    Hey girls!

    Its been a crazy day here! My kiddos were invited to an indoor pool party today, and it was wild. The kids were packed in there! I was so scared to get on the scale this morning because I had a girls night last night and drank some wine. It was pretty high calorie! BUT I lost 2 pounds

    Yea baby! Yea! Down another .9lbs to 203.7lbs!! SOOOO CLOSE!!!! I am DYING to see 199lbs!! Im going crazy over these last few pounds cuz Im so close! lmao ugh!!

    So for the past 3 days I had not exercised at all, but last night I tried to run for 20min on the wii. I didnt bust a** running on it though cuz I wanted to ensure that I didnt start coughing, but I managed to make it the whole 20mins without coughing, so I am going to try either the Just Dance Wii game today or the Hip Hop dvd today and see how that goes...So, I am starting to see a pattern. EVERY time I use a laxative of some kind (i.e. pills, mag, enema) I will drop weight that first day, but then AFTER that I will gain and have trouble losing for the next few days after that and THEN all of a sudden I will drop a good chunk of weight again. Like I am now. I did the lovely enema thing last wknd and dropped then gained and couldnt lose for the life of me until friday and now I have dropped 4.4lbs in 3 days...Im not complaining lol but Im sick of these darn side effects! lol ughhhh! I have been trying the new Dulcolax Balance which is a powder that u put in ur water glass and its tasteless. within a few days of taking it u will finally go and I have been able to go the past 2 days straight so I might stick with this product instead of those obnoxious other ones! lolol

    KRYS & RYRY- You know what Im going to say...hehe 3.8lbs to go to ONDERLAND for me!!! But...to your guys defense, you guys are kickin butt too! You are making me squirm every day! lmao Keep it up! I love a good competition!

    ryleighsmommy15---- I live in Custer Park, its over by Wilmington, Braidwood. Its a small town in the boonies..LOL. Lived out here almost 3 years and i hate it!! I hate driving 25 minutes to go to a Walmart or target or even a jewel. Pretty much i spend my days playing with my two kids since there really isnt much out here..

    So yesterday i woke up feeling good, worked out four days in a row. Had a yogurt and banana for breakfast. But then ended up going to my husbands cousins house. On our drive there me and the family where snacking on beef jerky (i know its horrible in sodium, but the protein is good).. Then waited forever to have dinner over there. But they made chili dogs, so i had one hot dog with no bun with a lil bit of chili and i made a salad. So i had salad with no salad dressing, a few french fries and that was it. I drank a TON of water, but also had 2 or 3 glasses of wine. Here's the horrible part. When we finally got back home, the hubby and i pigged out.. I ended up eating half milky way, a peanut butter twix, and a kit kat bar... Ughhh.. then since we stayed up until after 2am, i think i had a couple pieces of beef jerky, 3 doritos, a couple chesse puffs.. I had such taste for something but didnt know what, so i was testing everything to see if it would end my snack cravings... Nothing worked. So in the end, i felt horrible, threw it all up drank some water and went to bed. I feel like a crazy women. whenever i eat something thats not good for me, i get all done on myself. The husband says that i'm too hard on myself. So now today i have to try to eat healthy and workout...

    Okay so i weighed in and Im down .7 which brings me to 178.1 and close to 4 lbs lost this week. I am so hoping to see the scale say 177 for weigh in tomorrow. That brings me to about 7 lbs left to go in our challenge. Im okay with that tho because I have not been in the 170s in ummm yeah that long. lol. Keep it up TEX and Krys your doing AWESOME

    Jessica- Your not that far from me. I would say like 30-45 mins. Im actually in Sandwich, which is a small town too but I love it. I dont feel that i have to worry about my daughter and gangs, drive bys and all that crap like you do in a big city. But I hate driving 45 mins to the mall lol thank goodness yorkville is getting more populated cuz that is only 15 mins away and they have kohls and some other stores.

    TEX- I cant believe how well you are doing this week. I think these little challenges are what we need. keep it up butt head

    ryleighsmommy15, I know where Sandwich is.. Dont get me wrong i love not worrying about the gangs and all that too. But i've lived in Orland Park, Oak Forest and Frankfort and all those places have everything within miles. I mean i sure dont miss all the traffic from out that way, but i really dont have anyone out here. I used to live 10 minutes from my twin sister so we would go walking all the time together, but now that i live out here NO ONE visits. And it gets aggravating when i always have to drive to other peoples houses to get some adult contact. And at other peoples houses you have to worry about the kids touching their things, etc. SO to me its not worth my aggravation. I think most of my depression is from not living close to friends and family. But once it gets nice out again maybe i will get enough energy to play with my kids. But i'm even too self concious to play in my own backyard. (i know pathetic) Anyways, Congrats on your weight loss.. Any little bit helps to reach your goal

    I so don't want to update my weight if its going to be like what its been these last few days ugh. So today I'm drinking a lot of water and staying away from the sweets and junk. Blah. Even though it's chilly today I think I'm going to take my doggie on a walk. I need exercise and I need fresh air. Sigh

    Jessica- I know how you feel. I live near all of my family. I would go nuts tho if I lived far from them. My sisters are at my house almost everyday and my oldest sis is trying to lose weight to so it makes it a little easier. It really helps when you have the support. I use to live in hanover park and I know what you mean about things being right there. I guess its okay tho cuz it saves me money lol at least i cant go shopping everyday

    Christy- Its kind of chilly here today, but a walk sounds like a good idea. Dont worry about the scale your doing great.

    Wow RY and TEX, way to go ladies!! Congrats on being SO close to your goals! =)

    So I dared not step on the scale today, since tomorrow morning is my official week one weigh in, wish me luck girls!!!! I feel pretty good about it, I ate clean all week, and got several good workouts in. Today I spent 6 hrs painting my house with a less than awesome paint roller that I had to push on really really hard to get even distribution. LOL I was sweating a grunting so it classifies as a work out in my book.

    Easter challenge results are very motivating, and I can't wait to see who makes their goals! ( I think you all will).

    TEX - I think you are on track with that dulcolax, I have heard that enemas are really not supposed to be used all the time. So good idea trying to keep something in u that will get you going more often. Let me know how it works! Luckily, I haven't had that side effect yet. Just a bunch of dry mouth.

    I have been thinking about getting some Shakeology, ( a nutrition shake sold by beachbody ) - but it is pretty expensive. Do you guys drink protien or nutritional shakes for breakfast, or before/after workouts? Just curious.

    Again, wish me luck tomorrow - official week one weigh in....

    Hello Ladies! I am really slacking on this easter challange I have got to get back into to gear, theres no better time to start then tomarrow morning! So I will be posting my following days exercise list, and the result of the previous day! SO PLEASE PLEASE HOLD ME ACCOUNTABLE
    So my easter goal weight was supose to be 151 and I am currently 170 that leaves me with 19lbs left to lose in 3wks, I don't think that I can accomplish that but if I get into the 150s which is accomplishable Ill be ecstatic!! I havent taken my phen in over a month so I am going to start taking them tomarrow and try to deal with the horriable mood swings that they cause me to have....
    TEx, RY, and Krys WOW !!! You girls mean bussiness when it comes to challanges! Keep it up

    TEX- Thanks for the advice and motivation! So since I know that your well honestly blunt lol which is a great thing I'll look forward to you let in me have it if I dont follow through with my daily exercises...

    Shawn- maybe a smaller challenge is what you need? Doing it for a month can sometimes be hard and if you set smaller goals most of the time it is easier to reach. There is no way I will meet my easter goal but im okay with it. I know i have tried my hardest this month. I still have 15.2 lbs to go in the easter challenge.

    Im not feeling so good this morning. Stomach is cramping really bad.I sure hope im not getting sick and that i can get in a good workout.

    Hi everyone, my name is Michelle and I just started taking phen yesterday. I did previously take it for a couple months a year and a half ago with success but I put back all the weight on and then some. I am so glad that I found this site. Its really encouraging reading others stories and successes I have my 10 year high school reunion in just under 3 months and I am trying to lose at least 30 pounds by then. I was very athletic and in shape in high school and although I have had a child, I dont want to go to my reunion super fat Anyway I cannot wait to start this journey and I hope to make a few friends along the way

    All I can say is WHOA! I don't come by here for two and a half days and I feel like everyone has had a million updates except me!!!!

    Jessica - Welcome, and congrats on getting started back on weightloss. Seems like you've had an up and down journey in many areas of life lately. I am sure it's made you a lot stronger! Also, a big CONGRATS on quitting smoking. My dad died of lung cancer when he was 48 and I was 17 and it really turned my life upside down when I lost him, so I am very very very proud of you for that! I know that prednisone has made several of my firends gain weight, but I think prednisone and phentermine kind of cancel each other out with regards to weightloss/gain. Have you been exercising a lot? You mentioned you only lost like 1 or 2lbs in the last month or so.

    FierceMama - Can't wait to see your progress as you begin your weightloss journey!!!

    MichMont - Wow, a 10 year high school reunion - I'd be totally nervous. I'm excited for you though. I can't wait for you to go back and say, yeah here I am everyone stare I know I'm hot!....haha =) Just kidding. Well, we will be here with you as you are on this journey!

    Tosh - Thanks for the comment with regards to men. As for the shoes, I am a total high heel shoe freek. However, I love boots too, but since I don't ride anymore I don't really wear boots anymore. I haven't road a horse in over 10 years and I'd probably be scared to get on one now!!! I mean, they say it's like riding a bike you never forget...but I woudln't know since it's been so long. So, I will totally be getting some high heels - since that's what I wear at work. =) Sounds like the outfit you'll be wearing to Gary Allen will be cute!!!! You and your husband sound so cute together.


    Ryleigh - I'm so sorry to hear your stomach is hurting. Man, that stinks. Try to do some stretching in your stomach/back/side and see if that might help ease the pain some.

    Shawn - You will totally make it on the 19lbs. It's going to be hard and you will have to kick some butt, but I have faith in you.

    Christy - Yes, even if it's chilly take the doggie for a walk. I'm sure he/she will love it and even though you may not want to - once you actually get out there and get back it makes you feel sooo much better that you actually did it!!!

    Tex - DANG GIRL! You are doing awesome. Yeah, I probably should have told you that I was worried about your working out, but I also knew you were determined and you wouldn't listen so I just figured it would have been wasted words. I was only worried cause I had seen it happen to a few of my friends who had lost weight rapidly and they got asthma and lost a lot of their hair from losing weight too quickly. You are doing an awesome job and you are soooo close to onderland I am super duper excited for you!!!



    Ok, so this weekend I didn't do workout videos or anything,b ut I worked out in other ways. It was so gorgeous all weekend long that my 16 month old and I were outside most of Saturday afternoon and Sunday afternoon. Saturday morning I spent the morning cleaning the house top to bottom and that in itself is a good workout. I clean every Saturday morning, but once a month or so I do an "intense" cleaning. So that's what I did. Then we went to the park and went joggings with the jogging stroller and climbed up and down the park playground and she just learned how to go down the slide by herslef so we would climb up and slide down over and over. Then we jogged back to our car. Sunday, went to church, then watched some tv while she took a nap and then we went outside and she played with the two next door neighbor's kids that are 3 and 4. They had fun chasing her around, but then they would get really far up the street and she doesn't get the concept of coming back to us so I would have to chase after her. Fortunately, Sundays there's no one on the road and we live in the very back of the neighborhood so there's no one driving on our street anyways. I don't know what I did over the last two days, but I know I worked somthing out hard cause my butt and my thighs hurt!!! When I tried to get out of bed this morning I was creeking like an old rusty door!!! I haven't lost any weight I am at 197, but I just got off of TOM today too. So, not quite sure how accurate that is from weighing on Sunday.

    Weight this morning was 225.4, that means 7.6 pounds lost in my first week, YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Thanks for all your help ladies! I cannot express how good it feels to FINALLY see that number go down instead of up. *huge sigh*

    Dang, an extremely horrible week turned into an amazing week for me! I lost ANOTHER .9lbs today bringing me to 202.8lbs!! Thats 5.3lbs this week! holy heck! how did I do that!!?? lol I could be in onderland this week ladies if I dont mess up! lol

    HONEY- honestly, u are one of the most highly respected ppl on here, so I would have LISTENED to your advice/opinion, and I would NOT have been "who the f*** cares what u think" to u either, but that isnt to say I would have calmed down with my exercise lol The way you come across to ppl is sweet and inviting and comforting, not bossy, rude or whatever else u can think of so Im sure anyone on here would love to hear what u had to say whether they take the advice or not ok? including myself

    SHAWN- I hope u dont think I am blunt in a bad way that would make me feel bad! lol I would never mean to hurt anybody's feelings on here. I just know that the only way to get thru to a LOT of ppl, is to tell it like it is...whether they want to hear it or not ya know?? Thats me too, thats why I just told HONEY to tell me when something is on her mind! lol I NEED to hear it sometimes too! Anyways, just post one days exercise at a time, that way you dont have to cancel any exercise on another day becuz u ran into something else you had to do or what-not u know? Post todays becuz u know what u r going to be doing today k? You can do this...And Im not going to be tuff on u for not doing it, its supposed to make u more determined to do what u say u r going to do so that u dont feel like u failed "us" or anything. Im sure u are just like me and would NOT want to get back on here and say "hey gang! I didnt exercise like I said I was going to!" things do come up and we all understand that, but if its an every day thing, then u know whats gotta change right? you got this shawn!

    So I'm 143 this morning. I could cry because I know it's all my fault. Ugh. I did go on a walk with my dog, but he's such a turd it wasn't fun or long at all. I need to socalize him more with other dogs other then our Dachshund and take him on walks more often because he fought me a lot and was just generally way too excitible. Oh well.

    My hubby leaves today so I'll be able to eat a little better and work out more I think. I'm going to start going back to working out at naptime and after bed. Blah. Today's a ****y monday. boo

    Good afternoon everyone!

    Well, I am up a pound this morning I was afraid that would happen. I had THREE birthday parties this weekend. I did pretty good though. I had a small piece of cake yesterday, but it had loads of icing. I did the hip hop abs last night for workout, so I think that helped. It had the potential to be more than one pound. So, thats 8 more pounds till onederland!

    This is the smallest I have been in 5 years! So, I am just even more motivated to get to my goal!

    RY and TEX: This is fun LOL! Even though I am not winning, it makes me think all day long about what I am eating and doing because I know I have you two doing the same thing! You are both doing great

    TEX: Holy smokes...what the heck are you doing??? Ok, spill it girl! There must be SOMETHING different you have done in the last 4/5 days. You are doing awesome!

    Honey: Glad you have nice weather! I am so jealous...its been yucky and rainy here for days.

    Shawn: Glad you are going to post your updates here. I think thats easier anyway. Its really hard to keep track of more than one thread How do you like "the wave"? I was watching an infomercial on it the other day.

    Christy: I know what you mean about being focused when hubby is away. When my husband is on thirds, I do better too. I eat so much less when I only cook for myself and the kiddos.

    Christy - You know what, the first step to fixing something is acknowledging you have something to fix. I'm sorry the walk wasn't very fun at all. My dogs are not very well socialized either except with each other so I completely understand where you are coming from with regards to that. The only way to get them socialized is by getting them out there. What are you planning on doing today for your exercises? It's a Monday so it's a new week and I have faith that you will kick butt his week!!! Just think of it being a new day and a new beginning of the week for a new YOU. I'll kick some butt with you when I get home from work and we can report back here.

    Tex - You are too sweet. Saying I'm a respected member of the community made my day and I really appreciate that, but I am just a person here like the rest of us trying to lose the evil half of me (the fat part of me). haha Thanks anyways, for the sweetness. You are definitely someone that EVERYONE on this board can look up to in all you've accomplished. I know I look up to you and how inspiring you are. And I am so incredibly happy that you took a couple days rest and WOW you came back with avengeance!!! Amen to that sista!!! I figured out what part of my problem was with regards to actually "working out" hardcore like I was it's because my workout buddy and I have been on opposite schedules for almost a month and I am pretty sure that had something to do with it. However, today we're back on track and starting back up so that gives me a lot more motivation having that person to answer to and workout with everyday. Oh, and don't ever worry about you being blunt it's what you are and it's a great thing. Sometimes people just need that extra UMPH!



    I don't know about you guys, but I am a total chocolate NUT while TOM is visiting. And this past week has been HORRIBLE for that. I only eat dark chocolate, but even a good thing is bad when eaten too much. I don't get it either because TOM started way early for me. I am supposed to start the 18th - 20th and I don't know if it's my weightloss or what, but I ended up starting on the 10th! That's just crazy. And what's even more weird is my babysitter started a week early and then I started a week early....weiiird.



    To hold me accountable here's my plan when I get home:

    Go bike riding w/ bike trailer and my daughter for at least 30 minutes
    Do workout video w/ workout buddy when she comes over after work

    And this is extra if I am able to get to it:
    Do one section of the strength training video from Biggest Loser, but not sure if I will have time
    11/10/09 = 235.5

    04/15/10 = 190
    11/1/10 = 175

    Started Phen again, just finishing up last bottle:
    02/21/2011 = 186
    03/01/2011 = 184
    Goal by May 31st = 165, kind of a big jump, but we will see....

    Krys - You know we just have to take each second of everyday as it comes. It's a battle every second of everyday and based on what we do or the choices we make will determine the outcome. Now, the good thing about that? Is that even if we make a bad choice (like me eating chocolate all week!!!) then I know that as soon as it's over I have plenty more chances to get back on the wagon. Remember, it's OK to indulge in a little birthday cake every once in a while as long as we don't make it a habit. How do you like the HIp Hop Abs? Are you keeping your abs tight? I love that DVD.

    TEX - It feels great to see the scale in the 177 BUT at the same time I still see myself as that fat girl ya know. I know i still have a long way to go but i have lost over 40 lbs and Im not sure why I still look at myself this way. Does anyone else feel the same way?

    So I went thru my closet and got rid of all my fat clothes this week I was sick of seeing them in my closet. Now I have hardly any clothes left to wear lol

    Ryleigh - I am excited that I am under 200, but I still feel like the "fat" girl too! I am right there with you. I cleaned out my fat clothes a couple weeks ago and I need to go and drop them off at the Christian Community Storehouse, but they jsut sit in a bag staring at me right now. I think that's another thing I might do today while i'm at it!!! All my friends are like 150- or under and so with me next to them I feel like a fat cow...it stinks. I have two friends who are around the same size as me, but when a majority of the people I am around are skinny it's frustrating at times.

    Im right there with you RY! I can totally SEE that Im sooo much smaller than I was a couple months ago, BUT I am still fat So Im happy as heck, but sad still that its going to take so much more from me just to be really happy with myself.

    I just had lunch with my boss and I had a Chicken Club sandwhich w/ a side salad. I could only eat half the sandwhich so I gave the other half to a co-worker so I think I did relatively well today Go me!! lol

    Honey- I haven't really wanted to do anything today. haha My husband left today and I'm just a little mopey. It's nice out today tho so I might just walk around in circles with my kids (my youngest loves being pulled in the wagon around the circle we have on our road haha. I might try to get a workout in after the kids go to bed though.

    Honeybaby--- Yes its been and up and down battle for me, i have my good days and bad. But trying my hardest to push my self forward and concentrate and being happy again. My dad too died of lung cancer, it was on August 14, 2005. I was daddy's girl so pretty much since then its been difficult for me. When i get depressed i think about him, and thats when i start to eat. My dad had 4 girls and he was so excited when i had his first grandchild and it was a boy. All he could talk about was playing football and everything with him. My son was 10 months when my dad died, so my father never got to do the things he always wanted to do. SO every day i look at my kids (which i have two boys now) i think of how excited my dad would of been and i get sad because my second son never got to meet him. Ok, tears are coming, so thats enough on that... On to a better topic... LOL
    I have been on phentermine for the last two months, but i wasnt really working out or eating perfect. But since i joined all this. I have worked out the last 5 out of six days. And i actually did 75 minutes str8 on the treadmill tonight. So i'm feeling good. My weigh in is on Wed. so i will see if i have lost anything.. I am determined to lose this weight with or without the phentermine. I have two weddings to attend to, one in May and one in October so i really want to be able to wear something sexy to these weddings instead of always hiding from the camera's. Plus my ten year highschool reunion is this year also, not sure if i will attend it or not. But still i can use that as one of my motivations to lose this weight
    Well time for bed for me, hubby just got home... BTW, Congrats to all you ladies on your weight loss. Keep up the good work!!!!!

    haha My weight loss streak is over ladies! lol It was good while it lasted though hehe I am UP .2lbs today which is totally OK with me...that is such a small amount that Im not bothered by it. I will have it gone by tomorrow's weigh-in! lol So Im up to 203lbs...KRYS and RYRY this is ur time to come up from behind and smack me in the a**! lmao

    I was able to do a 30min run yesterday and about 30min of the hip hop dvd...I skipped one of the dances so Instead of doing all 44mins of it, I did around 30-35min...

    Good Morning ladies.. So I was down .2 this morning bringing me to 177.7! It seems like I am losing such small numbers now. Its okay tho as long as it is still going down. Hopefully tomorrow I will make it to 177.5 lol.

    I worked out yesterday, but I didn't do the video. My daughter and I were outside for a couple of hours running around. That is a good workout in itself! Trying to keep up with her is fun. So we were outside running around and riding the bike for a couple hours then came inside and I chased her around. I need to lift some weights for sculpting though so I'm going to do that today and the workout video since it's raining outside.

    Today i am going to try the 30 day shred. Eek! I would love to be able to do it again so we'll see if it makes me sick or not.

    I also need to start taking my pill regularly again but since they are my last pills I'm like hoarding them for a rainy day haha.

    Hey Ladies! Sorry I didnt get to post my results of exercises last night , I had a baby nephew born hes a CUTIE
    Heres what I said I would do I am going to do the 30 day shred , trouble zones, 50 sit-ups, and 30 mins of the wave! And drank ONLY water

    This is what I did : 30 day shred, 15 mins of trouble zones, 50-sit-ups, and 30 mins of wave but I did have a glass of cherry 7 -up....
    And I felt great afterwards Today I am going to do the same exercises.

    Tex- No your not blunt in a bad way, its a good thing. and dang girl you lost alot of weight the last two weeks! Thats amazing!

    Ry- You are so not the "fat girl" You look amazing Think of how far you have came

    Krys- the wave is ok , one of the instructors on some of the dvds talks and goes so fast that its really hard to keep up and I get aggravated lol but let me use it this week and give you what I think then cuz I have only used it twice.

    Honey- Thanks you for the confidence in me , I need that !

    Well I am off to the hospital to see that baby boy, and then some exercise! You ladies are amazing!

    Hey everyone!!!
    had a busy busy weekend hadn't had a chance to hop on here...well Saturday I was down to 177...havent weighed since cause I went to the rodeo that night and had more than a few drinks and Im afraid i was probably up so I want to really really work this week and be back down. No more drinking for awhile for me I felt waaay too bad on Sunday but had an awesome time!!! Going to work out today when I get home and drink all my water, i didn't drink hardly any on Sunday or yesterday which is highly unusual for me so I gotta hop back on and get in gear!!!! hope you ladies have a fabulous day!!!!!!!

    Okay so I decided to use my ipod when i workout today and It works so much better that way lol Instead of listening to them on the tape, I just turn on my ipod.

    I still have to try and get the hip hop dvd and biggest loser dvd in tonight and hope that i dont gain in the morning since hubby wants pasta for dinner tonight. I will be happy if i just stay the same tomorrow.
