    HopefulHeather - I know you don't talk on here as much as you were, but you really are a great motivation! And you give great advice. Thanks so much for all of your help. You are an encouragement to me and of course you look great!



    On another note, Ok so when I take adipex I normally will split the pill in half since when I first took it the effects wore off mid-day. So I would take one about 2 hours after breakfast and another aorund 1pm. Welll, today I wasn't thinking and took the whole pill. Dude, I feel very jittery. I forgot what it was like to take the whole thing at once. But, I thought it was supposed to be time released?

    So I had a bad night last night I got my boys Mcdy's and even though I didnt get myself anything, I DID manage to eat some of their fries and then that turned into pringles, and sweets and more! ughhh Meaning, the scale went up 1.3lbs today..grrrrrr thats what I get though! So today I am back on track and working hardcore cuz I have a goal to meet in like 4-5 days!! YIKES! lol Its been a crazy day for me...and I just want to relax...I have so much stuff to do, but NO TIME to do it...I cant wait till this semester is over...

    TEX - Girl, you are doing great. It's ok to slip up and have some of that bad food every once in a while. It's when you make it a lifestyle habit of eating junk that is bad! One day out of many is nothing! Don't beat yourself up about it. We are so proud of how good you've been doing! Just get back on track and report back on how you are doing!

    Hello ladies. Well last night im not sure what happend but when i weighed in this morning and i was a lb heavier. I busted butt working out and ate pretty healthy so i wasnt sure what caused my weight gain. So today i weighed in at 194.9 So today I am busting butt to drop this pound i gained. Hope all of you are having a great day/week and keep up the great work.

    had a good workout today!
    going to try and do atleast some type of exercise everyday
    going to walk, do my dvd and/or go to the gym
    I gotta get back on track and going to do whatever i gotta do to get to my goal weight
    ( and focus on toning arms and stomach )

    Ry--sounds like you're gaining a bit of muscle mass in the toning department-keep on trucking!!

    Hopeful- I agree with Honeybaby, you're definitely an inspirational motivation through your transformation. I hope to see more when you post as far as ideas, suggestions, and help challenge you in reaching your goal as well. I have no doubt that you're going to make your goal!!

    Donise--Good job on getting the wheels turning

    [B]So today was a rough day preceded by a really rough night/wee hour of the morning. Got a pretty rough phone call from my boyfriend concerning the girls and needless to say, I felt pretty much sick to my stomach all day today. I tried to channel some of the emotion into my morning workout, but it was still tough. I'm emotionally and physically exhausted....not to mention that since I got home late I still didn't get my laundry done (The pile's getting pretty scary)
    For now I can only pray that things get better. I'm going to try and get a little sleep before I have to hop on the spin bike in the morning. Keep up the good progress, folks!! [B]
    First official weigh in:
    01/26/2010: -10 lbs down to 270!! Woohoo!

    This isn't about looking pretty, this is about life. I'm going to do what ever it takes to live a happy and healthy lifestyle. Come walk with me on this road if you like, your company will always be welcome

    Good morning all.

    Ryleigh - I agree with Amber it does sound like you toning up a bit. That's what has been happening to me I'll go up and down up and down, but then I notice inches falling off of me and that I am getting more toned. (there are less dimples in the back of my thighs!!! woo hoo!) Keep up the awesome work!

    Donise - You are doing absolutely awesome! Glad you are doing some awesome working out!

    Amber - Sounds like you DID have a rough day/night. I'm sorry to hear that some things are going on and I hope you get it all sorted out. You did right by trying to channel the negative into your work out, but sometimes when we are consumed by stress it just doesn't work.



    Well, I had a great couple nights. I mean I've been working my booty off and eating right. I have noticed that since I replaced one of my mini meals with a Zone Perfect all natural bar and instead of eating just a piece of fruit when I get home I have a whey protein shake w/ couple strawberries and blueberries that the weight has really been falling off this week. I wish I would have done that to begin with!!! I also think having that extra protein really helps since we are tearing our muscles up by working out everyday. I only rest on Sundays and even then I walk a lot so my body needs help rejuvinating itself. Anyhow, I am down to 208. That means in the last two days I have lost 2lbs!!!!!!!! And I honestly think that the shake and bar have contributed to that a lot. Well, and I changed up my cardio/sculpting routine. I upped my cardio to 1 hour instead of doing half and half. And then I added 15 minutes of sculpting. And now, when I walk I do a jog/walk/jog/walk. So I've put my body into shock mode I guess.


    It's great to see how awesome other people are doing! Keep it up all of you.


    On another note - if you guys watched the Biggest Loser the other day it said when you are overly stressed or holding in emotions you hold onto your water weight. So you should actually overcome what's going on in your life rather than pent it up, because what's going on in your life and your emotions are a part of the weightloss journey too!

    HONEY- Im so glad you said what u did in ur last post about stress and emotions keeping u from losing cuz Im sooo discouraged right now and sad

    I just wanna cry...Ok, I am crying lol This sux...I ate realllllly good yesterday, exercised really good and somehow GAINED 2.2lbs for a total GAIN of 3.5lbs in 2 days...WTF!?! I swear I didnt cheat yesterday so why did it go up!!?? I am not on TOM, cuz I dont get them anymore so what gives?? My calorie and fat intake were very good yesterday, but my salt may have been a little on the higher side so I guess it could be that...idk Im just so p1ssed this is happening...right when I needed to lose the most too So just in case it IS the salt making me retain, Im gonna drink heavily on the water today and then mix up my exercise tonite by doing the shred and taebo AND run 2 30min runs on the wii...if THAT doesnt make me lose, then somethings wrong! I am highly stressed right now though becuz of school and work and my kids and now I have to add my car to the stress list becuz it is acting up and right now it is in the shop so we can figure out just exactly what is wrong with it..I just had my cat declawed so Im stressed about her and I feel bad doing that to her so thats added weight to my shoudlers...I promise I wont give up, but Im just very sad this is happening right now and I need to break out of this funk somehow..I just dont know how right now...Thanx for listening

    tex- goodness girl you are stressed! I would say it's definately water weight! Don't forget your muscles retain water too so all that working out could be making your muscles hold water! There's no way you are working that hard and not benefitting from it! Nope.. not buying it You'll come through, just keep on pushing. And don't be so hard on yourself!

    You declawed your kitty?? Be careful! My sister had one of her cats declawed and it got outside one day and they couldn't find it right away and it got killed b/c it couldn't climb to get away from a dog I'd sure like to get my cats claws taken out though lol my big black one likes to dig his claws in my shoulder every time I pick him up! I'm living with my fiance now though and he won't let me have a cat last night when I got home from the gym, this gorgeous gray and white cat was on my porch!!! It came walking up to me and rubbing against my legs. I bent down and petted it and it rolled around and purred and I melted! It followed me to the door like it wanted inside and I wasn't going to deny that but as soon as my little dog seen it and started barking, the kitty ran off! I don't think it's homeless because it's sooo pretty and fat. If I can't have one there, I can at least spoil someone elses right haha. I left some ham out on the porch for it.

    Put some lemon juice in your water!! It really works well for me getting out that extra water bc i always retain it!

    Good morning ladies.. So today i weighed in at 194.4 , so i lost .5 lbs of the .9 i gained the other day. I hope it goes down tomorrow. I know i am toning at the same time but I just hate seeing the scale go up any. Plus I am really having a problem with going to the bathroom. The doctor told me to take mirilax (dont know if i spelled that right ) every day and i should have no more problems. So hopefully... we will see. Well gotta go do my wii then get ready for the eye doc.

    Tex - I totally agree w/ Southern. There's NO WAY that you are working out religiously and eating so good and that you actually "gained weight". I mean, the scale might have said it but I am 100% sure that your body doesn't show that you gained that bit of weight. I bet anything it is water weight or it's your muscles toning up. Girl, you are doing great so don't forget that! The water w/ lemon really works I have to remember to do that!!! I LOVE water with lemon. Anyhow, you are kicking butt and taking names so don't get discouraged because of a little influx in weight when most likely it's either water or muscles!!!

    Ryleigh - YAY! You are doing awesome. I'm so glad you lost that .5. We are naturally going to go up and down in weight throughout the week so you are doing really awesome.

    I declawed my kitty after I adopted him from the humane society. Do you guys realize how hard it is to find the kitty to adopt there? They are all so sweet and I don't want any of them to be euthenized!~!! So, I ended up picking the kitty that had been in the pound the longest. It shows the date of when they came in so I picked him. He wasn't the "prettiest", but he sure is a sweetheart. He even lets my daughter roll all over him and pat him and love on him. She gives him kisses and it's so cute! He's so patient w/ her. Anyhow, when he got declawed I felt SOO bad. he was whining and didn't want to step on his two front feet because of the bandages. And of course having to use the bathroom with newspaper ****ed and it stank worse than using kitty litter. Anyhow, after about 5 days he was fine.

    Good Morning Ladies -
    I have to thank you all!! I adjusted my calories to right around 1000 everyday up from the 600-700 I was eating and lost 3.7lbs this week!!! That is a total of 16.2 lbs. in 3 weeks!!! I am amazed at how well this little pill works to motivate me to focus and have the willpower to skip the sweets and to really push it during my kickboxing classes.
    Reading all of your updates and successes is so helpful to me and makes me feel like I can do it too!! Again, Thank You Ladies!!!

    Good Morning ladies...
    I have been kicking A** in the gym! hopefully it will pay off. I started my phen on 1/19 and have lost 6lbs so far( I also measured my waist and have lost an inch and a half there). I just started working out on Tuesday and it feel so good! I am not gonna weigh myself until my official weigh in @ the dr's on Monday (2/1) I hope to lose more by then. But I had to cut my phen dose in half. Ive only been taking 15 because the 30 made me feel like I was gonna have a heart attack.Does anyone take 15 in the morning and 15 in the afternoon. I work until midnight so Im sure it wouldnt affect my sleep.
    This website is so motivating and I cant wait until the summer time to see my progress. I am NOT giving up anymore, this is my year to get in shape and get healthy! Everyone have a great day.

    I was hoping to reach out to all of you and get some help.

    My Mom and I go to the same doctor and she had an appt today, so I asked her to see if my doctor would prescribe Phen to me... well of course it turns out she does not prescribe weight loss pills! I'm so discourged.
    SOO I'm stuck.
    Anyone know a doctor in the PHILADELPHIA area that will prescribe Phen? I am 5'6 225, well in qualifying range.

    ANY help would be really appreciated.

    Good afternoon ladies. I have missing in action the last few days LOL. My internet has been messed up at home, and I haven't had time to post at work until today.

    I updated my weight over the last few days in my signature. The last few days have been kinda up and down. I just started TOM yesterday, so I am hoping I have really lost more than this says, and am just holding a little water. I have been really strict and careful so I hope it eventually shows on the scale.

    I had the BEST surprise yesterday. Hubby has seen how hard I am working and surprised me with a treadmill. It is set up in the house, where I can watch TV and keep an eye on the little ones I was so touched! I had mentioned something about it before. This will help me so much because he works nights. It can be super hard to work out at night when I am home with the kids by myself (oldest is 2 and little one is 9 months).

    I have missed talking to everyone, you are such inspirations!

    HONEY: I am SO glad to see you are finding something that works for you! We are all so different. It is amazing how that change in your diet is helping facilitate your loss! Congrats

    Ryleighs: I was having the same bathroom issues. I started drinking "dieters tea" (from Walmart) every other night. It has done wonders for me. Its an herbal sort of tea. Tastes ok...but not fantastic LOL. I put about a teaspoon of honey in it and its not so bad.

    TEX: Wow, you do sound super stressed. Right before I started this bet with you and Honey, I was in the same sort of mind. I was also only getting about three hours of sleep a night. During those four or five days, the weight was totally stuck. I was doing the Shred, watching my calories (about 900), getting all my water and nothing would work. I honestly believe it was the stress and lack of sleep that was stopping the loss.

    I wonder if you took tonight to rest a bit if it might move things back along (just a thought). If you still feel like you have to exercise, try something more soothing like yoga or stretching. Then take some time to just de-stress You are doing SO AMAZING. Don't get discouraged. You have inspired so many people on this thread to work harder!

    MARRIED TO: Congrats on Hubby being home! I know how you feel, mine was in the AF for 6 years. You must be so proud of your loss now that he is home to admire it

    Christy- That's crazy no one noticed your weight loss. You look amazing I can totally see how much you've lost!!! Then again all I have to go off of is pictures whereas family sees you on a more frequent basis.


    Sandie - My knees hurt so bad when I do my Biggest Loser dvds and they ask me to do jump rope or jumping jacks. I do the modified jumping jacks and for jump rope I run in place and do the jump rope motion with my arms.
    Maybe because I like to hide behind big sweat shirts and some of my clothes are just too big now lol.

    Donise, you look great. It's been awhile since I've noticed pictures of you.

    Since I've come back here for recommittment and accountability my weight was...might as well admit it right?...219! Now my back has gone back out and my weight this morning was 212. Strange as it is...I don't feel hungry and I'm not on Phen. It's little weird.

    Hello ladies!
    I am not currently on phen, but i have an appt on the 10th to get on it! After reading all of the success you all have had i am super excited to get on the wagon! I am so tired of feeling the way i do and it really is taking a toll on my life in many ways. I know my husband hates to hear me bad mouth myself but i really do feel the things i say and he just doesn't understand and he just tells me i am beautiful... Which most of the time doesn't make me feel any better! lol But he recently left for Afghanistan and i am determined to show him im for real about this! I am hoping to be at least half way to my goal by the time he comes home for leave in june!!!

    I do have some questions and would love any tips that you all have to give!!! I am an immediate gratification type person so if i don't see the results soon after i start i get discouraged and will want to quit, but im hoping that being a part of this group will help me overcome that!

    A little about me now! I am 21 and have a 22 month old daughter, and married to the love of my life, who happens to be a soldier... Like i said before he is now in Afghanistan . I am currently at 156 lbs, and 5'6 small build. I have been watching what i eat and working out but have only lost 2 lbs in 2 weeks.

    So, as the day progressed, it got worse, but now has gotten a little better since I was able to workout hard tonight I ended up having to fork out $330 for a super-duper tune-up and engine flush, but hey, my car runs good now! lol then I went to BIOL class, and came home to 2 little boys up my butt yet again lol Gotta luv 'em! But, I did 2 lvls of Taebo and 2 30min runs on the wii tonite...I ordered 2 more workout dvd's and the EA Active Sports game so I should have all those by next week...I've been really trying to push myself today. I cant wait till I get the EA Active Sports game becuz ppl tell me that when that game says "run" it means RUN!! lol So it will reallllly push me to my limits I think...Well, seeing that I just weighed naked b4 I got in the shower just now to see if there was any loss and there was a .4lbs loss, I know I will lose SOMETHING by tomorrow morning...I'M BACK ON TRACK LADIES! lol I dont think Im gonna make our goal thought HONEY and KRYS! lol Oh well, I tried hard...

    Just wanted to hop on here and see how everyone is doing....looks like we are
    all doing great! So I had set a little mini goal for myself to have lost 15lbs by the time we went out of town tomorrow.....and I got on the scale this morning and it said 189.2 woohoo!!!! Im so excited!! I was 204.4 when I started this journey on 1-13-10, so in a little over 2 weeks ive lost 15lbs...ILL TAKE IT!! I honestly dont think i would have ever stayed on track like this if it wasnt for this board and being able to come here and read everybodys stories and get encouragement, I couldnt wait to come here and share my news with yall!!!     Lightbulb HI...I'm the Newbie!

    Hi everyone . I'm new to all of this. I got my first B-12 shot and started taken phentermine and chromium picolinate pills last week. I went to a weight lost clinic and got all the above done for $60. I'm not sure if that was a good price or not after seeing how cheap some of your visits are. I only have to go to my weight lost clinic every month, not week. So that's something else different I'm seeing.

    My question is, how do I maximize weight loss with this pill? Right now I do a hour of cardio 3-4 days a week and I also do a little weight training. I'm also on the slim fast diet. Right now I weigh 237 and I just want to get this weight up off of me! I'd love to be down to 200 pounds by my birthday in April. Any suggestions? With the info I provided above will that help me shed these pounds quickly? Thanks!

    Thanks for the welcome! I am so inspired by all of you and you are all doing such an awesome job! I would also like to know how to maximize the weight loss once i start on Phen. A close friend of mine has been on it for a while now and is doing awesome, but she also works a job that she is running around all day so im sure that helps! I absolutely cant wait until the 10th so i can really start loosing!!! Does anyone do the tao bo work outs? I am also wanting to get a Wii soon so i can get in on the challenge!!     Unhappy worn out but alive

    Congrats and welcome to the new folks that have joined up and in--plenty of good info here and definitely review earlier posts for hints and tips.

    To the toning folks, a minor increase isn't something to be angry about because it definitely sounds like gained muscle mass. That's a REALLY good thing since more muscle means more calorie burning power!!! Definitely means looking fine for your sweethearts :-P Don't fret, just keep up the hard-working sessions, you're doing great!!!!

    Today was another emotionally and physically draining day. I'm still awaiting word on the status of the girls coming back home where they belong, and not knowing the conditions of where they are at now or how they are doing has gotten me worried to the point of feeling sick to my stomach in the extreme.
    I did do my spin class this morning, but the fill-in instructor that leads it---to put it politely---she's so frigging annoying!!! I still got my sweat and grind on channeling as much as I could into it, but my body is definitely reacting to the worry and stress. I'm praying that things come out for the better.
    Tomorrow's PT session is going to be a double-whammy since I will be doing the morning PT and quite possibly an afternoon run as well. Total projected mileage for the day should be around 6.2 miles....Burn it baby!! I am setting my next goal date to scale in on 9 Feb...*Fingers Crossed*

    Anyone up for a Friday Challenge? Challenging everyone to get in 60 minutes of some type of high intensity (best judgment for what works for you) exercise whether it be bike, walk, run, elliptical; and post your mileage accomplishment. Get that Blood pumping and lets see what you can do to take the week out on a good note

    Ok, a quick post b4 I head off to school! I guess my workouts last night paid off cuz I lost -2.6lbs so I have to lose .9lbs still to get back to where I last was and I have until monday to actually SHOW some progress this wk! This sux cuz I have been losing majorly every week, but not this time...but I knew it would happen so its OK...Hey, I lost 2.6lbs last night!! So its all good! lol

    Hey all! I've noticed that when I work out a lot - especially if i do a lot of weights - i will sometimes gain a little and then have a good loss. i build muscle fairly quickly so i get really hungry too. but, the phen helps with that! it looks like everyone is doing well. going to start the shred this weekend. Once i get started working out, i love it - it just takes me awhile to finally decide to start. Then i'd like to at least do that 4-5 times a week. we may get a wii with taxes so i might be able to experience all the fun that you all are having with that.

    Regardless of what the scale says, once i start eating right everyday and working out regularly, I will be proud of myself because that in itself is a huge accomplishment. To all those already doing that - WAY TO GO! That's quite a feat!

    OOOOOOOoooo, this phen-rage is KILLIN me! It is BAD ladies! lmao ugh! I need to channel my aggression and anger elsewhere b4 I jeopardize my job or school or something! I actually had an image pop up in my head this morning of me beating the sh1t out of this chick who, once again, parked RIGHT. ON. MY. BUMPER. I never knew parking could bring so much stress to me so Im thinking I might have to start parking a little farther away in the parking LOTS where u each have ur OWN spot ya know?? lol ugh! Then I get to work, and a few MALE (sorry but its true lol) employees always seem to think its OK to leave their trash thrown about MY office becuz my office is in the corner and nobody see's it...well guess who got an earful this morning??? MY BOSS! lol When I finished going off about it, she just looked at me and said "GO GET 'EM SARA!" lol And then my phone doesnt want to send/receive texts for some reason and I dont have a single freakin second to myself EVER so if I want one, that means taking as time out from work or school and well, ya'll know how that goes...IT DOESNT! lol SO I have made an appt to get my hair did tomorrow morning..even though the boys have to go with me, they can kiss mommy's butt right now cuz I need a ME moment for once...Just once...plus, they get to go to Chuck E Chz when Im done with my hair so they better put a smile on their sweet little faces at the hair salon if they want to go still! lol Ya see what Im talking about?? My attitude?? geez its horrendous! What do some of u guys do to help relieve some of the phen-rage u might experience?? or even just ur stress?? HELP! lol
