    Oh my goodness I am soooo stuffed. That was a lot to eat for dinner lol! I had the beets they weren't to bad at first but by the last one I got a little nauseated lol! But I finished it all and now waiting for weigh in tommorow I must say it was a good dinner and if this works I will b doing it again I haven't felt hungry at all today! I drink one liter of water and have another liter to down before bed. I'm off to tan now then gonna come home clean house n get to bed early!!! Hope everyone else done well and made it thro the day with no cheating I'm proud to say I didn't cheat one time nor was I tempted to!! Taz

    Yep I started today... Followed to the T as well... The dinner was hard to finish.. I had to drag it out... I weighed myself this morning... 156.... I'll weigh again Thursday morning I don't want to obsess

    I only lost .2lbs today...I had a hard time finishing the dinner last night. Way too much for me to eat...I usually lose more than that too grrrrrrr So annoyed...Im still gonna go by the diet, but on my own terms..I cant eat as much as they want me to anymore...I felt blah yesterday trying to...

    Omgggg happy dance happy dance I lost 2.3 pounds!!! Yayyy I'm soooo happy cause I been stuck and haven't lost anything hardly, so now I'm almost back to where I wanted to b! I love the food but last nite the dinner was very hard for me to finish I was so stuffed ! I even gagged my beets down lol I'm so excited and going to finish my last 2 days I hope I will have great results tommorow to!
    This is just what I needed and I'm happy today! Been feeling so fat n yucky lately !!!!



    Tex sorry u didn't lose quite as much as u wanted to, but I'm sure it's cause u been losing lots of weight lately, mayb ur body was just shocked by this new change but still .2 is better then nothing right?! I hope u have good results tommorow!!! Glad ur still in!!!!

    Taz - thats awesome! Glad you are feeling more positive about yourself!

    Texas - I am also sorry to hear you didnt lose what you wanted, but like Taz said, maybe your body was in some sort of shock. Did you exercise at all?

    I lost .4, but that's ok. I'm back at it for Day 2 and I'll weigh in Thurs morning...sometimes it takes a couple days for the scale to move. Today I go to the Doc for my weekly weigh in..I'm curious to see how much fat I lost this week!

I don't no how many calories this plan is but it's so perfect for me, I don't even get hungry at all thro the day! It's crazy ! And I feel like I'm eating so good compared to how I usually eat!     Ok day 2 on this plan, not as good as day 1 but I'm down another pound so Total loss in 2 days is 3.3! I'm happpy with this cause like I said I was just sitting still before! Soo woot woot!!! I think the reason I didn't do so well today is cause those 2 beef franks and 8 saltine crackers had soooo much sodium in them it literally made me sick, especially those beef franks ugh I had to force them down they were horrible! So ok day 3 today last day if I can lose another poundAt least, >>>I will b happy, any loss is A-OK with me))) How did u other girls do?! I wonder if anyone has actually lost ten pounds in 3 days? I'm following this to the T mayb it's a little slower since I have already lost over 120 pounds?! I'm for sure going to do this again if I keep the loss off during the next few days)) taz

    I'm doing good too! I had everything I was suppose to yesterday. As of this morning another 1 pound gone, so 1.4 total. I think your right Taz about not losing the full 10. I think someone might be more likely to lose it if they are just starting to diet or exercise. I've been eating healthy and working out for 2 months now so I don't think it's that big of a shock to my body. If I would of did this my first week tho I prob would lose more. I agree that it's not hard and I feel like I am eating better doing this, even tho I know I was eating good before doing this diet. and like you I want to see how I do with keeping it off until next Monday morning. If I do, I think I will keep doing this every Mon-Wed for awhile.

    Yayyy for u I'm happy ur down another pound! Ok so I'm going to do this with u every mon-wed to if we keep it off over the weekend! Now if it all comes right back the first day lol I SO won't b doing it again lol I don't want to yo yo like that! But yea I am so satisfied with the amount of food, plus the food is good! I actually got me some pickled beets today and that's what I'm having tonight and boy are they yummy lol! I looked on the jar and it's got less fat and less carbs then the plain beets! I also had my vanilla carb smart ice cream tonight sweetened with splenda soooooo let's hope these two changes won't stop me from losing tommoriw! I'm very happy that I'm losing tho!And yea I agree someone who Is just starting out dieting could really lose big on this 3 day plan good luck with weigh in tommoriw I'm nervous to see that scale lol!!     I started the 3 day diet today, I am doing ok so far. I picked the 3 days of the week where I am busy, and do not have time to think about food. I will let you know how it goes, I am interested to hear about eveyone's progress. good luck!!!

    Ok so after day 3 I was down 2.3 today!!! Ahhhhh so exciting sooooo in three days I lost a total of 5.6 pounds!!! I'm sooooo happpy with this loss! I even had xtra ice cream last nite instead of the melon!! Wow I'm scared to eat today I feel so lost and not sure what to eat ! I'm just curious as to what would happen if I keep eating on this plan, just start all over lol and continue ! Hmm mayb I will try it another day? I'm so silly!! But I don't want to stop losing and worried if I eat today I may go up tommorow 5 pounds! Ok sooo made up my mind I'm going to do the first day all over today, just to see what happens lol! I mean it's good food I'm eating better then I normally do so what could it hurt right! I'm addicted to weight loss lol taz

    Yayyy another one!! I think u will love this plan, I lost a total of 5.6 pounds in 3 days I'm not going off it today tho I'm going to try it another day to see what happens, hopefully it won't back fire on me, ugh that would sux!     Well.... not much happened for me... maybe 1 lb if that.... I figured it would be too many carbs for me... the first day I ate the icecream my heart was POUNDING and then I was really tired... so just goes to show you some things work for some people..

    So next weeks 3 day diet for me will be Atkins fat fast


    The Fat Fast is one controlled carb program where you do have to count calories. You'll eat 1,000 calories a day, with 75 percent to 90 percent comprised of fat. Frequent feedings prevent hunger better than three meals a day, so you consume five feedings, perhaps one every four hours, comprising 200 calories each. Because of the high fat content and frequent feedings, very few people experience much hunger. The stumbling block for some people is the absence of conventional meals. But most are willing to stick with it for a few days, even if the food selections are unfulfilling.

    Caution: The Fat Fast is actually dangerous for anyone who is not metabolically resistant. For people who lose weight fairly easily, the rate of weight loss is too rapid to be safe. But it carries very little risk for people who can barely lose on any other regimen.

    Step One: Eat Mostly Fat Begin with five 200-calorie feedings per day and follow for four or five days. Each item equals approximately 200 calories:

    one ounce of macadamia nuts or macadamia nut butter two ounces of cream cheese or Brie one ounce of tuna or chicken salad with two teaspoons of mayonnaise served in one-quarter of an avocado two deviled eggs made with two teaspoons of mayonnaise two ounces of sour cream and two tablespoons black or red caviar two and a half ounces whipped heavy cream topped with sucralose zero-calorie syrup two ounces of pâté (check label for fat content) two egg yolks (hard-boiled) with one tablespoon of mayonnaise

    Step Two: Modify the Fat Fast If increasing the fat-to-carbohydrate ratio and cutting calories work, any dietary change in that direction might get the job done. Next, you can try four meals a day of roughly 300 calories for a total of 1,200 calories. That should work, too, and what it allows is definitely more appealing to the taste buds:

    two ounces of beef chuck (do not drain fat) cooked in two tablespoons of olive oil two scrambled eggs with two strips of nitrate-free bacon two tablespoons of full-fat sour cream with a tablespoon of sugar-free syrup one-quarter cup chicken or tuna salad made with two tablespoons of mayonnaise three ounces of pâté (check label for fat content) one-and-a-half ounces of macadamia nuts

    Step Three: Return to Induction Try the 1,200-calorie regimen for a week, then go back to Induction. Or simply follow the concept of increasing the ratio of fat to protein. No one should have to feel that losing weight is hopeless. Sometimes the key to achieving your goal weight permanently is quite difficult to adhere to, but rarely is it simply impossible.

    Well I stayed the same weight as yesterday so I only lost 1.4lbs. My TOM came yesterday so maybe that has something to do with the scale a little who knows..

    Taz - I'm glad you lost over 5 lbs!! that's awesome!! I don't see how it can hurt to eat like that for one more day..the only thing I did read was that b/c the calories are so low after so many days your body will go into the starvation mode and that is why 3 days is supposedly the max..I would just see what happens tomorrow as far as weight loss but if you start to notice your not losing you should try eating a few more calories a day to trick your metabolism..I didnt add it up on my own but I remember reading that the 3 day diet cal totals (with using regular foods not fat free or low carb) is like 700-900 cals..somewhere in there..so you could run into the starvation mode thing since that is pretty low..just keep letting us know how you do!! you could also just google 1000 cal or 1200 cal diets (or however many cals you want) and get a menu of exactly what to eat..that way you'll know your only eating that much and wont feel like your eating "bad"

    One more thing Taz - you like protein shakes right?? go to the website below..maybe we can make a challenge out of it?..I was going to do it for all of Feb which would be exactly 4 weeks since there is 28 days..wanna join me maybe? Even if we don't do it for 4 weeks we can maybe do a 2 week challenge or something..I think I could do it b/c you eat other foods before the shakes and if your still hungry you can eat more..let me know your thoughts

    EEB, I will for sure let u no how I do tommorow! I'm hoping I lose something even if it's ozs lol! Today I did eat a little xtra ice cream and had a banana, I think my potassium is low had blood work done today, been having major heart palpatations the last 3 days, no good! So yea I had a Banana and haven't had many palpatations since! I just drink so much water a day so that makes since! I get it Now why they say no longer then 3 days,but seriously I prob don't even eat 700 calories a day lol on my own! It's just so hard for me to eat but when I have a set plan I do great sticking to it! I do love protein shakes and will check out this website tommorow, that would b fun to do a challange! I'm always up for those !! Sorry ur Tom messed things up! That always makes me mad lol! Well guess I will get ready for bed hoping for some good news in the morning! And if I'm down more I will stay on plan but add a little more like xtra chicken n veggies n of course ice cream lol! No more beef franks for me tho I don't lose much when I eat those salty things!!     Oolala, ur right this is a perfect example of how things work differently for people! Sorry it didn't go so well for u, I no that's a frustrating feeling, I felt so guilty when I first ate the regular vanilla ice cream so I had to go buy the carb smart with 4 net carbs per serving ! Cause I'm not a carb person either and just eating the bread makes me scared but again I found bread with only 9 carbs! I'm so careful when shopping for foods now, I look for those carbs right away! Ur diet plan here sounds interesting, be sure and let us no how it works for u!!! I love doing easy plans like this!! Taz

    The ice cream I get at walmart or dillions( gerbes) it's called carb smart ice cream by bryers! The bread I found at gerbes to and it's wonder light wheat! It was the only bread I could find that has 9 carbs per slice! It's really good! I checked every bag on that shelf lol!     Hey there. Sorry I haven't got to post until now, I'm just falling a part this year lol, surgery, then was back in hosp all day today having heart palpatations! So anyway after all the testing I no why I been so tired, cold and having my hair fall out like crazy! My thyroid test came back outta whack, was 5.95 and the cut off is 4.50 my dr said! So anyways he put me on synthroid and said my heart issues should stop soon. And my hair loss to, he was like ur pretty lucky u been losing weight cause ur hypo thyroidism and that stops u from losing weight! So he was Impressed!! About weight loss was down a pound today so 6.6 in 4 days! Not sure if I wanna do another day or not, don't want to mess up my body lol or go into starvation mode! Guess I will see what I lose tommoriw, I prob would have lost more today but had that banana n ice cream last nite !!! I will get with u tommorow tho ok?! Taz

    Glad to know your doing ok and losing weight!!! Still keep me updated on your weight loss and if your still doing the diet! I am just going to be eating super healthy all week and starting that protein shake diet I posted next Monday. Is your surgery this week? or are you just meeting with your doc this week? Keep us posted!!

    Ok girls, I started on this diet this morning! I read somewhere that as long as you consume all of the food that is alloted for each day, you can eat them at whatever time you prefer. So this morning I had a piece of wheat toast with 1 tbsp of peanut butter, an apple, and orange juice. For lunch I am having 1 piece of wheat toast, 1/2 cup of tuna and 1 cup of baby carrots. Dinner will be whatever is left over from that...so far so good!! I've been losing alot slower recently so I hope this kick starts my weight loss again. I also took last week off of phen and will start again today, hopefully that will help as well. We will see in 3 days though!!

    Keep up the good work ladies!! You're all doing amazing and keep me inspired when I feel discouraged.

    My body is goofy... I do that whole 3 day thing and lose pretty much nothing.... I eat icecream the other night with fudge and peanutbutter and a few pieces of bittersweet chocolate then weighed myself yesterday and I was down like 5 lbs... guess I just got it all mixed up .... whatever works!.... before that was all low carb though and my breakfasts are probably close to 1,000 calories alone.... I discovered a very gross and tastey low carb treat... I cut the skin off some chicken I was making buffalo style and I baked it in the oven with seasoned salt until with was crunchy bits and it was SO good.... seems like they should sell it like they do pork rinds...
    hmm that makes me think though... I have been eating a lot of hot food lately.. maybe that has something to do with it

    Ok, so as of this morning I was down a total of 3.7 lbs! Which is great. I will see what my final weigh in is tomorrow since today is my last of the 3 days.

    On a side note, my boyfriend is usually super supportive of me. He has made me feel great throughout this whole journey. While he doesn't say things about me weight every day, he does compliment me here and there. He isn't the kind of guy to reassure me every day that I'm doing good, because in all honesty I really don't need that, I know I'm doing good without anyone having to tell me. Either way, he has been acting funny over the past few days. Basically since I said that I was going to do this 3 day diet. I told him I was hitting a bit of a plateau and wanted to try to kick start my weight loss again. He was ok with it, but the past 2 mornings when I've jumped on my Wii to weight myself he has said things like "you'll probably gain it back by tonight", and today when I was excited to be down another 1.3lbs he said "well, you better see what it says tomorrow". I was like, "thanks for telling me how good I'm doing you jerk". He came back with an appology and said that he didn't really agree with crash diets, but that if the results were making me happy then he was proud of me. Ugggh, it's just like, really?? Why couldn't you have said that you were proud of me BEFORE you threw out all of that negativity my way. I know he's proud of me, but it just doesn't feel very sincere when it comes after comments like that. It's fine if he doesn't agree with the diet, I don't care about that, but he could have said it in a nicer non-condescending way.

    Sorry for that rant...it just got my feathers all ruffled this morning.

    Would love to hear how you all made out with this long-term! My doctor actually told me to try it, it was in my nutrition paperwork when I got the Phentermine. I've seen it all over the internet for years, so it made me chuckle.


    I'm going to try it starting tomorrow and see how I make out. I'm just starting my weight loss journey, so I would love to see a big loss! The MA at the doctor's office said she's done this diet and lost NINE pounds! I was amazed!

    So, here's hoping!

    I did well on this plan and kept what I lost off but I started a new thread of a new plan called the mayo clinic diet and omggg it's a awesome diet I have lost 6 pounds In 7 days and I'm not on phen! U should Check it out all the girls doing it with me r doing well some losing a pound a day even! It's a good plan and u get to est really really well taz

    Well, I started the 3 Day Diet yesterday, followed it to a "T". It was OK, the ice cream at the end really made my day! LOL

    But today, my Wii Fit told me I was UP .2 lbs! So that's a little LESS than encouraging. I know it's only a small amount, but I was just bummed because I went down 1.3 between Sunday and Monday, so....

    But I'll stick with it, and see what happens...

    Starting this today, will take the weekend off and do it again mon - wed. I had to modify a little on the food. Could not get to the grocery due to all of the snow, so I will let you know how it goes.

    I am keeping all of the calories the same, so hopefully the modifications won't affect the results.
