    Maybe it depends on what your hungriest time of day is. For me, it's the middle of the day. So I take my phen about an hour or two hours AFTER breakfast and it controls my middle-of the-day appetite just fine, and I'm still not very hungry later. however, I'm SO not hungry at dinner time that occasionally I eat too little and then wake up in the middle of the night with a growling stomach. so sometimes it's necessary to have a little protein before I go to bed.

    Guess what Ladies???!!! I made my original goal and weighed in this morning at 229.9lbs!! aghhhhh!! I am just .3lbs shy of hitting a total loss of 20lbs for the month!! I lost 1.6lbs today Oh and I had this plan that I was going to start lvl2 of the shred last night and right after I was to do the lvl2, I was going to also do lvl1 to get a really good intense workout. Yea, that sooooo did not happen! lol I have never even seen what lvl2 looked like until last night and boy is that hardcore...I have carpel tunnel in BOTH wrists so doing push-ups or any move that involves my wrists supporting a lot of my weight is very painful and difficult for me...I tried though and ended up having to go to my elbows for support..but anyways, when I finished lvl2, there was no way in heck that I was going to be able to do lvl1 as well lol Give me a few days and I will try again, but not last night lol So instead I ran for 20 min on the wii and did other exercises too...

    Anyways, I think HONEY said she wont be on here till sunday, but wheres KRYS?? Hows it going Krys?? I have lost 4.1lbs of the 17lbs we gotta lose!! lol 12.9 to go!!! hahah That just SOUNDS crazy...2 wks left!! We got this!!

    Hi everyone... So far since starting Meridia on Wednesday (and skipping Thursday) I have lost 5 pounds! Thats over 1 pound per day! I am feeling great!!

    Hopefully I can start coming on here more often... things have just been sooo hectic at work....

    texasbeauty - meridia is another type of appetite suppressant. it isn't as popular as phentermine and from what i understand, more people feel side effects from meridia, like dizziness, headache, and "going #2 a lot…". Luckily, I haven't had any of the side effects and the pounds are definitely coming off. I have to literally force myself to eat and it has taken my cravings for junk entirely away! That is what was killing me. I wasn't eating much before, but when I did eat… WOW it was Mcdonalds or Checkers or candy or chips… I am sure many of you can relate. LOL. Also, I had read online that some people take meridia when the phen stops working… I don't really know how effective that is though.

    southernbelle - I think you are right about the empty stomach…. I did that yesterday (I forgot to take my pill on Thursday, but still lost 1 pound!) and it did the trick! Thanks for the tip And you are right about not needing the help of an appetite suppressant to lose the weight. I saw Taz's before and after pics and she is an inspiration! A few years ago I had lost 40 pounds of fat (and gained 10 of pure muscle) with diet and intense exercise with a personal trainer… But I think this time I went out of control. 75 pounds to me seemed impossible and i kept telling myself i would never lose the weight. And the cravings from my pregnancy still existed over one year later… I know it is possible to do it alone. I just got 2 months of the Meridia, and I don't plan on refilling the prescription. I will lose the rest of my weight on my own! Well, I might have to hire that trainer again. LOL. Thanks for your support PS - maybe you hadn't dropped anything since you are sick… your body is probably storing all the nutrients and letting anything go to waste… Your body is not in homeostasis because something is not right. Once you get over your cold, you will see the scale move down again! And no it is actually NOT bad to exercise when you are sick… Unless you are extremely faint and dehydrated….


    Honey baby - WOW 40 in 4 months! That is my goal… I was told the same thing… slower weight loss but longer results. I was hoping for 5 a month cause he didn't sound so promising, but I guess since I have been extremely good on my diet, it is paying off. I will start exercising this week… I haven't exercised yet on meridia since i knew i would be taking in very few calories (yesterday I didn't even eat over 600.. not good…) and i would have probably gotten dizzy. Today I am taking the baby to the park and I will burn some calories that way. Gym on Monday! I will definitely keep you updated

    shoefiend - you are right… it is pricey. That is why I only got 2 months and that is it! I do get extremely thirsty on it tho… Yesterday I drank 4 liters of water and had to force myself not to drink for 2 hours before bed or I would have been up all night going to the bathroom! I don't mind it as a side effect tho because it is important to drink water. If I wasn't so thirsty, I wouldn't drink nearly enough. So thats a bonus for me LOL. For energy, I am taking B-12 injections, so I am glad I don't get the extra energy boost… people at work already think i am hyper as it is. LOL

    ethansmommy - i was also impressed with your tummy… give me hope! My stomach is all mush right now… looks terrible. I am crossing my fingers that I won;t need surgery… since losing weight, i noticed it is getting better… so hopefully it keeps getting smaller! Good work!

    Hopefully I can start coming on here more often because I feel like I am missing so much! Keep up the hard work!

    Good afternoon ladies! Hope you are all doing well and have your will power up for the weekend.

    TEX: Had date night with hubby last night and thought for sure I had screwed myself LOL. We went out to eat and to the movies and NO exercise. I was sooooo scared to get on that scale this morning! BUT...I was down one pound YYEEEAAAHHH!

    So that makes me just over 12 pounds for the month and at -3.4 for our 17 pound goal.

    I was going to be super hard on myself last night, but thought of you with the wedding cake LOL. So I went ahead and had some popcorn and twizzlers! Guess my body liked the little splurge

    You are doing great!!! Keep it up. We are on our way to one-derland.

    hey girls! wow i'm telling u i don't think i can lose a lb if someone was paying me to!!! this is ridiculous! i spend ALOT of time in the gym and eat great all day long but in the evenings i BLOW it!! i have a week worth of phen but unfortunately my doctor hasn't been willing to give it to me in MONTHS so i might try breaking them in half and making them last me two weeks and PRAY since i haven't been on them in a while i can lose 10 lbs in two weeks!

    hey girls!!

    Was trying to wait till rugrat goes to take a nap, but wasn't able to get on here! I'm on my phone now cause I'm watching my Colts playing! I'm so tired! I get to sleep in tomor!! Woohoo!! Hubbys day to get up with Lexie!

    I was up to 289 this morning cause I had Chinese last night! I drank A LOT of water today to try and get the salt out of my body! Did great today! I made pork chops for dinner tonight and had a salad with carrots and balsamic vinaigrette. Then tonight I had a fruit bar! I'm looking at about 1250 cals, which is higher then normal! We'll see what tomor says!!

    So I went out to lunch with my bf today and I did good, but Im scared what the scale might say still lol I had a fajita chicken quesadilla from the lunch menu so it was rather small and I had some brown rice too, but when I got home I ran for 30min on the wii and did about 15min more of other wii exercises too. Hopefully I didnt hurt myself too bad, but we shall see..If I did, I will just kick it in to high gear tomorrow to get it back off

    Hey Ladies! (and gentlemen... just havent seen many yet). My doctor just gave me adipex(did I spell it right?) just last week. I started on it yesterday morning... and so far so good! This stuff makes me feel amazing!

    So some information about me... I'm married... mother of two beautiful baby boys. Ethan is 19 months now and Seth is 8 weeks. I struggled with my weight my whole life... I never ever knew what it was like to be thin growing up. It really hindered my growth in myself... but it also helped me to appriciate life as it is and made me stronger. When I went to college, I dropped 70lbs in just 4 months all on my own. I went to a small campus in TN and we didnt have cable so all I did when I wasn't in class or sleeping was walk. It became my "thing". People would get to know me because I was the girl who walked around campus for hours and they wanted to come too and we'd talk and become fast friends. I kept that weight off for 4 years... I would fluxuate up and down the same 20lbs.. but those 20lbs didn't really make a huge different on me... yeah i was alittle thicker... but still felt great and thin.. yes.. thin! It was amazing!

    I got married in November of 2007 and we came home from our honeymoon with an unexpected gift. I was pregnant with our son Ethan. I was told I couldnt get pregnant... or it woul dbe hard... and this was a shocker for sure. It was a rough pregnancy and in the last 2 months I was put on bed rest because I had pregnancy induced hypertension. Those last few months I gained alot of weight. I have no idea how much because I was turning away from the scale... but when I had Ethan, my 6 week check up I was heavier than I'd ever seen. The last weight I saw on the scale was 190... when the nurse at the drs office slipped up and told me my weight.. she said 260! I was devistate... and ended up gaining 15 more lbs. I also had post pardum depression which didnt help the situation. Last December I pursued getting weight loss surgery. I spent a month going to all the classes and we were thinking I would have surgery in February... but I was denied at the last minute by my insurance due to my husband having a work exclusion or something like that. So I decided to try to lose weight on my own...

    Well I lost 10lbs.. then discovered we were pregnant again!! That doc that told me getting pregnant would be hard for me was a quack! lol This time I tried to be as active as possible in the beginning of my pregnancy.. which wasnt easy because I blew my back out twice... but things were going well. I only gained 25lbs in my pregnancy... when I had my son Seth, I still developed pregnancy induced hypertention.. but only AFTER I had him this time. I got on the scale and I had actually gained almost 5lbs since having him... so I was concerned. My doctor gave me blood pressure medications and within 6 days (yes.. DAYS!!) I lost 40lbs!!!!!! I was about 15lbs under my pre-pregnancy weight. How wonderful! However... at 250lbs I am still 80lbs from my lowest weight... and 100lbs from my ideal weight.

    I talked to my doctor and she gave me this! and I found you guys! I have felt wonderful the last few days... so much energy (hard with a newborn! and toddler!) and even though I am not much of an eater anyway it seems to have curved my sweet cravings and helped control what I eat.. and I have already dropped 4lbs! I had to check 5 times because I thought the scale was off center or something! lol But as you saw from above... when my body DOES lose weight, I LOSE weight... just getting it started is what becomes hard for me... and before this I was already eating healthier and better... so this is just the kick my body seems to need! granted I need a few more weight checks to make sure my body is truly happy with this.. but it seems to be really working! I want to be in my old clothes again... and my ultimate goal is to be 150lbs by next year... not sure if it is possible... but we will see!

    JennLin- welcome and good luck! i have an ethan as well, he's 4 though. i was 230-ish when i had him (i was only 135-ish pre-preg). but yes phen does work and it works very well if u put in a little effort... if u need any advice or help we're definately here for that.

    I am very impressed with your weight loss! especially when I read on another post that you got your tummy THAT flat without surgery! two pregnancies in two years... two csections... honestly no matter how small I get I couldnt imagine ever having a tummy that flat without some surgical assistance!

    Hello everyone! My name is Amber, and I'm 29 years old. I am in a relationship with a really supportive boyfriend of 2 years now, and I myself don't have kids, but he has two girls that I think of as my own.
    Currently I'm starting my fight downward at 280lbs, and I'm looking to push that number to 180lbs. I've been fighting a pretty rough losing battle to the tune of 100lbs due to injury and thyroid issues over the last few years, and it ****s because all I've wanted to do is get back down to my old size. I've always struggled with my weight (I'm what many folks considered a "thick" girl), but bottom line is that from my early teens I've never been a toothpick, and never will be. I just want to be healthy.
    I like that everyone here that I've read so far is pretty blunt. I'm active duty and already participate in daily physical training and monitoring my intake, but just those two things alone haven't done a dang thing to reduce and have actually allowed for more and more weight gain. This last gain was about 30 lbs and it happened in less than a month. The military isn't keen on offering additional weight loss options outside of "pt and diet modification" so add frustration, anxiety, and depression to the mix up until this point. My new doctor finally gave me an open option, but I have to pay for it out of my pocket (it covers the gov'ts butt). This definitely qualifies in my book as worth every penny if it means results!!
    I'm currently on Day 2 of my phentermine prescription, so I'm really hoping that this might be the help I need. I am looking to reduce my overall BMI down to at least 25-27, which for my body structure would be healthy.
    So far I'm feeling good, and though it's early I'm noticing that aside from the mild jittery feeling that my hunger level is starting to drop a little. I can already tell that this stuff is going affect my sleep...in that I probably will get even less. Today I barely got 6 hours and it was a pretty restless kind of sleep.
    I am going to do my first weigh-in on the 26th, so between now and then I hope that I can make a good benchmark. The scale to me is more like an enemy...so taking the step is something I hope I can change the feeling on.

    UGH! I am so annoyed! lol I GAINED 1.1lbs becuz I ate out yesterday But thats OK, I have already kicked butt on the wii this morning and when I get off here, I am going to do the shred and then later I will run some more and even do Taebo...I update my info tomorrow morning so I do NOT want the scale to be above 229.9! I HAVE to lose this weight not only for myself, but for HONEY, and KRYS for our challenge so I can be a good influence and supporter AND everyone else on here as well!! I dont want to be like I used to be and lose a few pounds, and then give up...I dont want to be looked upon as a failure becuz I AM NOT! Anyways, keep up the good work ladies...Welcome to all the newbies!     amber welcome.. yeah we're a pretty blunt bunch.. most of us who hang around and don't drop off after a week or two r ones who need that swift kick though..

    jenn- it is possible... my big problem was i was up down up down quickly and by a span of 100 lbs! so yea if i can do it anyone can! i also had two c-sections!

    Oh yay June birthdays!! Ethans birthday is June 10th. He was 5 weeks early though because of my blood pressure.. it just kept climbing... but he was healthy (7lbs 5oz) and went home with me after the 4 days we were there. His only issues were slight case of juandice that went away on its own after a few weeks (he was soooo yellow though!) and he had serious acid reflux from his esophigus being under developed. But everything else was great! He was a big baby for being early... but I had my new son Seth two weeks early and he was 9lbs! lol I am so glad neither of these boys went to a full 40 weeks.. I would have been miserable! lol

    Congratz on the loss! You have a great mindset about your eating and how important moderation is (not just trying to ignore those foods you love). My mindset is that there is no such thing as a food I'm not allowed to have (unless I became allergic...lol)... I eat the foods I want... and because I adopted that mindset, the junkier food is less appealing to me and I prefere the healthier stuff. My mom has the "the food isnt allowed" mentality... so while I can eat just one cookie... my mom goes and grabs 5 and rationalizes they are for my son ethan... lol... and the ethan only gets one and she eats 4... feeling guilty the whole time. I'm trying to break her of that mindset.. lol shes lost 50lbs recently but has stalled... hopefully if she gets into the mindset that food isnt the enemy, we just need to understand moderation... hopefully she will loose more too!

    So after losing .9 lbs yesterday and being so happy i got on the scale this morning and i was .9 lbs heavier. So today is busting butt. i did my taebo dvd and my wii fit so hopefully the scale will be down tomorrow.

    So, the wkend is over and I’m glad because I usually ALWAYS eat terribly! I didn’t take any Phen this wkend because I HAD to have a slice of pizza from Pizza Hut (one of my biggest weaknesses!) I went to the doctor yesterday for my monthly weigh in/check up and I was up 1.5 lbs from my last visit with him. I expected to be up in my weight because of the past holidays. However, he said that my gain was muscle and my fat percentage is going down, which is good! So, I’m excited!!!!! Now, I have to work my booty off to achieve my mini goal of losing 10 lbs by Valentines Day.

    Hey ladies! Hope you have all had a great weekend! I am lucky because I get the day off tomorrow for MLK Day

    I had a pretty good weekend. I am really working hard to make good choices. Today was my hardest day though. We always have Sunday dinner at my grandmas house after church. There is always a huge meal and multiple desserts. So, it was tough! I just kept thinking of doing the Shred all week and how freaking hard it was...I didn't want to backtrack any of that success. So, I actually passed on the dessert. I was super proud!

    This morning I was down -.6. YEAH. SO I was glad for that.

    Why hello there Glamor Girls!!!

    Krys, I get tomorrow off, too! Sometimes working for the state pays off...lol. I used to be a teacher and I always got it off there, too. LOL

    I think I did pretty well today. I know I did well for lunch. Tonight for dinner, I made whole wheat penne pasta with health smart sauce and chicken with mushrooms. Mixed it all together. I'm not a big fan of whole wheat pasta, but I'm making myself get used to it!!! I think my bowl was probably around 520 cal's! Which is high for my normal!! We'll see in the morning. I did my fit for 30 minutes tonight and worked up a good sweat! I started using the nunchuck to see what those games did...it was fun. Boxing was pretty neat! I'll have to bump it up tomorrow!!!

    Jenn...I had the high blood pressure as well. The day before I had Lex, my BP was 178/115! They looked at me and said you're having this kid tonight or tomorrow, which do you prefer??? I went in the next evening which was Friday, and didn't have her until Sunday night (june 1st) at 12:36am! She just wanted to be a june baby because my sister had bought me a june daughter charm..lol. My sister just knew I was gonna have her in May because of that! She was two weeks early!!! And the SAME as your Ethan! 7lbs 5oz! lol

    That's about it going on here...lol. I'll check in tomorrow morning! Have a lovely evening!!!

    Well here I go again. I took my phen again today after being off of it since Tuesday. Man I was really sick, didn't even feel better until yesterday, so it couldn't have possibly been the phen. Im praying so hard that tonight goes good!!! The only positive thing about being sick was two weeks ago i was 227 and this morning i'm 221. So I lost 6lbs in 5 days. Please pray for me that it wasn't the phen getting me sick as I don't want to have to quit when I just got started. *sigh* I'm trying to remain upbeat that tonight goes well for me!! Well hope everyone has a happy monday!! TTYL....

    TABBY- If u were sick all week, then No, it wasnt the phen...Phen is only in ur system for the 24hrs u are on it and since U JUST started it, it didnt have time to really STICK in ur system so I really dont think it was the phen...I noticed that when I first started on Dec 30th, I was also taking my prozac ( so I was taking phen pro) and for some reason I was feeling sooo sick..nauseous, dizzy, headaches, everything...that was the 1st 2 days I was on it..then I stopped taking the prozac with the phen, and havent been sick since...Are u taking anything else that could interfere with the phen? Anyways, I think it will be OK this time around...

    So today is my official update day and I am down .7lbs today for a total of -5.5lbs this week I weighed-in at 230.4 this morning (thanx to my sat lunch out lol) So to make things easier on the little challenge we got going on KRYS and HONEY, Im just goin to use that number (-5.5) instead of trying to keep track from Tuesday-on...Its just a couple oz's more so it aint a big deal...I just have too many numbers to keep track of so this makes it easier lol So, 11.5lbs to go!! Gosh, I hope I lose that too!! 2 wks left!!

    I went out and bought the Biggest Loser Cardio Max yesterday and I really like that dvd...more than the shred really. The shred bores me lol ugh Jillian has no sparkle about life in her it seems!! And Bob does!! lol But I'll keep at it...Im half way there!

    Good morning everyone!!! I am finally back on here. I got home Saturday night, but then ended up taking apart my old desk that's metal and 6ftx3ft (huge!) and weighs 200lbs!!! My friend came over to help me out with it. At one point when the bolts wouldn't come out I started wimpering and saying, "I wish my neighbor was here to help" crycrycry. It was a royal pain!!! Then Sunday I went to church and came home and took a nap with my daughter as we do every Sunday. Anyhow, I ate horribly this weekend...which I knew I would being at my Aunt's house that makes everything from scratch! However, I did limit the "horrible" stuff I ate. I even ate pizza, doughnuts, I mean you name it and I ate it. Grant it, I only ate like half a doughnut and one slice of pizza, but it added up. So I worked my butt off while I was at my Aunt's house since I knew I was eating badly. Grace (my daughter) and I pretty much stayed outside the entire time running/pulling her in the wagon/walking/etc. We even got chased by dogs so I had to run pretty fast with her in my arms... That was scary!!! Then taking the desk apart and carrying each piece out the curb left me so sore on Sunday.

    Anyhow, Sunday I ate really well to make up for Saturday! Pretty much ate like a rabbit and all greens.

    I got on the scale this morning and I am down to 214lbs!!! WOO HOOO!!!! That's only 3.5lbs for our weight loss of 17lbs though. I'm still happy with that though!!!

    Congrats to all of you for the awesomeness you guys are having. I read all the posts, but not enough time to reply back to all.

    Good morning ladies!

    All last week I had absolutely no appetite (didn't take phen either) and lost nothing at all because I have been so sick! Last night I noticed I had an appetite back full fledged!! It was so hard not to get into the cookies and junk food and it was too late to take a phen.

    The scale this morning said 240.4 I'm going to try this new approach of consuming more calories.. but of the RIGHT kind. The whole time I was eating wrong I would beat myself up thinking I had too many calories and I need to take it way down. Now that I take it way down, I learn that that's not right either! It's going to be a struggle but I am going to aim for 1000 to 1200 a day. I went and bought me some trail mix and fat free 100 cal yogurt to snack on at work.

    I hope this goes well and I'm going to HOPEFULLY get better soon!! I have no voice at all and I am coughing and sniffling constantly. I have been sick for a week straight! This is getting old!

    I didn't take my phen yesterday because I was on the road for 5 hrs yesterday and didn't want to have to stop to pee constantly haha. I have a feeling I might be up. My weigh in is supposed to be today but my scale is sitting out in my truck and I'm in the hotel room with my boys and I do not feel like dragging them all outside for just a scale. lol. It's tempting to try to take the screen off my window and crawl out that way but that might look suspicious to others here at the hotel haha! I'll just weigh myself in an hr when my honey comes here for lunch.

    I'll try to come back and do personals since I haven't really and I keep popping in. I should try to be more active I need it! These last 17lbs I haven't been motivated at all for some reason so I need to get motivated and get them GONE!

    Good morning all my Phen friends.. I'm here enjoying this cloud covered rainy day in Southern California.. (yes regardless to what the song says it does rain here..lol )
    I haven't been on in a couple of week so good to see everyone doing good... Awesome motivation.. especially after having a good yet stressful weekend ..
    So I was ever so happy about peaking that 25 lbs mark (just a few ounces away) and my best friend wants to pour her heart out because she thinks I'm unhealthy and I don't need to lose weight (i don't know about you but 235 isn't my favorite number when I stand on the little black square and look down at my feet) she also threw in the fact that I don't eat and don't take my vitamins and so on and so on..
    OK so just to clear matters up, I do eat I just opt for the happy meal instead of the Big Mac extra value meal.. and yea I take my one a day vitamin (I hate those). but anyways, in my head I'm thinking she has no clue what its like to have to worry about your weight & watch what you eat, be the "fat friend" and so on you all know what I'm getting at here.. but man its just frustrating, it would be nice to just have a little bit of a congrats from those closest to me outside of my family because they support me in everything I do..
    Well ok I got that off my chest thank for listening girls.. and just so you kow how i feel I included a pic of me & my bestie so you can see how we look at the world differently when it comes to weight

    Fastcuteone - I'm sorry you are having to deal with an unsupportive friend. I don't think she understands what it's like to be overweight. She is at the weight probably most people on here would die for! I would jsut talk to her and ask her to be supportive of what you are doing and that you are not at a healthy weight and that you are going to lose the weight even if she is worried about you. Let her know that you are doing it the way your doctor has told you and that you are being monitored by a healthcare PROFESSIONAL. Make sure you take your vitamins! How much are you eating a day that she thinks you're not eating???

    I usually grab a bowl of cereal in the morning then something for lunch and whatever mom makes at dinner time... I don't follow a strict diet like most on here.. I just eat and stop when I'm full .. I know if I ate better I would get better results but one thing at a time .. lol

    fastcuteone- good job on the weight loss! I've been stuck at 239-240 for a week now because I'm sick and probably not eating enough. Don't know! Your friend needs to learn to be more supportive of you. Maybe she's jealous? Either way, she should want you to be healthier!

    Hi Everybody!
    I have been coming here for about a week now and reading everyones post, I have to tell you, you all have given me so much encouragement and inspiration. I got back on Phentermine on Jan 13th. because I was at my heaviest ever at 204.4. I took it a few years ago and lost 40 lbs and kept the weight off, until I went thru a divorce and bad custody battle and moved away from my hometown. I gained the 40 back PLUS 20!!! So here I am 3 years later, my 4 girls back with me where they belong, remarried to a great guy, and so the only thing really bringing me down is this extra weight!
    I went to the doctor last summer and he prescribed me the 30mg phentermine (black capsules) well for whatever reason I just COULD NOT make myself stay on it, I would take it a couple of days and I was soo extremely irritable and moody and emotional I could hardly stand myself so I stopped taking it. I decided to give this one more try and hopefully this time I can take it long enough to get my body used to it and not be soo irritable. It seems to be working and Im not near as bad as I was the first two days (it was rough!! me and hubby got into a HUGE fight, that I knew was totally all my fault!) So far as of today I am down 7lbs Im hoping for a 10 lb weightloss by the end of this week.
    Just wondering if anyone else has experienced the extreme moodiness like that and if so, did it eventually get better?
    As far as my diet goes Im basically just watching my calories and trying to eat as much protein as possible, no set strategy just healthier eating overall.
    I was sooo proud of myself because the other night we went to my FAVORITE italian restaurant and I did not eat any of the bread or any of the pizza that smelled sooo yummy. I drank my water and had grilled mahi mahi grilled shrimp and spinich.
    I feel like I am finally ready mentally to take on this challenge again, I like this forum and I LOVE seeing everyones progress. Its good to know there is a place to come and get support and advice. Looking forward to seeing everyone meet their goals!!!

    Welcome newbies! Good luck to you and hopefully you'll figure out how Phen works best for you and your schedules. It took a couple weeks, a whole lot of reading previous posts, and trial & error to learn how Phen best works for me.

    Ethansmommy - thanks for the info on the tummy. I'm keeping that in mind.

    Jenn - You hit it on the nose, your friend doesn't understand or is comfortable with the "fat friend". My ex kept telling me I was fine and didn't need to lose any weight. Um, did you see my pic below??? Does that look healthy to you? Vent away girlfriend! ...Good ol' Fontucky!!! My mom lives in Southridge.

    Busy weekend for me, dog was sick, my truck was turned in for service. I was stuck at home, did some cleaning and washed everything that wasn't glued on, nailed in or sewn to anything. I baked my first turkey breast and it came out ok. If anyone has a good recipe to cook a turkey breast please IM me. I had some fast food over the weekend. I rather cook at home to prevent temptation but ya know, it happens. One thing I noticed is that I loved chinese food ever since I started eating the stuff at 11 years old. I have not craved it in almost 2 months and used to eat it weekly. Now, I'm working on that darn pizza craving. (sigh)

    Right here! I talked to my boyfriend about that when I learned it was a side effect. I asked him to be very patient with me until I got the hang of it. When I felt myself getting upset, I would take a minute to breath and really think about the situation before reacting because my emotions would go from 0 to 60 quicker than a snap. I almost had a "Fried Green Tomatoes" incident at a gas station. Long line, I was next at the pump, putting my Expedition from Park into Drive when young girl quickly drove around me and into the stall. I wanted to beat her face in. I'll never forget how I felt that day. She brought the ghetto out of me!

    It gets better.
