Phentermine is part of the California Court forms

Hello! I was searching on internet at Los Angeles Superior Court and I found phentermine is already as part of the Civil forms application for claims..
Someone know anyhitng about it?
I went for a general check out to my doctor, and he told me not to take ever again phentermine is really bad for the blood pression and big risk for heart attack..
I was wondering to go back on phentermine but I am not sure now..

That document looks to be part of the FenPhen (or whatever it was called) situation. Phentermine was not the bad part of FenPhen.

Other than that, I don't know what that document is... it seems to verify that whoever was in charge of mailing something knew the date it was supposed to be mailed...

Mischieve, I see a date of 1998 on the forms in the pdf. I'm thinking you noticed that as well.

Cristi, Mischieve is right, this pdf is about FenPhen; it mentions Fen on page 5. Here's a quote from wiki's Phentermine page which explains the lawsuit a little better: "In 1997 after 24 cases of heart valve disease in Fen-Phen users, fenfluramine and dexfenfluramine were voluntarily taken off the market at the request of the FDA. Studies later proved that nearly 30% of people taking fenfluramine or dexfenfluramine had abnormal valve findings. The FDA did not ask manufacturers to remove phentermine from the market."

I have a heart murmur, aka "abnormal valve," which has never caused one moment's trouble in 40 years. But my heart murmur puts me into that high-risk group with FenPhen.

Cristi, find out more from your doctor. Is he confusing Phen with FenPhen? Do you have an existing heart issue? Do you have high blood pressure? Ask.

Thanks so much guys for the information..I didn't heard about FenPhen.. My regular doctor (not the one who gave me phentermine) told me not to continue with phentermine because is danger for our heart and our blood preassure. I didn't check my heart, but the time I was taking phentermine I felt as my heart was beating so fast, I could heard it at night when I was sleeping.. ;(
