    I'm down 4.6 lbs from last week! WOOHOO! I think that's the most of I've ever lost in a week on phen. It excites me!

    I have to go get the groceries today so I probably won't do the Wii til tonight or naptime depending on how nice the kids are to me at the store lol

    i have been sick my baby girl was sick! we are both feeling better now ( for the most part )

    Everyone seems to be doing GREAT! Thats awesome. I worked my 32 hour weekend so i'm exsausted, trying to recover. 16 hour shifts with 8 hours in between another will wear you out! going to try in get some exercise in today though, if not I will tomarrow for sure. Does anyone have severe mood swings with the phen? One minute Im fine and then BAM I turn into a total B****!Poor Hubby

    Hey everyone!

    Things were crazy during the weekend, so I haven't been on here a lot. I have been doing the run on the wii 3-4 times a day. I have also been doing the Biggest Loser on there as well.

    I have decided to start weighing once a week (Fridays). Doing everyday is just too much emotionally. Every ounce is just making me crazy!

    Hey Tex: I noticed we have very similar starting sizes. You are doing AWESOME! I was wondering if you are counting calories? Or what kind of diet are you sticking to?

    My goodness, one day last week I read this thread and it was like one page long, then I check in today and sh*t, it's 9 freaken pages!!! I gotta be in on this one!


    Hi everyone and awesome thread Tex & Ryl. I couldn't read every single post because my eyes started burning about 4 pages into it, lol. I skimmed through most.

    I lost 135lbs quite some time ago, was down to 165lbs, got too comfortable in my size 12 (big jump from size 26/28) and managed to gain back 76 of them pounds. Since starting Phen in July, I've lost 20lbs and dropped 2 sizes. I really stalled the past couple months (Nov. & Dec.) and need to find that motivation to keep going. I eat better and exercise but not enough to keep losing anymore. I need to kick it up a notch!

    I saw that Tex felt bad about a ding-dong, I had a hostess cup cake last night with a glass of water after my BF fell asleep on the couch. Usually, it's the other way around, I sleep while he snacks. For dinner last night I had chicken mole (mol-eh, it's a Mexican dish) with some spanish rice and steamed veggies. I could have done without the rice but it was too good.

    Ok guys, it's really cold these days and the heater in my old @$$ Expedition doesn't work. That makes it a lot harder to leave my warm little house for the 10 mile trip to the gym. I was recently visiting the gym almost daily until our hot water heater was replaced at home and still managed only to maintain my weight. I was going to buy the 30 day shred but I don't have enough space to work out with it until my BF cleans up the spare bedroom with all his cr@p everywhere. He has some old weight benches that don't work taking up space with heavy boxes piled over. I was working out in our living room and had to lock my dog outside because he kept jumping on me, then cried until I let him in. I DON'T EVEN HAVE KIDS YET.

    HAHA! Tequila cracks me up! lol My cat freaking loves to play with my feet while Im doing the 30 day shred or running on the wii lol It cracks me up!

    KRYS- honestly I am really NOT counting calories, although I do try and stay under 1200, but I find myself grocery shopping forEVER becuz I look at the nutrition labels like I am a CSI Agent lol I have been sticking to veggies and tuna and such. RYRY also found that she can eat a whole grill chz sandwhich for 100 calories Also, tomatoes are sooo yummy to me. I really watch my calorie, fat and sodium intake. Im not a carb watcher at all. I also exercise every day on the wii and right now, I am doing the 30 day shred straight thru ( I am on day 7 or 8 I think) In the one week that I have been doing the 30 day shred, I have lost 3 inches and 1.5 of those inches were from my thighs alone!! lol You really will see results if u stick with it. Its freakin hard though! lol Other than those things, I stay glued to this forum becuz I really need the support as well. Hearing u guys say I am doing good is what I need to hear since I can be such a B***H to myself about my weight lol

    DONISE- hope u start feeling better soon!!

    CHRISTY- It looks like we pretty much lost the same amount of weight this week! good job! keep it up and maybe we will see these results again next week!

    Looks like everyone is doing awesome!!! Good job!

    Me not so much. I ate bad. To much salt I think because I could not even put on my wedding ring this morning, and it's normal to big on my finger. I was up 2 lbs. so I went to the gym and worked out extra hard this morning and sticking to friut and veggies all day.

    I have been on Phen for almost a week now and I have really noticed the mood swings too! I'll feel perfectly fine and something irritates me and I snap at it and then I'm like "whoa! where'd that come from?" Maybe it's "my monthly visitor" but it feels more like the phentermine. It's not too bothersome.. probably just my body trying to adjust to it. How long have you been on it?

    i was at the doc that day tld him i heard good results from people in my area in iowa that was on the phen. He told me that i was morbid obese for my height weight. i dont feel that way though so he tld me that he wants me to lose 20 pds the first month otherwise he will take mo off it. Im kinda scared i watch fit tv in the mourning and exercise with the workouts,drink water all day and eat three times a day. I take 35 mg i dont have any side effects but i think i can do this. im really not hungry at all which is so suprising. I read nothing but good this on this sight and willing to support anyone trying to take control of their body to feel healthy and better about yourselves.

    I have been on it about 3 weeks, I did stop taking it for about 4 or 5days because I had gotten some virus so I been back on it for about a week. I hope that the mood swings go away soon because my poor husband dosent know what to do...The first time he just looked me and was like " Wow are your pregnant ?"

    YAY... I went to the dr. today and she gave me the thumbs up to try phen, so starting tomorrow i'm officially a user!! I'm so excited!!! I don't get to start on a high dosage until 2 weeks has passed, per my dr, but oh well hopefully i'll lose a couple since I exercise 5 days a week. Anyway, I'm so glad i found this forum and i'm looking forward to sharing my sucesses with ya'll!! What a wonderful monday!!

    Hey there y'all!!!

    Today's been a pretty good day! I bought groceries tonight...gee...only spent $85 bucks!!! UGH...nothing is ever cheap! But TAZ...I'm gonna try your Whey Cookies n Cream! I hope it's good! It smells good!! Smells like it would be really good in milk! It says just to mix in water. Do you do anything different to it to make it better??? Just asking! It was $14 bucks at Walmart.

    I made my infamous soup tonight. My house smells incredible!!! I love that soup!! It's basically like a veggie soup with carrots/celery/ground turkey/and potatoes!! MMMM It's so good! Can't wait till lunch tomorrow to have some!!!!

    I did my Fit for only 25 minutes tonight. Not great...but at least it's something! I need to try the yoga and stuff...I just like the games better...lol.

    Anyway, I need to get to bed. Have a lovely evening girls! See you in the morning!!!!

    Tabby congrats and welcome aboard. So i completely busted butt today since the scale was up this morning. I pretty much worked out all day on and off. I finished the day with 715 calories burned on wii fit plus and 500 calories on the elliptical and then the shred. So I am hoping that tomorrow the scale is down that stupid lb i gained. I did really well with eating and i drank a gallon of water so lets see what tomorrow brings us ladies... good night.

    I'm super happy. I am down to 217.5 as of this morning!!! WOO HOO! That's 18lbs loss. I realllly want to be to 200 by the 30th. Do you guys think it's feasible?? I am meeting a friend of mine that I met through another friend and we have not met in person yet, but only over the phone, letters email, etc. Sooooo I kind of want to at least be at 200lbs when we meet.

    Good morning ladies!

    I feel like I am just a bit stuck. I have been at 239 for 5 days now

    Don't you think I should have lost more than that by now? I am sticking with 1200 cals a day. I am religious about this! I am drinking all my water, and exercising 20/30 mins a day (mostly on the wii).

    Am I being too picky? Or doing something wrong... It is so hard to work your booty off every day and the scale is the same every day

    Good Morning Ladies!! I am down 2lbs this morning!! woot woot! I took a break from exercise yesterday since I have done it 10 days straight and I was exhausted yesterday. The weight is just melting off and I couldnt be happier! I only have 3.9lbs to lose to meet my January goal, but Im thinking I might just meet that by the end of THIS week! crossing my fingers!!!

    KRYS- Are u on TOM? What exactly are u eating in those 1200 calories?? What else do u watch other than ur calorie count? What exercises do u do on the wii? Sorry if Im playing 20 questions but Im just trying to figure out WHY ur not losing and what we could do to jump start ur weight loss again.

    HONEYBABY- So in a little less than 3 wks u want to lose 17lbs?? Thats over 5lbs a wk so idk if thats possible...maybe if u up ur exercise?? I hate to say it, but I dont think u will and I dont mean that in an ugly way, but its freaking hard to lose so much weight wkly...I think u can get close to it though..at least another 10lbs if u work hard

    RYRY- You are doing so good! And good girl on not getting that fatty sausage biscuit at mcdy's today!! Im proud of you and it also shows how serious u really are about losing this weight this time...You are doing awesome girlfriend!! hehe

    Tex - that's just the motivation I needed...You know why? Because I like to have a competition and now that someone told me they think I can't do it I am going to work my hardest to do it now!!! LOL I am a competitive person, so that's just the boost I needed. I lost 6lbs in the last 8 days so if I could keep that up I MIGHT be able to make it. I started exercising 1 hr at the gym, I walk on my morning break at work, I walk with my walking buddy after work, and then I do the Biggest Loser Boot Camp DVD's for 30 minutes after we walk. SOOO I don't think I can really do anymore working out than that. But, I do notice since I've been doing all that, that's how I lost the 6lbs in the last 8 days. Anyhow, I'll keep you guys posted. Thanks.

    Honey- Its gonna be a tough goal to meet but if you push yourself you could probably do it. If you dont make it exactly tho dont beat yourself up.

    Tex- Thanks! you know how bad i wanted a sausage bis. lol. I passed it up and now i have to wait til mouth isnt so numb from the dentist to eat. And girl you know your doing just as good as me

    HONEYBABY- Sorry, hope I didnt offend you! And I didnt mean u COULDNT do it, but thats just a LOT of weight to lose so fast! BUT....since ur weight is melting off just as fast as mine, then yea, it is possible! Whatever it is u are doing, keep it up becuz its working!! hmmmmm, now u got me wondering if "I" can do that much too!! lol If I could lose 17lbs by the end of January, that would put ME at around 216!!!! oooooo, I think I like you cuz I am also a competitive person and want to see if I can do that too now! lmao Bring it!

    Dang lol Im already a part of the 30 day shred challenge and now I've got another challenge on my hands!! woo hoo!! gotta love it! Just keeps me more focused on my goals!!     I finally got a few minutes to post back! No, I am not on TOM...so it is just really confusing me!

    Here is what I have been doing...

    DIET
    I am averaging eating 1100-1200 calories a day (never more that 1200)
    I eat an average of 19 grams of fat per day
    .... 27 grams of sugar
    .... 140 carbohydrates
    ....31 grams of protein

    Exercise
    20 - 30 mins on wii ( usually a circuit on Biggest Loser and some running on wii fit)

    I am constantly moving around at work because I teach high school and our school is pretty big. Plus, at home I am chasing a two year old and usually toting around my 20 pound 9 month old LOL!

    You think I am not eating enough? Sometimes its hard to even eat the 1100 calories, it makes me feel stuffed! Thanks for looking at this. I am asking you because we started just a day apart, and are very similar in starting weights

    Tex and Honey: Count me in, a pound a day for the rest of the month! I don't know what has been going on with me the last few days, but it has got to end soon right? I think I am doing everything right...
    Anyway, I would like to join you two with your goal/challenge. I will start adding the Shred to my daily routine too. Maybe that will give me a boost

    Well im more than happy-more like ecstatic that all of u are doing so well!!! Bc im not! I jus dont know what is truly wrong with me-instead of me fighting temptation i keep giving in!! I think ima need to take sumn else with tha phen to help curb my appetite-rather my sweet tooth. My eating isnt extremely great so i need some help from you all!!! Could u plz post what ur typical day of eating consists of. THANKS so much!!! Oh yea do u think it would b ok if i added a half of phen to my day?

    I don't eat too well but here goes lol
    breakfast- dont usually have time for breakfast but when I do, it's usually something small like 1/2 a bagel with light cream cheese. One thing I religiously do is have my water bottle full before I leave to go to work and I drink water all day long.

    For lunch, I have anything from a big bowl of green beans to a special K protein shake (180 cals) or today I had a lean pocket (250 cals).. yesterday I had a sandwich with 98% fat free turkey on whole wheat bread with miracle whip light and a slice of cheese.

    For dinner, I like to have a bag of steamed veggies and some kind of lean protein. Wal mart has these great bags that you can just put in the microwave and they steam the veggies right in the bag! Wal mart also has big bags of frozen chicken breasts that I will cook and season with lemon pepper. Canned white chicken is also good for chicken salad and canned tuna makes a good lean meal too. They have tuna flavored in hickory or lemon pepper that come in packets. I add lots of stuff like pickles, light mayo, a tbsp of grated cheese, lemon pepper, etc...

    and if I get hungry during the day, I like to keep a sliced cucumber close with some salt or lemon pepper. Really helps with stomach rumbles

    How funny...never thought I'd be EXCITED to go workout lol Im trying my butt off to lose weight, but this just gives me that extra OOMPH! to try even harder! hehe So Im gonna go home and run for 20 mins. on the wii and do my shred as well...Geez man, now Im excited to see what the end of January brings for us!!

    KRYS- I am thinking that the only thing u need to up the anty on is the exercise..Looking at ur food intake, all that looks good so idk...I usually shoot for 20-30 min on the wii, plus the 27min on the shred so I get a full hour just about of working out...U on phen? How many mg is it? 15? 30? 37.5? and how much do u take? Really if u arent losing, its becuz u are consuming more calories than u are burning...Isnt it like 3500 calories is equal to one pound of fat? Idk...I'd say up ur exercise b4 lowering ur calorie count, but thats just me...I would be fine on lower calories becuz my phen works wonders on me, but idk about u. Whatever u do, just dont quit

    GEMINI- Here is my typical day k?

    Breakfast- Banana and fat free yogurt w/ water (190 cal)

    Lunch- Tuna sandwhich, 100 cal granola yogurt w/ water (250 cal)

    Dinner- broccolli, chicken w/ water (235 cal)

    Or I'll have pita bread with grilled chicken, fat free sour cream, lettuce and tomato and a tiny bit of chz...Also Walmart has these little taco bell dinners that are like 190 cal they come with beans, rice and chicken/steak...just a small bowl. Tonight though, I plan on boiling some eggs becuz I am CRAVING a hard-boiled egg lol You have reallllly got to stay away from that sugar!! lol That is whats hurting u so bad! Just limit urself if u can...You can do this Oh and I wouldnt up ur phen if I were u...not without asking my doc first..k?

    Gemini - I was having the same problem. As of the fourth of January I am doing a 30 day fast from all sweets like candy, soda, etc. Well, I stopped drinking soda like 4 months ago.... Anyhow, the first two days were the hardest. But, now that I've been off of it for 8 days I don't even care about sweets. See, the more sweets you eat the more your body craves them. Once you cut them out of your system completely it helps you not to give into the cravings.

    I stick to 5 meals of 300 calories each meal. If I go over my calories on one meal then I will subtract it from the next so I stay within 1500. I NEVER feel hungry because I am constantly eating like every 3 hours.

    Here's what I ate today:

    Meal 1: Sausage Mcmuffin (370calories) - I normally eat a whole grain cereal, but today I wanted that so I got it. I generally do the 80/20 rule eat 80% good and 20% bad...so I don't beat myself up if I want that piece of cake or piece of pizza as long as it's in moderation

    Meal 2: Banana, pear, 4oz Pure OJ

    Meal 3: 3oz steak, 1 cup cooked bell peppers and mushrooms

    Meal 4: Whole Wheat Pita w/ 6 slices of thinly sliced turkey breast sandwich meat, lettuce, tomato, and mustard

    Meal 5: (not sure yet) Maybe a 3oz chicken breast with veggies

    Anyhow, I don't put salt or any of that. I use herbs and spices that do not contain salt and I use balsamic vinegar w/ olive oil and red pepper flakes for salads, because there's hardly any calories in that. Eating all of that above leaves me stinking FULL. Even though it's only 1500 calories.

    My day looks like this....breakfast: oatmeal and a piece of fruit or eggbeater, turkey bacon and fruit, or EAS protein drink and fruit if in a hurry. Lunch: salad with veggies and grilled chicken or tuna, whole wheat tortilla wrap with lean protein and veggies or lean cuisine and fruit or veggie if in a hurry. Dinner: I have done research online for yummy low cal/low fat recipes so my whole family will eat what I eat...I use hungrygirl, sparkpeople and I have a biggest loser cookbook...alot of go to's are stirfry, turkey/veggie chilli, baked fish, chicken enchiladas or fajitas, and my new fave chicken cordon bleu (I found a yummy recipe for this one on sparkpeople and hungrygirl). I like to change things up alot so I dont get bored with what I am eating and I love to cook (most days-lol) so I make sure to try new things.

    As far as taking another 1/2 pill in the afternoon....are you already taking a full pill in the am? If so I wouldnt unless you have your doc's approval....maybe try changing the time you take your pill or take 1/2 in the am and the other 1/2 in the afternoon. Everyone has a different way that their body responds to it the best. For me, I cannot take it early in the morning or I am starving by dinner time and want to eat everything in sight. I eat breakfast at 7am ish then wait to take my pill till between 11am and noon then eat lunch about 1:30. This keeps the pill working for me all day. So, maybe try a few different ways to see if things change for you, if not I would talk to your doc....but please dont up the dosage without talking to your doc first, I dont want anything bad to happen to you Good luck

    For me it works best to take it either 2 hrs before or after I eat on an empty stomach. When I would take it after I ate or right before it didnt work as well. I think it absorbs better and the effects last and work better by being absorbed in your system on an empty stomach.

    I take mine first thing in the morning when I wake up. If I take it too late in the day, I don't sleep well that night.

    A question: Does Phen give you a bad taste in your mouth?? It does to me and I have to constantly have something to drink or a mint and it seems like I have been pretty thirsty too.

    I take mine as soon as I get out of bed becuz if I take it too late, I cant sleep at all so its usually around 6-7am I take it. Mine works allllll day too lol

    I dont get a bad taste in my mouth, but I do get cotton mouth a lot.
