    I meant to post yesterday. Didn't get around to it. I updated my ticker though.
    I went to the weight loss clinic yesterday and I am down to 203 woohoo! Looks like I might be under 200 before Jan 31st after all! I am soooo excited. Well all u lovely beautiful ladies take care and congrats to all of u! You all look amazing and ur families are sooo beautiful! Take care!
    I am no longer fighting the world to prove I am comfortable being A BIG girl.. Because I was only fighting myself... I'm not comfortable, and I am happy I am doing something about it. Starting this over and fresh with a new begining!

    @Chiquita- congrats on your loss...by the time you read this, i wouldn't be surprised if you were in one-der-land.

    @Dee60- i say by all means...it shouldn't matter what your age is, if you've got it flaunt it and we will have it. Its funny, now that i've started exercising and I can see a change in my endurance and strength, I have unleashed my inner athlete. Keep in mind...i've NEVER been an athletic sort, but its something about all of this exercise that is making me want to see what I can do.

    I just learned how to swim a little over a year ago and i'm able to swim 3 laps (25m pool) without having to stop for a minute to rest, so i'm really excited about that, so i'm working on my endurance. I have a ways to go, but a journey begins with a single step.

    Next, is the running part...THAT'S gonna be a challenge , but with the extra weight coming off, i'll give it a shot.

    The fencing class looks really interesting and to see those people constantly moving in the studio is inspiring, before I probably would have ran in the other direction if you mentioned anything about having to stay in motion for upwards of 30 minutes.

    @Shoefiend- you'll enjoy the pole dancing class, i went to a beginners one and had a great time...and all i can say is those dancers earn their money and then some. A friend of mine teaches at a studio in Philly and i've seen their routines...i'm just in awe of the flexibility, core strength and their upper and lower body strength.

    KaysKidz - Grandkids... my oldest daughter is 23 and knows she is not ready.. so I have 2 grand dogs and a grand kitten... and she brings them out to see granny (that is what she calls me.. ) LOL .....slinky black dress... I LIKE THAT... ( want to look sexy when I see my highschool sweet heart).. You go girl with the nighties... that is great!! LOL... I just bought my first couple pair of thongs... I LOVE THEMMM.. where have they been all my life... oh that's right... they would have gotten lost... on my body... :0 .. You like to ride.!!! Well there is another reason to make a trip to OK... One of my big accomplishments was to mount my horse without climbing on a stump first!!!! Now.. she had to brace herself... but God Bless her she has patience...lol

    - First... by January 11th...     Sosassafrass - I am with you on the bikini, never have worn one! I have always had some kind of issue with my body and how it looks in a swimsuit. Hopefully I can get over my issues and feel confident enough once I reach my goal, cuz I would love to rock out in a tini weeni bikini - plus they always have such cuter styles in 2 pieces! Great job on your swimming!!! You will be ready for your triathalon before you know it!

    Ladys - I think you read my mind - lol. I have thought about rock climbing also, it looks like fun. I just have to get over another fear of mine - heights!!!

    Lejune - Glad to hear you had a good time at the party! I was thinkin about you this morning and how it went. Good luck at your Dr. appointment tomorrow!

    Mrsace13 - I have had the same problem in the past with the working out. I find now that as long as I do something I enjoy, I dont have to drag my feet as much. Right now I am doing a walking routine in the am and pm. I have no exercise buddies nearby so I take my trusty Golden Retriever aka partner in crime - lol. She loves it! I know this because now she knows our routine and she tells me when it is time to go. So we go no matter what, in the cold, rain and today in the snow! I work better as a team, I did really well in the past with a work out buddy. Then my work out buddy moved out of state and slowly I fell off the wagon You will get there! Just think about things you like to do or get a friend involved to help keep you both motivated. It is a matter of trial and error, once you find the things you enjoy doing they will stick.

    Ok, now onto some more firsts I thought of...
    mud volleyball (join a summer league)
    water skiing
    Bungee jump - now I have a terrible fear of heights so bad that step ladders scare me - lol - but I would really like to figure out a way to get over it!
    Oh yes, and I love the idea of the black slinky dress - and would LOVE to shop at Victoria's secret on the lingerie side, not just the makeup/perfume/lotion side

    Hey everyone, I hope all is going well. After looking over some of our 1st for once the weights off, I'd swear we are kindred spirits. Esp, with the swimming, marathon, pole dancing...shoefiend as for the rock climbing, I'm afraid of heights too, but you only live once, and it'll probably just be INDOOR rock climbing with a huge mat at the bottom. LOL.

    Dee: as for express being my why, my why is I have PCOS, and right now my options to 'cope' are take horomones(birth control now and fertility drugs later) for the rest of my life, and deal with acne, infertility, mood swings and other stuff, OR lose weight. It's one thing to take bc pills because you don't want to get pregnant, it's another thing for it to be mandated. That's my why.

    So anyway everyone's doing good, and remember even when we fall down, just get back up and keep going.

    i would love one of the teeny weeny ones too...with the 2 triangle top....hey, i'd even love to go to a clothing-optional beach and scamper around on the sand and splash about without a care in the world. I'm working hard to get that body...and i'm going to get some sun on it. The bikini would be a victory also...especially since i've been top-heavy for a while now.

    I hope I'll be ready to complete a triathlon...my goal would be just to finish it without having to have a defibrillator handy or with the EMT's behind me.

    You go on with the bungee jumping...i will be cheering for you, from.the.ground...because i'm afraid of those kind of heights. The volleyball and water skiing does sound fun and you will be doing that in no time...we will be calling you Malibu Barbie with your new teeny bikini on the back of a waterski.

    Hey Ladies.... I am dying over here!!!! My girlfriend has been after me to go to the bootcamp... Her and her husband look great.. she did not really need to lose but she has as well as firming.. Well... this morning I finally went!! OMG - just shoot me know... lol.... 1.5 miles of jogging ... sprinting... LUNGES.... I have never done so many lunges... well and of course.. I am hard headed... and push my self beyond.. cuz I want to keep up with everyone else... I do not like NOT being able to do something... then we made it back to her house for crunches... lifting 2 buckets of water for the arms... push ups.. worked triceps.. she moved from one to the other... !!! I m exhausted.... lol... I have been on the couch with ice paks on my sheens... lol... I do not think I will be walking tomorrow!!! HAHA... My quads even hurt!! LOL.. The things we do to try to look good... after all those lunges I should have the best looking *** in my area!!! LOL
    Came home and had 1/2 grapefruit, 15 med shrimp boiled, with homemade cocktail sauce.. not sugars or salt and a salad with balsamic vig.
    I have been alittle stalled... not worried.. went down a hair this morning... I think by the end of this week I hope to reach 199... well see!!

    Now the question is will I go back for more Thursday!! LOL...

    Mrsace13 - I am with you about Phen... it transformed me mentally... I was very over weight, hormonal and depressed.... the very first day I started taking those pills... my mood changed... I wanted to get out side and do something... boy I spent a month cleaning vines out of trees... you name it I did it.. My neighbors would laugh and tell me why don't you get those boys to do that.... By golly I wanted to do it..!!

    shoefiend - Mud volley ball... that sounds sexy!! lol... sorry these days my mind stays in the gutter!! :0 .. and water sking.. I remember when I could do that!! Go for it... I think snow skiing... never do that.
    So you think option 2 would be the one!! LOL... I keep leaning toward that one also..

    For Good and Okiediva - glad your hear... these are great ladies... we like to laugh alot, the support is great and we like to invision when an all the first things we are going to do.. that weight has hindered all these years.

    Whoo hoo....i'm not quite ready for bootcamp just yet...i'm taking little steps. There are still days where I'm practically crawling to my car after a workout and there are days where i'm doing alright. I'm somewhat lagging behind on my New Year's goal of 25 lbs lost...I would have to lose 9 lbs in 3 weeks, which seems a little tough, but i'll try, because nothing beats a failure but a try.

    I'm going to challenge myself within reason though...I upped my water intake and i'm adding another day of exercise in (increasing from 4 to 5). I'm trying to drink 100 oz. of water a day, starting this week.

    However, i'm still happy that i'm close to losing 20 lbs though, so its not all that bad.

    I like being able to have a hot slinky black dress...every woman should have a sexy black dress on standby if she has to go somewhere. I have a pair of black stilettos with a silver heel and ankle strap that would be great with a simple black sheath dress or even a slinky, form-fitting dress.

    I can't wait to be able to have one as well...I love clothes and i'm sure my love will only increase when I get closer to my goal. I also love stilettos!!

    What kind of style are you looking for? What particular clothing do you like? Are there colors you are fond of?

    I always enjoyed dressing and making-up people because I could vicariously wear all kinds things through them.

    Dee-that workout sounds painful but you know what they say--NO PAIN NO GAIN. Well in your case no firming of the ...... LOL

    I went to the doctor today. BP a little up because I didn't take my BP meds because I hadn't eaten but she gave me another refill and was so proud of my progress. She smilled and was like girl--look at you! You are doing good. So, I will try to call in a refill and see how it goes if not, I will just go back in. Dec--my copay goes up to 20 but so what. Oh, the assistant at Walgreens was looking at the price of my prescription and was shocked that I only had to pay 1.91 for 30 pills for Phen. LOL. I told her, yeah, I know, I get that quite often. I picked up 4 prescriptions today and paid 8.00.

    We talked about hubby and she said she would be willing to see him and put him on Phen. I talked to him about it in the car and he pulled a "Chrissy Snow" from 3's Company. LOL Anyway we will se how it goes.

    I am home today with hubby. I head to New Orleans and Alabama this weekend. Looking forward to Emeril's and Copelands. LOL. I know, I know, I will have to work my butt off next week but it will be worth it. I promise not to go overboard.

    Dee - Karaoke would be fun!!

    One of my firsts I would like to do hopefully this weekend will be one:

    To be able fit in a airplane seat and not be uncomfortable and holding my arms so as not to disturb the person next to me.

    Next first time goals are:

    Water skiing
    Wear a halter top
    Learn how to swim so I can put on a sexy swimsuit
    Buy a bra from Victoria’s secret
    To cross my legs (I have big calves--always have)

Well now the problem is I am deflating in that area, hubby is not likin it too much. I told him well when I hit goal I think my present to us should be breast implants Nothin huge, but I really want some nice perky ones that stand at attention - lol!

    I woke up this morning, and officially weigh less than my DH!!!!! WOOHOO!!!! This was a mini-goal for me to hit by Christmas! So I hit it over 2 weeks early! I should be able to hit one-derland by his bday (1/17)!! I'd like to hit it by New Years, but I know that's not realistic...but I should be getting close!

    Hi there all,
    Looks like I have a lot of catching up to do here! We have had family in town since 11/23 and it has been tough staying on plan! They leave on Saturday. I am only down .25 this week. Officially down 14 lbs total in 9 weeks. That is an average of 1.5lbs per week and that is what the doctor said I would lose between 1 to 2 lbs a week. I sure wish is was faster. It will take me until next October to be 20lbs from goal. Keep up the good work everyone!

    LOL....i tell ya, men and the fear of the disappearing breasts. my friend wasn't enthused about it. i told him, i'll still have more than a mouthful when i get down to my goal size. I just don't wanna get the "orange in a dress sock" look to my breasts or the sunny-side up egg on a nail look, so i work on my upper body as well.

    Thanks for the vote of encouragement!!! You'll have to tell us all about the waterskiing adventure....only thing is we can't wear the triangle bikini top on the back of the waterski...that's just a bathing suit top malfunction waiting to happen.

    My new laugh...or disappointment (depends on how you look at it)...i'll call it a laugh...because if i can't laugh at myself during this experience then it'll really be terrible. I get on the scale this morning...shame shame. I just went ahead and put it back under my sink...and i won't pull it out until the 17th.

    It said 216.5 and I was about to do a dance around the bathroom because that would have been like a 1.5 lb. loss over the course of a week. However, something told me...weigh myself again and make sure I have the scale on a level surface. Stepped on the scale and it said 218.0...I weighed myself 3 times total (i usually weigh myself 3 times and take the average). The thing still said 218.0. I was like...sonofab****!!!!, but that's alright...0.5lb loss is better than nothing.

    So, I've lost 1 lb. since my weigh-in on 12/4.
    Goals...everybody's gotta have them

    Phase I- 199.0 lbs- completed on (3/14/2010)

    Sosassafrass & Shoefiend - Sorry for the breast issue. You crack me up about the orange sock. LOL. I wish breast issue was an issue for me. I actually would welcome it. When I was 11 my biological mom and I were wearing 36C's and it has been up up up and away since then. I am in G's now. Anything below 40 and less than a G cup would absolutely WONDERFUL for me. I probably could run or jog without giving myself a black eyes. POW, POW, POW LOL

    Okay everybody--just got to work and I am so excited I am 227. Whew......BUT I go to New Orleans and Alabama this weekend. I am going to do my best staying away from starches but it will be kind of hard with all the YUMMY sauces. Hopefully, I do not gain 5 pounds in two days. I will be in the gym bright and early Sunday morning before church. LOL.

    You know, I believe my goal for the end of the year is 220 and it is really starting to look duable at this point. I am doing better with BM's lately which had been a major problem for me.

    I'm not bad today....i had a wretched headache yesterday and I thought i was dehydrated, but that wasn't the case. I drank about 64 oz. of water before the headache's onset. It was so rough...I had to leave work early because the fluorescent lights were just making it unbearable. I couldn't stand any lights or TV being on until this morning.

    LOL....you'd think that i didn't have enough breast to spare...now, i'm in a size 40H..from a 42I at my heaviest. I'm not worried about these breasts really going much of anywhere...to make matters even worse, I'm short (5'0"), so i'd like to not have a bra with the padded shoulder straps. My friend has just gotten used to me being top-heavy, he's joked that he won't have anyplace to rest his head when we watch movies.

    I didn't get these breasts until I was in my mid-20's. I wore a B cup throughout HS...went up to about a C or D in college and then it just spiraled out of control.

    Congrats for the 227!!! you will be less than 220 by the New Year, go girl!!! Oooh...I wish I could fit in your luggage to go to N.O. and AL (are you going near Mobile...since that's not far from N.O.?). I know i'd just go insane with all those sauces...and everything tastes better with rice. However, you will do just fine...and like you said, you'll get your workout in and you won't feel deprived of all those goodies.

    Your friend is funny. Hubby hadn't said anything about it because they really haven't went anywhere. Early in our marriage I told him I wanted a reduction--and you would have thought someone had taken his chocolate the way he was going on about it. LOL

    I joke alot saying I pay good money for my bras to have the "girls" locked and loaded.

    When I had my accident last year the emergency room person cut my bra. I was LIVID. I told the woman--that's a 45 dollar bra. I could have just raised up for you to take it off. She just kind of looked at me like oh well. If I could have I probably would have hit her with that bone coming out of my leg.

    Your .5lbs lost, it is still a loss! It may be a smaller amount than you are used to but you most likley gained muscle. I bet you will see a much bigger number come next weigh in from all that muscle burning away the lbs. So be proud of your accomplishments and your self for continuing to lose!

    Lejune - Your comment on getting the reduction and hubby acting like you took away his choclate had me rollin on the floor Congrats on the 23lbs lost and hitting 227! You will beat your NYE goal and be below 220 for sure.

    Wow, $45 bra!!! I definately would have hit her with the leg or just poked at her a bit with the bone stickin out. Why would they need to cut a bra off for a leg injury!?! You should have sent them a bill plus added for pain and suffering. Especially since hospitals charge you an arm and a leg for even an aspirin you can get a a discount store for pennies. I cant even imagine needing to spend almost 50 bucks for a bra. I will no longer complain about my 40 D's knockin me out! I used to be a 34-36 B before all the weight gain but I think now I have shrunk to a c+ because all my bras are gettin baggy in the cup.

    Well my week has totally been off! I usually exercise about 5-6 days a week, this week I have only exercised 3x so far. We had this huge storm start on Tuesday night and had over a foot of snow by Wednesday afternoon. I spent a lot of time shoveling and digging my car out from being stuck 4x I have been exhausted and sore since. I sure hope shoveling, etc burns enough calories for this week. Not to mention it is below zero right now, with the wind chill it is -20 degrees - blah! Sometimes I just hate the midwest so much I could scream. To any of you living in a warm climate state..can I come stay with you for the winter? lol!

    WOW.. ladies... it is easy to miss a day and you get behind...

    First! I bought the 14's!!! Muffin top an all!! The will stretch out alittle... thank god..

    Second ... I wore them out last night with a tight long sleave turtle neck sweater shirt... ( I wore a high top girttle.. it was great.. hide my muffin, made it smooth. ) I HAD A FIGURE!!!!!! Do you see that smile.. ummmmha!!

    Any way it was my girlfriends Birthday part ( she is a cute skinny B...) love her.. all the ladies were that.. They were surprised at how good I looked... any way we started at Stonewoods for few drinks then went to a place called Daisy Dukes... my first time there... sports bar atmosphere.. ladies night... drinks free.. OMG.... I am getting to the GOOD STUFF>..be patient!!

    Okay.. one of the ladies had paid for a stripper for the BD girl!! LOL... we all went off in another room, people could still see in through the door windows..
    OMG... he was the Hottest 36 yr old young man I have seen... what a BODY!!! WHAT an ***!! I have that visual engraved in my mind ... forever!! DRUL DRULL... anyway... HE was good... he could shake that ***..
    He came in dresses as a FIREMAN!! UHM.. His performance was fantastic...
    youve never heard so many middle age women, screaming... laughing...

    NOW... HERE IS A FIRST THAT WAS NOT ON MY LIST ... IT IS NOW ... BUT I CAN CHECK IT OFF OF DONE!! My firlfriend pulled me in and he gave us both a lap dance.... WOWOW... you bet I was touching that body... I may be old but I am not DEAD!! LOLOLOl... My checks (on my FACE) hurt from laughing so much!!

    Anyway... I thought you all would get a kick out of my evening adventure... Did was quite hung over this morning though! And sore from yesterdays bootcamp... LOL...

    Finally a little break!! Lost 2.2 this week!! It has taken 5 months to lose 27.5, well I guess that is better than gaining and I am almost at my Christmas goal, I need to lose 3.6 in the next couple weeks and now my treadmill got put up because of my Christmas tree!!

    Hi everyone, I hope your doing good. I really enjoy reading up on the post and seeing how everyone's doing, even though I don't reply to everyone individually. This thread really makes it all more enjoyable.

    I'm skipping my weigh tomorrow, cuz my freaking aunt flow is will be here then and she always screws it up. Sooooo, I will weigh in 1 week and 2 water pills from now. LOL.

    Lejune, I'm glad you had a nice trip get some rest.

    ...to my 1st list, I am adding wear an itsy bitsy yellow polka dot bikini. My other one is a halter top and shorts. I want to look good in a real skimpy one too.
