    I am so tired! I am getting used eating less calories and carbs but I am really tired at night by about 9 pm. The problem is that it is more emotional exhaustion than physical. Working with a house full of women who are comming off of every drug imaginable is stressful. Sometimes I wonder what I am doing to myself. I know that God has called me to do this but I also have to find a way to be balanced in my life. I am a stress eater. I have to teach these women how to get past the desire to give in to their cravings and triggers and not to trade their addictions for another. I have faith but some times I wonder what He is thinking. Well that is how my day has gone. I hope you all are in a good place tonight. I am headed off to bed. I am trying to get as much sleep as possible so that I can combat some of my stress. Good night

    Wow I can understand why u would b so exhausted! That would b a very stressful job, but those ladies are blessed that there are people like u willing to help them overcome all this! U prob learn so much thro this to, cause their addictions are pretty much like having a food addiction. ! We love food they love their drugs! I no it's so hard to break my sweets addiction lol so I can only imagine how hard it is for them and what kind of withdraws they go thro! U will b rewarded one day for all u do to help others! Just try to take care of urself thro all this to, don't let all the xtra stress and emotions get the best of you I no how it is when ur a stress eater cause I'm the same, but I'm happy to say I been good today and although I wanted to eat lots of sweets I didn't! Cause remember being skinny feels way better then those sweets taste !!! So u just stay strong and don't give in to any stress eating! Take lots of healthy snacks foods to work with u so u can b prepared and won't grab anything else!!! Have a good nite, taz

    Taz - I just looked at your pics! You look perfect, absolutely beautiful Such an awe inspiring transformation! I am so happy you took the time to send them to me, thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!! The next time I even think about eating something I shouldnt or not exercising I will remember your pics and how I hope to look 1/2 as good as you do now

    The surgery pics really broke my heart, now I see why you are so scared. I would never want to even look at a hospital again. I know in my heart that you will pull through this with flying colors. I have always been a very strong believer in if you think positively, only positive things will come your way. You have been through so much and have so much life to live and so much that you want to give to others. There is no way any more bad things will happen to hold you down. You are a strong, beautiful and willful woman and can do anything and beat anything that comes in your way! Dont EVER forget that!!!

    Now for a silly question...how did you manage to keep your boobs? lol, sorry if tmi...but I have only lost 37lbs and already went from a 42D to a 38C, so I am afraid (not to mention the hubby is afraid) that by the time I get to goal I will be back in a training bra - lol! So , just wondering if there are any tricks to the trade per say?

    Btw: I am part Indian too, Cherokee Indian
    Also, your before pics really remind me of myself at my starting weight...I really need to get some pics up, but dont have hardly any to chose from. I dont think I even have any of just me (besides from my wedding), cuz I really didnt like having my pic taken!

    I just got on the scale and I Have officially lost my first 10 lbs!!!!!!!!! I am so excited I know that I am on my way now!

    I Hope you dont mind me jumping in on this one... We [hubby and I] were both worried about my boobs saying Adios also. LOL So I have been making sure I do exercises that work out my chest muscles... IDK if thats what is keeping them around but after -30lbs only my band size has gone down. Im still a C cup.

    In fact my friend was just commenting on how much perkier and better my boobs look. Ive noticed myself too esp when I look back in my pics. They also have a rounder fuller look to them.

    Now Im off to google to see...

    Oh I have my Doc appt today... Kinda nervous Dont think the scale went down much but I hope the BF has since Ive been busting my butt with Shred.

    Good morning everyone!

    Well yesterday I was soo bad! I didn't take Phen and I kind of wanted to gain a little because that's how bad I wanted the scale to move! I felt like if I gained a little, it would shock my body into doing SOMETHING besides sitting at the same weight. So last night I had like 4 cookies, 2 lean pockets, some buttery bread (mm!), and some cheese (1 slice of kraft sandwich cheese). Total binge and I felt terrible and when I got on the scale this morning, I had gained exactly 1 pound from it. Ughh can't say I'm surprised though... but at least it moved! lol

    back on track today! I had a bowl of special k cereal in skim milk for breakfast and I'm drinking tons of water and I have my Phen today that I'm taking in a minute! I'll only have a few handfuls of trail mix and my 100 cal fat free yogurt for snacks today. As for lunch, I don't know yet. Maybe a smoked turkey sandwich? I always feel like that has some hidden calories somewhere in there though.

    I am really hating that I have no time to work out during the week!! I have at least 3 hours of homework a night and that's barely enough time to finish and shower and eat dinner before it's 11 PM and time to go to bed! That's why I really have to make up for it on the weekends and try to move around a lot while I am at work. I am going to go get a pedometer so that I can track how much I walk at work and that may motivate me to get moving some more!

    lol at the boobs! I wish I could lose some of my boobs. I am sure they will deflate a little once I get below the 200 mark. I remember when I was a kid and being super flat chested to like, growing huge boobies overnight (40 DDD to be exact - ugh).

    I'm actually trying to get under 200 before March so I can try to pester insurance about paying for a breast reduction. I want a little smaller, perkier boobs!

    Belle - sometimes I do that too! I think it kind of tricks your body a little.

    Well yesterday I am fairly sure I did not get enough calories AT ALL. I maybe ate 800, maybe, if that. I really need to force myself to eat some stuff. I keep thinking the less I eat the more I will lose, but I got on the scale this morning and it is back up to 219. GRRRR. I am so frusterate. I know I've been talking about knocking off the scale everyday and I haven't. I am seriously going to make bf hide it TODAY. I am driving myself freakin nutso

    I find myself reminiscing on when I was thinner. It really makes me want to work hard to get back to those days and those clothes! I used to be 160 4 years ago and I still have those clothes! I remember being in my bikini and all of my friends telling me how disgusted they were because I looked good in it and they were too self conscious to wear one! I was so confident back then and always wanted to go out with friends and do stuff. Now, I would much rather stay home in my big t-shirts and pajama pants. It's amazing what it'll do to you when you know you can wear cute clothes and look good! ..
    One day... I'll be that small again!!

    Shoefiend, yayy I'm happy u got all my pictures I tried to show u all my different stages lol cause it's so amazing to see how different u look throughout this weight loss journey! Thanx for all ur nice, sweet compliments !! U always make me feel so good, and always make me feel at peace with my upcoming surgery that comment u made has stuck in my head now and it really works cause I been thinking good positive thoughts and only good has happened this far! So no bad negative thoughts are going in my mind the day of surgery thank u so much!! About my breasts, I did lose some I used to b way bigger, but it's strange how each time I got smaller, my breasts just seemed to get the exact size needed for my weight! I didn't do any type of special exercise for them, believe me all I ever did was walk lol! So that's why I'm always stressing over n over that walking is the best exercise u can do to get the weight off! Seriously that's all I did, and that's all I still like to do! Cause it seems like when I work out and do weights I just gain weight from the muscles and I hated to see the scale go up! U will loose some of ur breasts but I bet u won't lose them all I went to lane Bryant a month ago to get measured for a bra and the lady said 42DDD I was like NOooooo way I'm not that big was never that size before my weight loss, she's like well u haven't been wearing the right size of bra! Which I knew that cause I would hang over on sides, but walmart don't sell cute bras in bigger sizes lol! But yea I still have plenty of breasts! Except I went with a 40 DDD and it fits better! I didn't want to b in such. A big size! I have had bigger breasts all my life so I was scared to that I would loose them that would have been horrible for me to experience lol! My mom n sister don't no why or where I got mine from hehe! U have got to put some pictures up or email me some so I can put a face to u start taking pics girl cause u will love looking back on them and seeing the changes! Trust me!!! Oh I have cheroke in me to lol we just have so much in common I'm so burned today it's horrible even my face, I'm surprised cause I never burn in the sun! But I'm keeping Lots of lotion on and looking forward to my nice tan in couple of days!!! Well girl have a good day I'm gonna go get some laundry n cleaning done and pay some bills, but I will b checking in today more!!!! B goood today and don't eat anything bad))))) taz

    Belle, sometimes that's what our body needs is to b shocked! There was days my scale wouldn't move for a week at a time Now that was frustrating! But i knew if I had one cheat day it would lead to another ! Then I would feel even worse! Try having more protein throughout the day that always seems to work for me! And as far as exercise walking is good, so even if ur walking around at work, that's ur exercise for the day, just try to get in as much walking as u possibly can in a day! The more the better!! I no it's hard when u work so much n then have lots of homework not to mention all the other house hold chores!! Just hang In there and feel proud for trying taz

    Xblackbetty, lol trust me u will lose some of those babies haha! Soon as I got under 200 that's when I started having big bras and not enough boobs! It was nice but I started to worry it may not stop but thank god it did and I feel like I'm the perfect size! So yea I think u will b happy with the size u end up with by the time u hit ur goal!! As for the scales GIRL u SOoo gotta hide those things lol omggg I no it's so tempting to weigh every single day but u really should try not weighing for a day or two! U may b surprised at ur results! And I think u for sure need to eat more calories, 800 isn't enough for u! Try uping them to 1200 for a few days and see if it helps' have protein shakes if ur not wanting to eat! I loved those! The whey protein from walmart or the EAS already mixed ones! Oh and if nothing else try this three day diet with me I'm down 2.3 pounds after my first day I'm hoping it continues to work like this, I'm following it to the T! If I can drop even 4 more pounds I will b sooo happy! I'm going to go off it 4 days then right back on it if it continues to work cause I'm eating better on this plan then I normally eat!!! Just an idea hang in there ur gonna make it!!!! Taz

    hello taz. i been experiencing the same thing with the plateau. but also i was cheating too much after 1 day but im gradually cutting it off thankfully.

    Xrikox, hey there, I don't think I have met u yet!! Hope to get to no u better ur welcome to post here anytime u want, we love meeting new phriends! Yea it's very frustrating when u get stuck, I have been there many times, no fun! But if u change things up it tricks yr body and then the scale will move! I no it's so easy to want to give up and cheat when this happens but DONT! Cause that food will only b good for a couple mins but u will b miserable and mad at urself for days! Our bodies go through so many changes during our weight loss journey, but as long as we hang in there and don't get to discouraged and give up we will see the light at the end of the tunnel! If I can lose 121 pounds in a year without phen anyone can do it cause I have a very stubborn body that likes to hang on to everything I eat! I'm still shocked everyday at how far I have come! I never in my life thought I would b small again! So just hang in there and don't cheat urself out of a life time of happiness taz

    yeah I havent met you yet hehe. you can call me eric. i was a member here for awhile i just barely came on but i came on hoping it can help with my motivation. I lost a a great number of weight myself that im still surprised i achieved it too. I have more to go though so im trying to stict to it. Im the same too like when i eat something too good yeah its temporary satisfaction but then I get all guilty. but yeah im definitely keeping my head up.

    I did lose some boobs too but it wasnt much and I was afraid to losed them because as it is I dont have alot lol! but I am a 36c so I hope that by losing this last 20 pounds that they stay there and dont go down lol!

That's why I really have to make up for it on the weekends and try to move around a lot while I am at work. I am going to go get a pedometer so that I can track how much I walk at work and that may motivate me to get moving some more!

    Southerbelle, I agree with Taz on upping the protein. If I feel the scale not moving I will up my protein and try to limit my carbs. I always try to make sure I eat at least a small amount of protein with every meal. This helps keep me full longer and feeds my muscles I also watch my sodium intake...the 1lb up is most likely sodium from the lean pockets and cheese...I know for me I really have to limit the processed foods cuz of the high sodium they hide in those yummy packages...I eat just a little too much and I feel like I bloat up like a big balloon - lol! I will eat lean cuisines and lean pockets on occassion tho, they sure are handy when you have a busy schedule. Also, like Taz said the protein shakes are good, I havent tried the whey one but the Eas are so yummy!

    Shoefiend, try the whey protein in the big ole tub at walmart! Mix it with lowfat milk, in a blender it's soo freaking good, much better then the eas shakes! The cookies n creme is my favorite, when I blend it in blender it's so light n fluffy it tastes lke a milk shake lol! The strawberry Is also good I add xtra strawberrys to mine it lasts for a long time u can even make it the nite before and have it ready in morning! It's got less carbs also taz

    I feel ya on eating less calories...somedays I feel like I shouldnt eat, even tho I know I have to in order to lose. But I just feel so guilty sometimes cuz I know that is what got me here. Last week I really struggled with eating enough, like you only ate about 800 cals. It sure didnt pay off on the scale, so this week I am aiming for 1200 and it has been a struggle so far. Like right now I know I should have lunch but it is like that inner demon in myself fighting to not eat. It will get better for the both of us, we will conquer this! And...the scale has started to become another obsession of mine also. Wasnt a problem in the beginning, but now somedays I feel like I should just strap it to my back and jump on before and after I eat!

    Aha! My fiance has the HUGE tub on top of his fridge that says whey protein! Thanks Taz! Now all I have to do is buy milk. Another trick I learned with making protein shakes taste better is to put some ice in it and blend it really well. It tastes even more like a milkshake with a little ice blended up in it!

    And thanks for the protein suggestions!! I'm definately going to try that! I was thinking of getting some eggs to boil for breakfast instead of special k cereal that has carbs and sugar. When you eat boiled eggs, do you take the yellow yolk part out? I heard that part is pretty fattening. Also, what do you like to put on it to make it taste better? Ive tried lemon pepper and regular salt

    Taz -I am so happy that I could help make you feel a little better about the surgery! Just keep on keepin those bad thoughts out and keepin good thoughts in From your pics it is sooo hard to believe that you are a 40DDD! I so understand not being able to find cute bras in bigger sizes! I have been on a bra shopping spree now that I can buy much cuter ones and all my other bras are baggy. I even went to Victorias secret the other day and was so happy to buy a new bra there, havent been able to in many years. But really are you sure they measured the right person -lol?! I can possibly see the cup size being right, but as for the around measurement u are way to tiny for a 40! As for the pics, I am going to try and work on that today...if I have problems posting here I will email you I dont have any pics of me at my current weight besides from my phone but I need to buy that cable to plug into my computer to download those or have hubby take some pics with our digital camera. I have tried to take some of myself using it but they dont turn out right cuz the flash in the mirror - lol.

    Those sound yummy! I love chocolate and strawberries! I wonder if they taste good with Soy milk...I am lactose intolerant so I get really sick when I drink regualr milk....Have you ever tried it with soy milk or water?

    I love boiled eggs, so I may occasionally add a little salt and or pepper but not sure what else to add to make it better. I eat the yellow part only on one, so if I have 2 then the 2nd one I will just eat the white part. Eating the yellow part in moderation is good for you..I saw on the show The doctors that eating one egg a day (yolk included) can actually help you lose more weight and help lower bad cholesterol. They are really good at helping you stay full longer and energized.

They also have the kind that's only whites so that would probably be really good for you! I haven't tried them though but I love scrambled eggs and I have heard people putting ketchup on boiled eggs. That sounds kind of strange but maybe worth a try?

    I love eggbeaters! They are suprisingly good. I like both the plain and southwestern, havent tried any other flavor. They taste like scrambled eggs to me too, not just like plain egg whites...I am not a big fan of plain scrambled eggwhites - yuck - lol! They are only 30 cals for one serving, good protein and no fat! I love to eat these when I am in the mood for turkey bacon - gives room for those extra cals and fat since eggbeaters are so low in both. A bonus... I can microwave them for like 60 seconds and they are done, little time and little mess I am not a big fan of ketchup, so cant say if that is good or not...but it may be worth a try
