You have to be approved by a doctor if you have any medical problems. You have to take 2 of their supplements a day which when I did it was $14 a week extra on top of what you paid.I did lose 14lbs the first month but I got sick (not from their program) and was put in the hospital on a strict diabetic diet and didn't have the supplements and I gained 5 lbs back so that made me think if you don't take them when you get off the program your going to gain the weight back. So I quit going after a few months. But I wish you luck if you try it.

There was recently a "dateline type show" on about them saying that they are scam artists, basically. The weight loss counslers do not have any special education in nutrition and the training they go through is to teach them high pressure sales techniques so they can sell you their overpriced extras.
I have had a couple of friends go and say pretty much the same things that the show way saying. I don't know from personal experience, but I would say buyer beware.

my cousin did la weightloss and lost tons of weight, she does NOT take weightloss pills because she believes they are probably all bad (which i think is smart) so she didnt have to take the supplements. i dont know much about the pricing but the diet is a great life style change, she did it in 2004 and still hasnt gained it back, i did it with her for a few months and lost lots of weight (i lost the diet guide so didnt continue) of course i was sing a copy she gave me. its not good for people who dont want to change every aspect of theyre eating habbits. it requires keeping a log of food (which we should all do already) and following a pretty easy decent flexible diet booklet. hope thsi helps

about being a scam because they have no qualifications, i wouldn't know about that but i do know theyre diet plans work from experience, i never did deal with the assistance, i went with her once and they had her check in once a week to weigh and track her progress (which doesnt take much education) they helped motivate her plenty and i remember her mentioning something about 24 call service incase you want to binge they convince you not to (which i think sounds funny) i remember the snacks were expensive, when i did it i found the southbeach diet snack bars were basically the equivalent, they focus on low sodium food (limiting frozen foods dinners and can foods) which taught me plenty and helped me. however i didnt pay a dime! thanks to my beloved cousin

It costs entirely too much money! Weight Watchers works though. I have done it online before, but I'm just not as motivated now as I was then or I would start it up again... and it's affordable!

I went to LA weightloss and lost about 30 pounds. You have to buy bars that are really expensive and the diet is kinda rough to follow. It cost me over 1800 dollars, I just think of it as a very expensive way to lose 30 pounds!

My best friend has lost almost 35 pounds on LA Weightloss. She does eat the bars but she doesn't take any supplements. She does follow a plan. It works for her! She is very happy!

I was on LA Weight Loss years ago and lost 25 pounds. Yes, the program is way too expensive and they encourage you to purchase their bars and food. Have also tried WW but the weight comes of very slow and again with the meeting fees and bars - it is less expensive than LA Weight Loss.

What is the difference between WW and LA weight loss? Why pay the higher price if you do the same thing at WW (watch what you eat and weigh in weekly)? This guy at my job said he is on LA weight Loss now and he paid for a 52 week program expensive. When I was in college a friend of mine did it and she loss weight but I remember her paying a lot of money just to basically cook your own food and watch what you eat.
