Thank you for the words of encouragement ladies I really appreciate it.

Brand New - honey, as Suite said, this too shall pass.

I agree with LeJune men had to go to some type of MESSY SCHOOL to annoy the heck out of us..lol
Do what I do, dont clean for a few days and see what he does. My hubby will say this place looks a mess, and I say Uh Huh - and he looks and its all his things thrown around and he gets to cleaning it up.. PUNISHMENT...LOL

Suite Im on no particular diet plan. My Dr gave me some guidelines that werent too restictive, the only no-no's were the refined sugars, white bread, pasta, and red meat.
Ive tried atkins several times and every time Ive lost weight. I just get too BORED with it...lol Thats probably why I dont like eggs anymore...lol

Ive been eating oatmeal, special k cereal, salads, grilled chick and shrimp, veggies, brown rice, soup, lean cuisines, and smart ones. Nothing too exciting.lol

Brand New's Island diet sounds good. Definitely sounds better than Atkins.

    Hey, ladies!!!!

Sorry for the brief post tonight but I am beyond tired!!!!

Val - Glad to see and hear from you. I hope that the studying goes well and you can get the exam behind you soon. I'm not going to tell you I started to try and find you in our database. I think I almost got it figured out. LOL! J/K! Miss you, girl!

Brand New - The Island Diet sounds yummy and nothing that would deprive. Also seems to be working VERY well for you!!!! That's awesome!

And honey you are NOT alone!!! My fiance is super duper messy!!!! I hate it!!! But I absolutely love him. I know you know the feeling. I love my "girl time" and "me time." We all need it to maintain our sanity. Do NOT feel guilty about it!!!!

Brooklyn - I used to work in a real estate title insurance company office. I know how stressful buyers get when their closing date is either jeopardized or pushed back due to things out of their control. You get so close you can smell it...and then something postpones it. But you have the right attitude. Your blessing is for YOU! And so it will be in His timing! I can't wait for the ink to be on the paper for you. This is such an exciting time!!!!

Suite - Hey, girl!!! How are you doing with cleaning up the eating? Knowing you...doing well, I'm sure! To answer your question... My general rules of thumb no fried foods, no heavy or creamy sauces, high protein, low fat, lots of veggies, fruits, yogurt, no soda (not even diet), unsweet tea, and...that's pretty much it. Oh yeah... mostly fish and white chicken. No sweets, salty snacks, and limited alcohol. When I actually DO it... It works well. LOL!

LeJune - You are so inspirational!!! Thank you! You are inspiring me to get my booty back in gear. Your success inspires me to be successful. Thank you SO much!!! How is everything going with you?

Well, I have not only fallen off the wagon, but I rolled underneath the wheel and was trampled! *sigh* Getting back in gear has been more difficult than I imagined. I haven't taken my Phen since Saturday (the last time I worked out), I've been eating LOADS of candy EVERY single day at work, I've had liquor, french fries, a McDonald's Angus burger, a brownie, pizza, and lots of stress!!!! Oh...and regular soda!!!! Did I mention the regular bagel with full fat cream cheese?! Argh!!!! I'm up on the scale. I feel like a freaking failure!!! I go back to the doctor on November 13th and I cannot go back having gone up! I have 2 weeks and a day to lose 11 pounds. (He said he wanted to see a loss of 5 pounds). *sigh* I will NEVER make my birthday goal of 185 at this rate. I think I'm going to cry myself to sleep now. *sigh* Talk to you all tomorrow.

SuburbanMom - we need an intervention. Are you still taking phen? If you are then it has stopped working because you shouldnt even really want to eat when it is effective. Take a few days off and DONT BE SO HARD ON YOURSELF. Take a few minutes to regroup...think about your goals..think about how far you have come and where you want to be. Focus on how good it feels when you are making and have made really good choices. I am struggling too...so you are seriously not alone...I ate crappy yesterday..and its time to go back to my Dr for my checkup and I want to show a nice loss for him. But, I SERIOUSLY need to take a break from the phen. It is just not working AT ALL!! So, I am going to take 2 weeks off..I have none left..and then go back to the Dr. I have to get this right...WE WILL!! Let's just take it one meal at a time. (((hugs))) I send those with lots of love cause I am feeling just as you are right about now. Today is a new day and I promise myself to be great.

BrandNew - that diet sounds alot like clean eating...and alot like the old CORE plan with Weight Watchers. Get to drinking that water woman! As for messy men..ugh my husband leaves his clothes on the floor wherever he took them off...and I wake up to a mess every morning when I come downstairs because he is up late watching tv and eating junk...lol..ughhh..

Bklyn - How are you today? I hope you check in. Do you have any idea of how to get in touch with Tequila or Newbie - just to see how they are?

Suburban Mom – Don’t you dare wimp out on yourself or us. You can do this. If you get 5 pounds within your goal weight for your birthday that will be equally as good? Come on—we are pulling for you. If you haven’t taken it today. Take the pill tomorrow—I wouldn’t want you to be up all night if you took it right now. Get your water in. You are doing good a bump in the road is a good way for you to look back and re-examine your goal and press forward. You can’t cry over spilled milk. Girl—fight for your body! YOU CAN DO THIS!

BrandNew – Get your water in. I have been slacking off too. We have to do better.

Suite – You’re right ONE MEAL AT A TIME. When you get ready to eat think about what the ingredients will do for your body. Last night hubby was being nice and bought me some shrimp tempura sushi. I know he meant well but doesn’t have a clue as to what type I like or anything. I sat there and looked at all that white rice on those 12 pieces and was flat out debating in my mind what to do. SO, I ate two pieces and told him I was full and thanked him for being so thoughtful. He put the rest in the refrigerator. I will get home before he does tonight and get that temptation out of the house.

I think my major issue is not moving consistently. I did go this morning and a little last night but nothing major.

I have had my Brown Cow Yogurt this morning. I think I have another in the refrigerator. They are having pasta today here at the office so I will be running downstairs for rotisserie chicken and maybe a salad.

This morning I saw a fatality accident on my way to work. I was talking to my girlfriend Pat who lives out of town now and we both concluded that we have to live life to the fullest each day because you never know. Who would have thought after I left from seeing my husband in the hospital that the guy would turn into me and hit me head-on. I am so blessed that all I had was a broken tibia and fibula. I so appreciate the activity of my legs now. I still am dealing with the scars on my leg but it says I am alive! Since I am still alive—I can do something about right now and change my tomorrow. Basically, what I do today will impact my tomorrow and future. What I want for my future is to be 175—so I got to make the right decisions today good or bad that will help my tomorrow. At times it is so hard and I mess up and fall but I get back up.

    Be encouraged everyone!

Hi Everyone, I would really like to join the thread. I am trying to get to 180 by Christmas. I am currently 195, so that's eight weeks from now, which would be about 2 lbs a week for a total of 16 lbs. I have been doing pretty good with the water and work out this week but the food is another story. I have got to get this under control. Well off to clean the kitchen and then the gym.

    Good Afternoon Ladies!!!
Ive been busy at work all day, with no time to check in with you guys.

Welcome Waiting2xhale - im sure you will love this thread, the girls and real and very supportive. Congrats on your weight loss so far, im sure now with a bit more focus and kick it into overdrive over the holidays, you can definitely get to your goal. Im rooting for you

LeJune-thank you for perspective! we only get one life, we have to make the best out of each day because we are not promised tomorrow. Blessed you are indeed!
I had that issue in the beginning too with not going regularly. I used benefiber in my water and activia for about a week and it worked great for me.

Suite - Your hubby sounds like mine, staying up late nights and eating and making a mess..lol what do you do with them??? lol
It is all you can do to wake up every morning and promise youself to be a better you. This journey is hard for several reasons, and I think the main reason is that its 90% mental and only 10% physical. You WANT to lose, you WANT to be healthy, you have the ability to exercise, but MOTIVATION comes from within and mentally we have to be on our A GAME 24/7. And because we are human we are not going to be up for it ALL the time. So the times we are not, we just have to allow for the mistake and get back on track. Getting back on track is the name of the game here. If you fall off a bit, ok, but then you HAVE to get back on it because you will undo all the wonderful progress you've already made.

Im not sure where Newbie or Tequila is hiding. I hope they check back in soon.

Suburban - I totally agree with Suite with the whole intervention (im leaving on the Midnight Train to GEORGIA) to come beat you. You can bring it back together. You are going to have to do it to meet your goal honey. I know you WANT this. SO you HAVE to do it for you! No more McDonalds, pizza, soda, brownies. Like Suite said, one meal at a time. Lets try to schedule/plan our meals in advance so we wont be left making fast/unhealty choices. Ive been doing this for a while. I pretty much plan a weeks worths of meals so I know exactly what to buy from the grocery store. If you eat any meals at work like I do, make sure you stock up on your healthy foods on Monday for the week. That way you are not left with an excuse to eat the wrong thing. Just little tips to help. Its not easy. WE ALL KNOW its not Easy. Ive been on the weight rollercoaster for a long time now and its just time to regain control.

Val - Its GREAT to hear from you, I wish you luck!!!

Im wishing everyone nothing but success. FAILURE IS NOT AN OPTION!!!!

It is good to know that I am not the only one with a messy husband. I am feeling much better today then yesterday. Yesterday I was just going through it, so thanks all for your encouraging words.

    Waiting2xhale-Welcome to the group
Suburban- We all have our moments, when we fall and feel like we can't get up. So, you have had a week full of eating whatever. Stuff happens, but you got to keep it moving. Remember you cannot turn back the clock, but you can wind it up again.
Suite: I am forcing the water down so much that I cannot be to far from the bathroom. LOL!

Good Morning, Ladies! I am up super early. Have no idea why - but I have been up since 3. Oh well, I guess I will will be in bed early tonight or taking a nap...lol. Yesterday was a good day...today is another battle...but I got this...because I WANT THIS!!

Yesterday I put on a pair of jeans and they felt wonderful...loose. I was totally thrilled. The best part was that I remember when I bought those pants a size bigger (16) and wanted to fit into them. Well, I fit in to them and then went and bought them in a 14 to shoot for fitting into them...and bought the 12 and now fit in to them. The 14's were the ones that I had on yesterday and were loose. It felt sooooooooooooooooo good. =) I am passing my stuff on to my cousin's wife. She has lost 80 lbs - she did the lap band and is now 1 size away from me. So she gets all my clothes. Yesterday was the motivation I needed - funny how things go.

LeJune - Last night as I was on my way home I called and my husband and he sounded so happy to tell me that he bought me my favorite Apple Turnovers!! I wanted to cry...I was like ughhh..I was having such an awesome day. He bought 4 and I had one and then I told him please dont ever buy them again...lol..I was so serious that he had to laugh and give me a hug. I am still smiling just repeating this story because he was so proud that he did that...men are just so clueless sometimes.

Bklyn - I agree with planning ahead it really is important.

Well, I gotta get my lil boy up and ready for school so I will definitely check back in after my workout.

Hello Ladies! I am new to the Forum and to Phen, but I love the enthusiasm on this thread and I need the accountability! I am so sick of the yo-yo'ing. My heaviest weight was 247 and I lost 38 pounds on Weight Watchers, but I still find myself hungry. My doc put me on Phen 37.5 and I know it is helping. 10pounds in 2 weeks. My appetite is my biggest roadblock.

I am looking to hit ONEderland by Christmas. I can't even remember what it's like to weigh under 200 pounds. I workout 4x a week...cardio, circuit training, weights.

My hubby is in Afghanistan until December, so I have been working on me. Thanks for allowing me to jump in. I need some positivity to keep me going!

Much success to everyone! Thanx a bunch!

    Good morning everyone,

Joyinabasket: Congratulations on your weight loss so far. You are doing wonderful. Your husband is going to be really surprise to see the new transformation upon is return. Good luck on this journey!!!

BrooklynMom32: Congratulations on your 3lb weight loss!!!What kind of diet and exercise plan are you following? 3lbs in a week is good.

SuiteLady: You are doing excellent. It really feels good to be losing inches even though the pounds may not always fall away.

BrandNewMe: It seems like you are doing really well with your water intake. I am still working on that.

It seems like everyone is planning out there menu for the week. I am definitely going to try ladies. I have gotten down to 195 and have been here for at least the last 3 months. I really got comfortable I think and I was undergoing stress. However, I am ready to tackle this again. You ladies seem so encouraging and you are all doing a fantastic job losing weight, which shows me that you guys are doing something right. I feel like I've come to the right place to see this journey through.

Brooklyn – You go girl! Congratulations! That is absolutely wonderful! Onederland—here you come!

Suite—too funny. Yep, men do not have a clue. OMG!!! I am so happy for you and those size 12’s. WOW!!! Yep, give those clothes away. You did REAL GOOD with the Apple Turnover. So proud of you—keep it up!

SuburbanMom – Check in we want to make sure you are doing okay.

Mischieve – those dang blasted doctor’s scales. It probably was white jacket syndrome. I can be calm and relaxed but as soon as they put the blood pressure cuff on me—my blood pressure goes up. LOL. So that’s where that pound came from—white jacket syndrome. You will loose that and be in Onederland before the end of next week.

Waiting2xhale – I am with you. I need to make a plan for the week as well. This month we will do better. You are getting closer and closer to goal. Keep going!

BrandNew – Glad you upped the water and had a good day. LOL.

Joyinabasket – Welcome! Onederland is definitely doable by Christmas you are not that far away! Hubby is coming home YAY and will so glad to see you!

Last night, I got a large chicken ceaser salad from LaMadeline and could not eat it all. That figures. Hubby works late on Mondays, Thursdays and Fridays hubby works open to close. So, he asked what do you want me to bring you home to eat, I was like nothing. But he did bring me some Smart Water. I know it doesn’t make me any smarter I just like the fact that it is 33.8 oz and if I fill it up with the filtered water here three additional times, I get my water in for the day. It’s a mind trick. LOL. That’s probably why I hadn’t been getting my water in like I should have because I threw away my old bottle.

I told you all about the accident morning; well it was a well known attorney here in Houston and his assistant/driver/body guard. So sad—neither had their seatbelts on.

Okay, I got to get a plan for Thanksgiving. Of course with the turkey, dressing, sausage & wild rice, fried cabbage (yes, I am in the south), candied yams, greens, wheat Hawaiian rolls, my husband’s mom sweet potato pies and Italian cream cake—I have to get a plan. Sounds like I am cooking a lot right—my husband will go through this stuff in a week. I usually get sick of looking at it by the 3rd or 4th day.

My goal for the end of the year is to be 215 or so. I am just trying to be realistic along with the holiday dinners.

Sorry for the long post! Happy Friday everyone.

LeJune - Your story brought tears to my eyes. Thank you so much for sharing. You truly put a light in a very dreary period in my life. I thank you SO much for that. (((hugs))) You have a light that shines even through my fading laptop.

Brooklyn - Congrats on 222. Why am I hearing a rap song in my head all of a sudden? Rick Ross, the Boss??? LOL!!! But seriously, that is a major accomplishment! I'm so proud of you!!! That makes me want to get up and do something about this pit I've fallen in. And no.... You don't have to come down here and kick my behind. LOL! But I appreciate the offer. Hope you enjoyed your Friday.

Joy - Congratulations on your progress so far! You seem to be on the right track and only picking up speed and momentum! I hope it's contagious because I have a lofty goal for myself by the year's end! Again... WELCOME to our Sisterhood!!!

Waiting - Welcome (AGAIN!!!) Have you sat down and planned out your menu for the week yet? I definitely need to do the same thing!!!! I don't like having to think about things on the fly and I don't like having temptation sitting just a few feet away in the vending machine at work without being armed with the good stuff!!!

Okay... I didn't THINK I was going to be long-winded but... Whatever! You ladies know I'm the talker...ranter...chatter box....flutter-bye of the group! LOL!!!! Funny, my co-workers say that about me in the office. LMAO!!!

Well, things are getting somewhat better for me. OF COURSE...I did NOT make my Halloween goal. And I can't even tell if I've managed to maintain or if I truly gained. I only know it's one or the other. Incoming TMI... (You've been warned)... I already had "issues" going on a regular basis. Without Phen I would literally only go once a week (sometimes even less) but now I'm lucky if I can go once in 10-14 days. Earlier this month I had to take magnesium citrate and it only worked "just so well." So, the menu I'm working on this week is definitely HIGH fiber and I'm going to have to find a cup or tumbler that makes drinking all my water a lot easier!!! If I have to get up to refill more than once a day, I will NOT do it! Sad...but true.

I'm under a LOT of stress right now! Work is absolutely fantastic (again) so that helps. But I've got some family stuff going on that I need to resolve very soon. My mother (love her to pieces) is so positive and uplifting, but I don't think she truly realizes the magnitude of everything going on in my life. But I know she means well. Then again, it could just be that her direct connection to "The BIG guy" is clear while mine has static. LOL!!!! But I will remain faithful and steadfast.

FI and FBIL went to the Florida v. Georgia game this weekend so it's just me and small fry. We have been enjoying each other today though we've both missed Daddy. We got dressed to go to the gym this morning but I did NOT realize how late it was. It was after 9 when I got him out of the house. I had a great breakfast (and remembered to take my Phen for the first time in about 5 or 6 days) but after running to the credit union, getting gas, picking up a toy for my girlfriend's son's birthday, and chatting it up with my FI's grandmother for almost an hour...I completely lost track of time!!! So I did NOT make it to the gym. However, I WILL make it in the morning. So with that said... I'm off to bed.

    I love you all!!!!

Sorry so very, very long! Wait...no I'm not! LOL!!!

Hey Suburban!!! Girl we have been missing you.

Stress can really be overwhelming and send you down a major down spiraling road if you let it.

I sure hope you get a breakthrough.... My friend that is a personal traininer says if you aren't moving you aren't loosing. LOL

We lost a case on Friday so 2 of my guys will be back in the office. One is very jumpy and scary. LOL. I love it--I scare the mess out of him everytime I ask him something. Oh boy. He doesn't look me in the eye, always twitching and has a short fuse. Not with me. I think he is afraid that this fat woman will knock him over the desk. LOL.

Hopefully, he will be low key neck week and gets some rest--he has been gone for a month.

Saw my friend Tina last night. We stayed and talk until about 2 1/2 hours. Dang, I miss her. She is thinking about going to NY with me and J for her birthday in January but snapped to reality and realized that it is cold and it probably will be snowing. LOL. I did good I did not eat too much. Today, I went to Saltgrass and had the steak, grilled shrimp and vegetables. I also had the potato soup--I couldn't resist and a little piece of the bread with honey butter. I didn't have my pill today because I woke up early at 5 stayed up until 7. Then I was out until 11:45.

I have been clearning up and washing for most of the afternoon and watching I didn't know I was pregnant on TLC. I keep saying God I wish it was me. But that's a whole different story and I know no one wants to hear me whine tonight. But it definately gives me hope!

Remember to turn your clocks back one hour tonight for those of you whose states do.

    Happy Sunday morning ladies!!!

Halloween came and went without too much hassle. I took the kids to a haunted house and we went trick-or-treatin at the mall for a while. So they have too much candy and I only had 2 fun size kit kats..LOL. YEAHH!!!!

Welcome Joy - Onderland is definitely doable by Xmas, hubby will get an awesome present I wish you all the best in reaching you goals.

Waiting2Xhale - Thank you I go to the gym and do combo cardio/strenght training classes 5 days a week (no exceptions), I also walk to and from the gym every day, so thats an addtl 20 min cardio. I think thats the biggest part of this journey for me. The Phen totally curbs my appetite, so I can make better choices. WATER, WATER and more WATER is KEY. I drink 8 -16 oz poland spring bottles per day, sometimes 10 if I can get it in. Im not on any particular diet, just no pasta, white bread, sugar, no red meat, no coffee, not too much salt, lots of veggies, fruit, turkey, chicken, fish, oatmeal, special k cereal. A couple of times already Ive had cake, wine, mexican, but It was a small amount, and the next day I was back at the gym and I didnt beat myself up at all about it. Everything in moderation. If I feel resticted that will make me want it soo much more. But learning to make this a lifestyle change is the ultimate challenge for me. I need to make sure what Im doing now, I can maintain forever. So trial and error for me.

LeJune - that is so sad about that accident victim (seal belts are so important)

Hey, ladies! Well... We made it to November!

LeJune - How's it going today? And like you... I LOVE that show!!! But it amazes me how people don't know they're pregnant their ENTIRE pregnancy! I don't judge. I just find it interesting. And if you want to "whine..." I'm all ears!!! (((hugs)))

Brooklyn - Thanks! I've been meditating on it. But you? You are so inspirational! And I LOVE the idea of a challenge between you and your hubby!!!! I guess that would motivate me too but I'd be so afraid that FI would win. He's actually a person who ENJOYS working out! Jerk! LOL!!! Sometimes I wish I had whatever it is that makes him want to push himself. *sigh*

Val - I'm glad you checked in. I like that attitude! Yes! November is here! A new month! A new beginning! (((hugs)))

Speaking of November... Have we started setting new goals for ourselves yet? I've been half-heartedly thinking about it and I think for November, I'm setting a goal of getting to 190. Since I pretty much WASTED time in October, I have to start anew! And I'd better take FULL advantage of it too! My doctor said he will only keep me on Phen for another month before he's forcing me to take a break. So... I'd better get on it for real!

Today was a no-go. I woke up mentally motivated when my body shut that down! Apparently mommy got baby's cold. NOT the best way to start the day, month, or week out. But... Hopefully I won't get too sick. He did have a fever for about 5 or 6 days but since then mostly congestion and a runny/stuffy nose. PLEASE pray that it doesn't get bad for me. Anyway, I didn't make it to the gym today but I did take my Phen and watch what I ate (for the most part). I hope I feel well enough to at least do 20 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weight-training tomorrow.

Hope everyone is well! FI is back from his boy's weekend and I'm running out to grab things for lunch and snacks and diapers and wipes! LOL! Check in with you later!

    Hi Ladies,

I worked 13 hours last night instead of 12.Ugggh. Oh boy, I was so disappointed when the strike struck 0200 and we had to go back. I was groaning inwardly. Oh well, I guess an extra hour of pay isn't to bad.. You ladies are so inspiring. I am going to sit down tonight and plan ahead.

Goal for the week: Drink 100 ounces of water each day. Exercise 4 days per 40 minutes at the gym and stay within 1500 calories, limiting concentrated sweets. I am go game for this week!!

    Hey everyone!

Suburban - I need to get in the gym too. Starting tomorrow. Hubby will be a basket case if I get up now and go. Plus I have homework. So glad you are back. I will whine on another email.

Waiting2xhale - I was up at that time--sorry you had to work. I read somewhere you should drink half of your weight in water so if you weight 250--you should drink 125 oz in water. 100 oz should keep you running all week.

Val - we are routing for you. I would love to loose 30 by the end of the year too.

Brooklyn Brooklyn Brooklyn - girl buckle down to get those BOOTS!!!!

Today was a good day. Church was GOOD!!! Hubby and I went to eat and then to mall so that I could get a chair message and 5-HTP--I will let you know how it works for me.

I have a trip in December to New Orleans/Alabama. Oh by the way, my pastor saw my weight loss today and turned around and said you look good--I can see it coming off. Thank God it was said off the mike. One other member that hadn't been in a while said the same thing--she said she will come by and workout with me some time.

I am so looking forward to seeing my daddy (grandfather) on this week--I have dropped about 15 pounds since he seen me last month. Hopefully he will notice.

I hope everyone is doing okay. This month will be best!!! If we fall--let's get back up!

Good morning everyone! Hope everyone had a fanastic weekend. I had a good weekend, but I am up one pound today. I am going into the clinic today to get back on my Phen, which I have not taken for about two weeks. I wanted to give my body a break. I am hoping to lose like 3-4 pounds this week, I am anxious to lose this 22.5 pounds to get me to 200!

Good Morning, Ladies! Just checking in really quick. I start my new block today so I have classes on Monday and Tuesday nights. I graduate in the Spring..FINALLY!!

My weekend was terrible...but I am good now..I think I got it all out of my system...feeling like garbage after eating garbage is just soooo not worth it. Today is a new day and the official beginning of my challenge for Thanksgiving. I am going to get in a workout this afternoon since my hubby is getting home early. They had a field trip today at my son's preschool and we have already been there so we stood home instead. So, my workout couldnt get done yet. I have to make an appt with my Dr to get my phen...but I am going to make it for another week away so that I would have had 2 weeks break and hopefully lose a few lbs before then.

Well, I shall check in again this evening from school.

I see we have a theme today.... New Beginnings! I absolutely love it!

Val - Your post made me smile. I feel that there is no better weapon than to lean on God's word and guidance. (((hugs)))

LeJune - I'm so excited for you that you'll be seeing your "daddy" this week! I know he'll be so happy to see his baby. Did you go to the gym this morning or are you going later today?

BrandNew - That 22 1/2 is already in your rearview! You can TOTALLY do this...and you WILL!!!!

SUITE!!!!! Girl, it DOES feel horrible after you've eaten horribly! And it always makes me think... "Why on earth do I do this to myself?" LOL! I'm silly like that and apparently a glutton for punishment. Did I know you were in school??? If you told me and I wasn't paying attention... I am so, so sorry! That is awesome!!!! Springtime is on it's way! Doesn't it feel awesome to finally see the light at the end of the tunnel???? Congrats, girl!

Well, I went to the store to simply pick up a few items and ended up buying breakfast, snacks, and lunch for the entire week. I just have to buy some more bottled water and I'll be set through til Saturday.

Oh... And that problem I was having was resolved this morning. I took some Daytime Alka-Seltzer medicine and then my Phen and... it did a number on my tummy! But I've eaten well...scrambled egg whites, turkey bacon, grapefruit slices, and some water. Not not nearly enough so I'm still working on it.

Well, just wanted to check in with y'all! Chat with you later!

Went to the clinic this morning. I am back on my Phen and I am feeling soooo good right now. I got my water in one hand and an apple in the other. I am really feeling motivated, as it seems like everyone else is.

LeJune- I so should have went to church this week. Your post reminded me that I need to get my spritual life in order.

Suburban-I went shopping too this week and picked up some bottled water. I figured I cannot eat well if I don't have the stuff on hand.

waiting2xhale- Maybe I should aim for 100 oz of water a day. Even if I don't make it, I probably will end up drinking much more than I do now.

Suite-I know you will be happy when school is over. Congrats! I finished grad school last year after going part time for three years! Oh, I am so feeling you on, this day being the beginning of your Thanksgiving challenge. I am buckling way down, so I can reach my goal of 199 before the New Year.

    Talking

    Hi everyone!!!

Suburban - I am delighted to hear you are happy!!!

    BrandNew - Work it!

Suite - I hope it works well with you in school!

Val - Doing great with the workouts.

I haven't worked out yet today. I am going this evening. I started the 5-HTP and I actually got some rest. Well, I didn't get to bed until 1 but afterwards I slept fine. LOL. I am looking forward to working out this evening.

I am back in the icebox (work) --sitting on my heating pad. I had soup at lunch with a co-worker.

Another non-scale victory -- I put on some 18 pants today and they have a buldge in the croutch. LOL So I am constantly pulling them up above my breast bone. LOL. I would be happy to lose 4-5 cup sizes. Let's put it like this I pay a lot of money for my bras to lock and load these babies. I can put at least dollar's worth of change up here--using nickles, dimes and pennies and THEY WILL NEVER FALL OUT. Unless you know--when you see me, you wouldn't know. When my grandmother (mommy) passed when I was 11 me and my birth mom both were wearing 34C. My mom (who lives out of state) is still small in the chest area--not me I go between a 42-44G.

One goal is to buy something that I can actually wear from Victoria's Secret.

LeJune, I can so relate too you. In high school, I was like 120pds in a 34DD. Now I am a 40DDD. I am getting smaller around, but it seems the cup size is taking a little longer (although they are getting roomy). LOL! It is all good, I feel out my shrits nicely. Husband calls me "Boobilicous". I put on a pair of capris the other day and the fit, a little snug, but they fit and were a 18. I am fitting a 20 nicely, which is great considering I was a 24 in July. Most of all my winter clothes from last year, I had to give away this year, so my closet is not up to par. Keep up the good work!

BrandNew--LOL. Thanks. I will have tons of clothes to give a way soon. I have bought a few sweaters in XXL but no bottoms yet, I guess I will just have to wear the skirts a little longer.

Today was an EXTREMELY busy day for me. One of the ladies in my section left sick from the blizzard area we work in. The other lady -- had to prepare one of her ladies to go out of town with five boxes of documents. So that left me with the other 11. I only had my Brown Cow Maple Yogurt this morning and then a few minutes ago hubby and I went to Buffalo Wild Wings.

I am in midst of doing homework so I won't have a chance to work out tonight. I will make up for it tomorrow.

Suburban, BrandNew, Suite, Val, Waiting2xhale, Brooklyn, Joy, Michieve--how are you all today?

Hey, everyone! Just checking in for the first time. Sorry. I am TOTALLY not focused today on ANYTHING!!!! More of why later...

BrandNew - I'm so happy for your strides towards a better you! How amazing does it feel to put on your "big" clothes and see that you are no longer fitting them? Over the moon!!!

LeJune - You too!!! Congratulations, girl! I LOVE it!!!! Give 'em away! Give 'em away! But PLEASE....whatever you do...DO NOT PULL THOSE PANTS UP OVER YOUR BOOBS!!!! LMAO!!!! I almost cried when I read that. I TOTALLY envisioned that too! Ha! Thank you for the chuckle though. Get to that homework too! It's not gonna do itself! J/K! I hope you're able to get a great workout in tomorrow.

So... Okay. Here is one of my sharing moments... I was "romantic" with FI last night and he went RIGHT to sleep minutes afterwards! MEN! Argh! But then I was awake until 4:30 AM. Oh... Did I mention that I get up at 5:30 for work? Argh! I'm stressing over moving from the home where I've lived for the last 3 1/2 years. This was my place before I even met FI...the first place I owned. Now we've made a decision to sell and rent something else. This is purely a financial decision!!!! We really want to be able to pay for our wedding next year without asking our parents for toooo much assistance. Of course my Daddy wants to foot most of the bill...which is fine by me (LOL!!!) but FI is a man and he wants to show our parents that he is a good provider. I want to yell at him, "They get it, babe! They love you! They know you take excellent care of me and the little guy. " But...he's a man. So I don't say anything that would bruise his fragile male ego. LOL!

Anyway... I'm incredibly stressed right now. I want to move some time between Thanksgiving and Christmas so our holidays are not interrupted. He wants to go ahead and move and basically get the move over with. The problem is finding something we can both live with for 2-3 years. Neither of us likes to move and definitely do NOT want to do it again until WAY after the wedding (November 26th of 2010). But... I can't even think about it right now. Right now... I just need to sleep. *sigh*

I hope everyone is well!! Talk to you tomorrow.

Hi everyone just checking. I managed to get to the gym for an hour tonight, so I am proud of myself for that. I dranked about 70 ounces of water. I am still working on the food though but I am going to conquer this sweet craving beast inside!!lol.

SuburbanMom: I can totally feel you about the men going to sleep afterwards. Arrgh!lol. I was thinking about moving too, but I didn't want to move around the holidays because I was thinking about having to do my Christmas shopping and all. I think my move will probably be around the first of the year.

Welcome Miss Texas, glad to have you aboard.

LeJune: I just got through helping my son with his homework. Now, I am off to do some review on some things for work myself.

BrandNewMe: Congrats on your new pant size. I know before I lost the weight I was pushing a 22 myself. Now I am A 16-18. I carry a lot of weight in my hips that I wish would just go away.

I hope that everyone had a eating right, exercising, drinking water wonderful day!!! Good night ladies.
