Hey teach, I was the same way when I lost only 11 lbs in the first month (well not quite a full month). But what I have realized is, the more you weigh, the more weight that comes off. Some people lose 20 lbs in the first month, but it seems as if those people weigh more. So props to us for 11lbs. We started at the same weight and are the same now. (I last weighed on 10/5, I am only weighing once a month when I go to the doctor...I would much rather see an 11 lb loss than a 1 lb here and 1 lb there) Anyway, we are on track to be down 30 lbs by Christmas. I have been on phen for 5 weeks today, so we had to have started around the same day. After losing the first 11, I figured at a loss of a little over 1.5lb a week, it will be a total of 30 by Christmas!!! Looking at it like that seems so much better, doesn't it? Congrats on your 11 lbs!
Welcome to everyone else who just started!

So I have an appt. on Friday to get back on Phen. I can't wait! I'll be back on the forum after I receive my script, but I wanted to share a few things I learned...Firstly DRINK YOUR WATER, not only is this essential to your weight loss but in my personal experience helps, if not eliminates, almost ALL of the side effects of Phen. Secondly, there are differences in the different kinds of generic pills. When I say "kinds" I'm talking manufacturers. I got one prescription at a little mom and pop pharmacy and they worked great (this was the 2 months I lost 20lbs)...took a few months off (per dr's orders)...got my second prescription filled at Target, they were crap. I took the entire 2 month prescription and maybe lost a pound AND I couldn't even tell when I had taken it. No energy boost or any of the side effects. I doubt it was immunity because I had only done one 2 month round and then took 2 months off before starting my second round. So my advice is this, if you have a generic and it seems to be working good for you make note of the imprint on the pill and look up who the manufacturer is and when you get a refill just ask the pharmacist if those are the same ones they have in stock. If not make some calls to see if another pharmacy has them. Seems like a lot of work but after my depressingly bad second round I don't wish that on anyone!
