Yes, I could have reset my counter so that it didn't show last years loss and then gain... but I need to remind myself,every day, how easy it is to put it back on.

I'm still stuck so I don't know why I bother posting though since I'm having no success.

I am having some challenge with actual success as well. My exercise routine is going well. I am up to 2.5 miles a day running as of this week. But it seems like every weekend i find myself driving to houston for something. 2 weeks ago it was for 2 of my kids' birthday (cookouts, ice cream and cake etc. sooo good for a diet right?). This last weekend i had a high school reunion party. I was generally good but still ate more than i usually would.
So the bottom line is that i am 3 pounds over my tracker weight currently and trying to get it back in line and dropping.
I am not overly worried about it. I started doing my protein shake for dinner again last night and was down 2 pounds this morning. We are not going anywhere this weekend, so i will be less tempted.
Maybe its just me but after I drink my protein shake I'm still hungry even after it digests. It ****s because I feel like I'm wasting calories and then end up going over them to make the hunger go away. Plus water doesn't keep me full it in facts me more hungry too and so I try not to drink water after drinking my shake, but I can only go so long without getting thirsty. Grr.

Are you making the protein shake or drinking a prepackaged one? If possible, make it yourself. The reason i ask is that the thicker the protein shake is, the fuller it will make you feel. The prepackaged ones are pretty thin and don't sustain as well.
In our shakes we put in protein powder, plain yogurt, frozen fruit, flax, and some half and half.
I know, adding the half and half probably sounds weird, but we d low carb and cream isnt a bad thing with that. Full whipping cream would nake it too thick. Half and half is a pretty good compromise.
It is very filling. In fact, it almost seems too filling at times, but it works pretty well.
I make them but I only do what the directions say to. I use 2% milk. They are pretty thick too well from what else I've had. They aren't fantastic. I need to try vanilla ones with fruit added or something.
Also I've made 8oz before and that was almost too much to drink made me a tad bit fuller but still not full I was still hungry later on which was disappointing.

Hey Im checkin in... I have nothing to report. lol. I have been off of phen for a week now and yep im still up 3 lbs from my lowest. This week I started bike riding every morning so we will see if by next week it goes down. I dont try and weigh every day now but more like once a week or so... i hope everyone is doing well... keep it up girls.

im sommer and im from tampa fl. ive been on phen since 7/09 and Ive lost 11lbs! I just mostly lurk around and read any good info I can find! I find that im still hungry on phen and it doesnt really give me alot of energy. i see results on the scale so i guess thats all that matters. im now 181! i havent been in the 80s in like 3 years!

I didn't fall off the wagon, I fell under the wagon looking for snacks!!! (Lol) I admire all the honesty and determination. I'm at my highest ever of 268 on 5ft frame. I just started back on 7/18/2010 and as of today I have lost 8 lbs. Last time I sort of wanted instant results. This time, I'm going to take my time and learn new eating habits. I'm a mother of five, I go to school, and I also work. I am going to have to replace stress eating with something else. I'm kind of embarrased when I put on my clothes on. Everything shows all my weight gain. It also feels like when I post, I'm kind of taken as a joke. If I was joking I wouldn't be here. I do not enjoy exercise. I used to love walking. I had gotten so good that I was wogging(Walking & jogging 4 those who may not know). I just got to were I stopped caring and ate whatever,whenever without thinking about what I was doing to myself. You guys seem so sincere and I'm glad that I finally ran into this post.

How is everyone? Great I hope!! I've been doing fine since no phen I was worried ( do occasionaly get very hungry late at night but if i do give in it's always healthy choices) My energy levels have been fine. My dr said I'm doing great. I have 3 more lbs to be at the stubborn 100 lbs loss.Last 15 lbs have been killer to take off. I'm starting another 30 day cycle of the SHRED today!

Hey Guys!!! Its been awhile since I posted... I stopped phen for a while to see if I can jump start my weight loss again. I have not really watched what I ate or anything and not only did I fall under the wagon but that wagon ran my fat butt over!!! BUT on a brighter side... I caught myself before I found myself slipping back into the old me...
I still am in the 160s and hope that I can one day just feel happy bout where I am at. I know I have lost a good chunk and Im thankful for that but am not happy with the mommy belly i got going on.
So here I am back again and I will try and check in more often...

This thread has been kind of drifting for a while without much going on.
That's just unacceptable, so I will try to start it back up!
I have been struggling some this week. Last week I ran a total of about 12 miles, plus another 5 walking. One run was for 5 miles. This week is a whole other story! I have barely been able to knock out a mile run at a time. I think i wore myself out last week. I have run a mile twice and I did 2 miles last night. I hope to hit 3 miles again tonight.
Weight has also been a problem. I am currently at 3 pounds over my low of 250. Not real happy about that but it is my fault. Didn't eat well last weekend.
So, it is back to the grind. I realized the other day that I had been tapering off on drinking water, to the point where I barely had any on Tuesday. And then I was surprised when my run didn't go well.... dehydrated... duh!
So yesterday I made a point of drinking a ton of it, and it seemed to help.
That's about all I got.
