    Good afternoon my phen friends! Just got done at the gym and I have to say it was a week workout. Only 500 calories. Looks like I will be going back tonight to get 500 more in. And I'm starting my 30 day shred today as well. I need to step it up a notch to get this last 18 lbs off. Hubby and I are taking the kids to a water park in Ohio the end of Feb. so that is the goal I'm setting for myself. The thought of getting in a bathing suit is going to drive me to loose the 18 lbs lol.

    Honeybaby~ I'm so glad that things are going well for you and your daughter. It's a tough thing to do. And congrats on your weight loss that great!

    Good afternoon all! Well today is the day that i start on my phen! I been trying to make small changes in my diet so that i wont get overwhelmed...so far so good i've cut out sodas and today i am changing my bread to whole wheat and plan on getting more water in.Those are my main goals for the wk. At the end of the wk i plan on joining my gym-then next wk they will b starting a bootcamp for 6wks 2hrs on sat-thas what got me going last time i had lost some weight so im lookin forward to that!!!
    I have def got to get me a Wii so i can join in on these challenges! Hope everyone is having a great monday-this will b my first day back since 12/23!

    fabulous - wow 1000 calories for your workouts. That's awesome!! You go girl. With workouts like that you should lose that 18lbs in NO TIME AT ALL! Is the waterpark indoors? Because wouldn't it be a bit cold this time of year???!!!

    geminihoney - Hey girl, congrats on starting your weightloss. We are here to stand by you and support you! I cut out sodas about 3 months ago and honestly I don't even like the taste of them anymore. I will have maybe half a glass of soda (about 4oz) once every few weeks just to remind me that I still don't like that carbonated syrup going down my throat. That's a great way to start girl! Keep us posted on how your weightloss is going.

    Hey Ladies!
    Just checking for a few while I'm at work, hope everyone is doing great, sure sounds like it!

    I woke up this morning and was so excited to get on the scale and then I looked down. I gained 4 pounds OVERNIGHT!! TOM is upon me! Like its not enough to have to deal with the crankiness and the cravings, we have to throw water retention on top of all that! I keep telling myself thats its just water weight and it's going to come right back off, but I'm so upset about it. It's hard to keep on track when you see a gain, especially because I know I have been doing so good.

    Ok thats enough feeling sorry for myself!

    I feel ya about TOM... My tummy even looks bloated... I made sure that I started drinking an extra 30oz of water 2 days before I expected mine it helps with my junk craving when I start... IDK why but it has helped. So I know Im holding some water..

    Ive been so good this week but I dont even want to jump on that scale til tomorrow morning.

    But I'm back ! I'm motivated by all of you guys just reading all of your thoughts, it's inspiring ! I wish you guys all the best for 2010 and I will be posting more often now that I'm back at it ! Back at 205 ..My goal in the upcoming months between jan & april Is to lose 40 pounds ! THIS TIME IS DIFFERENT BECAUSE I QUIT SMOKING (YAY!!) December 2nd So I'm Officially 30 days clean Tobacco free I'm so HAPPY I don't know what to do ! If I can quit Cold Turkey I can Surely Lose 40 pounds ! That's my motivation Quitting Smoking ** My next step Is to get My Pills and get a Digital Cam So i Can update you Guys with Progress ** 2010 TIME TO BE THIN *** WHO IS WITH ME LMAO *** So between now and Then You will hear a lot from me ! at one point I knew Faces on here But Now Things have changed ! But i look forward to getting to know all of you guys!     Good afternoon ladies,

    I'm back on my Phen today and everything is going well so far. Idk why, but I'm happy that I'm getting "cotton mouth" again! Weird! I guess because in my mind, I know the Phen is working. At first, after a while, I stopped having cotton mouth. My appetite is gone and I'm drinking my water. Anyway, I'm starting the 30 Day Shred again today and will be starting back over on level 1, whereas I was on 2 when I stopped a couple of months ago.

    DIMEDIVA- lol Well, he came back the next day and stomped me! lol I guess it was just my lucky day to kick his butt when I did lol Oh well...

    So I tried the Rythm Boxing on the Wii Fit Plus and wow my arms are sore lol I still have to do my 30 day shred tonight, but Im waiting for my kids to go to bed so they wont distract me as bad as they do while Im trying to do my Wii Fit...So many ppl are getting on here now Im loving it!     I really should log on here each morning before I start my day... it's great motivation!

    I have a question for everyone....
    What are you all doing for food?
    I have never been a big eater, its just the things I choose to eat are what hurt me. I am trying to stay under 1200 cal's but having a hard time picking out food. Breakfast has to be a "on the go" meal... which Im having a hard time finding something low cal thats easy. Lunch Ive been eating smart one's frozen meals. And for dinner... if I cook something that seems unhealthy for dinner, I either skip it all together or make a small bowl of frosted mini wheats. Its so hard eating right when you have a 24 year old husband, 22 year old brother and two little boys to cook for. They eat like dogs and dont gain a pound!

    Some food ideas would be great please!

    Familys coming in next Friday from TX to see the new baby... I really wanted to be down to 235. Trying hard, we'll see!

    Okay so i just got done doing the 30 day shred which i havent done in forever and I am beat. lol. i also did the wii fit today. I know i will sleep great tonight, hopefully if the phen doesnt keep me up lol i only lost .2 lbs today so i busted but and worked out on and off all day long since i stay home with my daughter i figured what the heck... so we shall see what tomorrow brings. hope everyone had a good day as well.

    Default Good Evening Ladies (and Gents if out there :))

    My name is Christy and I'm from Indiana. I have a wonderful husband and daughter who is 19 months old now. I have always been heavy and even when I wasn't as big as I thought I was, it was never good. I'm truly looking to change my life and need HELP!!! I know this is what we all came here for, right!?!? I'm here to give as much as I can and hopefully will get the same! I have a LOT to lose and can use all the encouragement as I can get! My coworkers aren't good at helping me be consistent!! Now that one is preggo, that makes it even worse!!!

    I started back on Phen this morning. So far, so good! I have tried to add the "Flat Belly Diet" in with the phen to see how it goes. I know I didn't eat enough today, barely making it over 1000 cal's. Will certainly have to work on that. I don't feel hungry, so that's a plus! My workouts are consisting of the Wii Fit for now. I have a treadmill in my livingroom, but it doesn't get used much. I figured, with a toddler running around, I can do the Wii Fit and include her in it! She loves doing stuff with mom. I didn't do it tonight since my husband's in the livingroom watching WRESTLING..lol...but he's working late tomorrow, so I'll be able to do it! I also bought the Biggest Loser game to go along with it. So I need to break that out, as well!!!

    I'm so looking forward to finding a "place" to get to know new friends and help with whatever we can!!!

    Thanks ahead of time and can't wait to get started!!!!

    LOL..All I have to say is IUD!!! I have the Mirena and I don't really even get a period! It's GREAT!!! Once every few months I have bloating and such, but it's pretty much gone now!!! I'm so glad I got that done! It's much better then having to remember a pill every day!!! Sorry if TMI!!

    I know what you mean, breakfast is really difficult when it has to be on the run. I've heard that protein is best because it keeps you full and it's great to kick start the matabolism. What I have found for that is microwavable omlets. I get them from Wal-Mart or Schwans. Schwans are better but they are also more expensive. I mostly eat ceral for breakfast myself but the omlets are really good, fast and super easy! For snack or reallylight lunches I eat trail mix. I also eat it after exercise for the healthy protein. I'm not on a low/no carb diet or anything, I just know how good it is for muscles! I eat a lot of Healthy Choice or weight watchers meals for lunch too. For Dinner, my husband and son generally eat one thing and I just make myself something else. I try to get my son to eat the healthy things I do too some but I have only minimal success with that lol. hard to get a kid to eat healthy when all daddy eats is pizza! GRR! Well, hope I helped.     Margaret-YAY 4 bn a gemini! . I live in a small town as well-its really a college town so when school is out its dead around here. The bootcamp will b 2hrs on sat for 6 wks-tha one i went to in 08 we worked out for like an hour n a half then tha last 30 mins or so they talkd about nutrition. I loved it even tho it whooped my butt! But it was that lil push i needed at tht time to get tha ball rolling and i know that it will do tha same this go around.

    Sandie-I really dont have any good suggestions for food-as i havent really done a lot of shopping yet but if u go on sparkpeople they have a lot of recipes they look pretty good and most are pretty simple!

    Christy-I def feel ya on tha having a lot to lose part! It can be so daunting to think about but when i started getting back on this site one of the first post i seen was from Taz-she had lost over 120lbs last year-reading her story gave me so much drive to want to have that feeling she has now! Im already feeling the encouragement from all these wonderful ladies on here! I hope that u find that same encouragement-we are all in this together and if all of us continue to post on a regular basis 2010 will be our year!!!

    I had a slip up 2nite @ work--i had a bag of doritos--i was starving! I know wht the problem was i ate at about 12 went to work @ 3 and didnt eat again until my break @ 520--so 2moro-i need to eat more b4 work! Tha good thing was i didnt completely overdo it! 2moro is a new day!

    Hi Honey!! I know what you mean about seeing her 120 down! That's amazing!!! It's something to strive for, that's for sure!! Don't let one slip worry you! We're all going to slip once in a while!!! I'm worried about friday's at work because we always go out to eat at lunchtime!!! I don't know what I can have where! That just stresses me out! I need to sit down with my calorie book or on here and map out what I can have at different places!!! My one friend was supposed to be joining me, but I'm sure she's not. She's pretty much all talk when it comes to "dieting" her and her husband are too funny when they are "dieting." She'll cheat at lunch and usually so will he and a week later, they tell eachother. Goofballs!

    I was down 3 pounds this morning! I know it's all water weight at this point, but I'll take it!!! Nothing else really going on. Got my lunch packed and ready to go. Gonna go get my daughter up in a few minutes and get her ready to go and both of us eat breakfast.

    Thanx geminihoney and poisonivy u guys r so sweet!!! U will both b the big losers by next year at this time poisonivy just wanted to give u a few food ideas, if ur always rushed in the morning u can do protein shakes for breakfast! Protein is awesome anytime u need to eat ! I buy the whey protein at walmart it's in a big tub u just mix with milk in blender n it's yummy! Cookies n cream is my favorite! U can even make them the nite before so ur set to go in morning! As far as going out for dinner, just stick to healthy foods, such as salads and grilled or baked meats or fish! Even if u want to go to kfc just pull the fatty skin off chicken n eat the meat only! Same with mcdonalds eat the burger, cheese, and veggie ditch the bun I eat really good anyplace I go it's just a new life style change! Some other handy fast ideas are carry little baggies if nuts, string cheese, hard boiled eggs, sliced up veggies, beef jerky, sugar free jello with cool whip for desserts wrap up some turkey n cheese in lettuce leaf and take for lunchs! Or make a salad with veggies n turkey or chicken in it! Be careful eating those boxed dinners as they have tons of sodium in them and could cause u to gain fast! Just try to avoid the high carb foods anything white such as bread, potatoes , pasta , sugar! Those will make it impossible to lose weight! Hope this helps u some! U can do this girl! Don't let others control what u eat, b strong and do this for urself and in the end u will feel so proud of urself and b verrry happy taz

    Happy Tuesday everyone!

    I started TOM this morning, but was down two lbs so I cant complain.
    I was wondering how many of you are on adipex or phen? I was taking phen the first 2 months but then wanted to try the name brand to see if there was a difference. For me there was, starting with the price!!!! GEEZ it is way more lol, but my Cotton mouth came back, I have more energy than I did with phen, sleepless nights(I did not have that with phen either), and not hungry. To me I see a difference. I did loose 30 lbs on phen so I know it works. Just wondered which one you guys take??

    FAB- I take 37.5 phen and I have cotton mouth, headache, dizziness sometimes, sleepless nights like crazy and TMI for this one, but the all-to-lovely squirts whenever I eat a full meal...sorry Oh and I have absolutely NO APPETITE.

    POISONIVY- Welcome!! I started out at 249.6 last wednesday and I am down 10lbs in less than a week so u can do this!! I have tried MANY TIMES to "diet" but I had the wrond mind-set to lose weight..I just wanted to lose weight fast and keep my regular bad habits, but that was stupid lol Now, I dont beat myself up for losing only.2lbs here or nothing there and I eat what I want just in moderation...and Taz said something about a piece of Turkey and chz wrapped in lettuce...it probably doesnt SOUND good but it really is!! lol I think bread actually takes away from the flavor..same goes with a mcdy's burger..take away the bun, and u gotta a yummy burger with veggies..you can do this Good Luck!

    RYRY- Sorry u keep getting headaches so bad r u taking anything for them? Mine arent "BAD" per-say but I am hoping they will go away after the 1st wk or 2 like they normally do...MUAH! luv ya!

    So, I lost another .4lbs today and I TRIED to get up to do my wii fit this morning, but I was too sore from last night lol so I will do it this afternoon and then when the kids go to bed, I will do my 30 day shred again...GOOD MORNING LADIES!!!

    Poisonivy - welcome girl!!! Personally, I eat my biggest meal in the morning for breakfast and it usually consists of healthy cereal/or oatmeal, piece of fruit, and sometimes a protein bar, but a lot of times i'll wait until I get to work before eating my protein bar. Then the rest of my meals are small, especially dinner since I am winding down after that.

    Fabulous - My pharmacy was out of the phentermine generic brand when I got a new prescription this month and so I ended up getting the name brand. Well, it was only $5.00 more for me at Walgreens and I do notice a big difference. I still have some left of the generic brand, because I wanted to try out the adipex and see the difference. However, the generic never gave me a headache and the adipex is giving me horrible headaches. And as Tex said, I am getting some major diahhrea on adipex, whereas on the generic I wasn't. I mean I am literally in tears at night time, which seems to be the only time I get the headaches.

    Tex - Congrats on your .4lb weightloss! That's awesome.

    Good morning all,

    I did it again, got up in the middle of the night and had some sugar free cookies and a glass of milk. What is up with that? Jeez. It's really annoying. Yesterday I didn't take the phen, I felt ok, I ate good while at work, drank all my water, and even ran. I got home and didn't do too terrible, but I did munch on some things that I fixed for the kids. Needless to say, I had too many calories. My goal is to stick around 1400.

    The only exercise I do is running for 30-45 mins. during my lunch hour. I would like to do more when I get home or in the morning, but I haven't found the willingness to do it. My schedule isn't too hectic, but I am a single mom that works 40 hours per week. When I get home, I fix supper and most of the time veg out in front of the tv. I would really like to be more active in the evenings.

    What are ya'lls schedules like and please share tips on what you do in the evenings, or even in the morning before you start your day?

    Good Mornin Everyone BRRRRR its soooo cold this morning in TX I don't even want to think about next winter in KY at fort campbell lol I'll be freezin to death... I miss Hawaii!!!! Did wii fit last nite and am doin major house cleanin today! Gotta get it all sparkly before the hubby comes home in a couple weeks.... GAH WISH IT WAS TOMORROW HAHA!

    Christy-This whole thing is def a learning process-so im def trying not to get to hung up on my slipups but recognize wht i did wrong and change it! I think its a great idea to plan ahead for when u go out tht way you already know wht u r going to have and wont b as tempted to eat tha wrong things!

    To all tha Wii fit users u all encourage me as well! I def hafta get me one!

    Leave it to you Ms to comment about the squirts lol I have had such bad headaches on the phen this week and im not sure why. I drink at least 80-90 oz of water a day and im eating. I just wish they would go away. So id stayed the same this morning. I didnt gain so that is a plus. I am hoping that tomorrow i will see the scale move a little at least.

    Good Job TEX! Before you know it your gonna be back down to the 190's!

    I have been super busy since the new year started and have not had time to post. I re-started my Phen yesterday and did good all day. I ate healthy and feel much better already. Its amazing that what you eat reflects how we feel but its so true! I have not started the work outs yet but will tonight. I am shooting for 5 days a week for 30-40 mins starting out. I will increase each week till I get up to 60 mins. I am actually starting a local weight loss challenge that starts Saturday. It goes for 6 months and I am determined to make a run for the win! I am excited to get this going. I am ready to live again and not be a couch potato! New year new me!

    MSMIL- I swear, u r crazy...lmao...Lets just keep talking about my squirts so EVERYBODY knows lol soooo embarrassing but its true and I would have posted on that ONE subject too if someone else had posted it lol

    JUSTARANDOMGIRL- ur schedule is a breeze compared to mine! lol I have to get up, get the kids ready for school and myself, get them OFF to school and then I have to rush to school, then rush to work, then rush to pick the kiddos up from school, then get them home and fed and to karate and do MY homework/study and the kids homework, get showers done for everyone and get them off to bed AND ensure that I get my wii fit and 30 day shred in somewhere too lmao If I can do it, u can too Its a matter of motivation. If u really want to exercise more then u will. Get a wii if u dont already have one...a treadmill? workout dvds? exercise can be a family affair too so u can make it fun...Its possible, u just gotta tell urself that its gonna happen, or else its not. Set days and times that u MUST do ur exercise by so u can hold urself accountable...once u get going, it will be easy for you...Good Luck!

    So I just had a Fresca Taco from Taco Bell and YUCK! lol I HATE cilantro!! lol everything else was good on it though lol

    GEMINI- u seriously have to get a Wii!! lol u would have so much fun on it! Having friendly competitions with family and friends and especially bf's can be a lot of fun!! lol Im going to buy a couple more weight games here shortly...I love it
