    Just stopping in for a quick minute. First Thankyou ladies for keeping my girlfriend in your prayers. She has started physical therapy and on her way hopefully to a speedy recovery. Also I did do my 4 mile walk today so far.

    Surburban- Wow a size 12 I am so happy for you and so jealous I put on a pair of my jeans Monday night and they were a size 18 yes 18 and me and you are about the same weight . grrrrrrrrrrr I probably have to start really using weights more. Anyhoo girl please please please tell me your workout routine so I can maybe copy it and shed some of these inches off my booty. And how many calories are you eating a day. You are really getting ready to motivate my butt into high gear

    Hey Hey!! So, I am checking in a little later than I intended to. So far I have had a great workout...I did not start ChaLEAN yet. I am going to start tomorrow - I am about to read through everything and play the beginner DVD to get a little idea of what I will be doing. So, far today so good...still no sign of you know what aside from the bloat..but it should be here soon! Hopefully before Tuesday..because I am going to get on the scale then...lol

    Suburban - You are so cute! You look tall. Are you? So, how was your wine therapy?! lol Congrats on the 12..I tried on a pair last weekend and they fit...so I can pass on the 14's now. I am going to be coming out in my cousins wedding and his fiancee is super cool and we are like the best of friends..she had lap band surgery and is down almost 80 lbs...we are a size away from each other and have the same exact shape...hips and thighs and a small waist..so I have been passing on my stuff to her. lol...she will save it for my sis who is considering it. Too bad you are so far...cause I have tons and tons of jeans that I cant wait to get into....lol

    Newbie - glad to hear that she is improving. I will continue to pray for you and her every night. =) I think you are doing great with Leslie Sansone...try to get into the habit of adding some squats and lunges...I can recommed a good DVD - challenging but reallllly good. Kim Kardashian's Ultimate Butt Body Sculpt. Its challenging but it will definitely tone down your thighs..that is a major issue for me too. I am finally seeing definition in my calves and the line on the side of my legs...my legs are starting to look sercy!! lol...that is what is motivating me. Step aerobics is great too. Spinning is awesome. Even if you just add some sets of squats and lunges you will be doing a great thing.

    Suite thanks so much for the advice, I had alreeady thought about adding squats to my workout daily, so since you said that, I will add squats and lunges. I use to do them all the time when watching tv and commercials come on, I would do my squats while watching commerials, I never knew if it was working . It probably was.
    I am one of those person that can't see when my weight jumps up,but I also cant see when I lose it either. I can only tell by my clothes. So the squats might have helped before I just couldnt tell. So I will try to add it daily and also start my more intense weight tape . I cant wait to see how you like the Chalean tape, I think I will start my tape tomorrow also, since it is Saturday. Ok Honey I cant wait to hear all your updates and keep up the good work with the exercise you are doing. I cant wait until I am in the 80's with you. I hope I will be at least by halloween.

    Hi Ladies,

    Im almost done with month 4 and ive stalled with weight loss plus i have some other issues going on right now with (TOM) . Went to the doctors today for a Pelvic Ultrasound for testing because since i started Phen my monthly cycles have been crazy, so i think it's time for a Phen break for a couple of weeks or so but im not changing anything else.
    I'm still working out and watching my calorie intake. It was suggested by my doctor that i do a break for a few weeks if not longer. Im really afraid that if i stop i'll start to gain again. Im hoping for the best and keeping my head up , i'll still be here to chat with you ladies cause i need the support.
    All of my friends that has been over weight has resulted to weight Loss surgery and thier results are amazing. Im hoping that i don't give up on me and consider surgery myself. One good thing though is that my inch loss has been great , i can't believe it even though the scale isnt moving anymore i'm still losing inches and can't understand why? My doctor said that inch loss is body fat loss and thats a good thing. Oh well , at least im happy about that.

    Hey, ladies!!! I have to apologize in advance for being so short. I lost track of all time and I'm running late for something I need to do. Drats!

    Newbie - I'm glad your friend is coming around! God answers all prayers! We just have to remember to talk to Him!!! I know he has been speaking to me lately!!!

    How tall are you? I can never tell by looking at pictures, but maybe we're different heights? I'm "tall for a girl" i guess. LOL

    As far as my "diet" goes... I do NOT restrict carbs at all. I tried that once and it did NOT help! I also don't starve myself or try to stick to a ridiculously low number of calories! I eat LOTS of protein but low fat. The protein "feeds" my muscles and helps to give me a leaner look. I track my food on livestrong when I think about it and pay attention to fat content on food labels. My caloric intake averages 1400-1500 calories a day. So there may be a day when I eat 2000 calories, and another where I eat 1200, but at the end of the week, my overall average falls somewhere between 1400 and 1500. And I LOVE interval training on the treadmill followed by weights. I vary the weight amounts to keep my muscles guessing. HTH

    I know you're going to reach the 180s soon!!!! Keep going and keep your body guessing!!!

    Suite - You are too funny! Did I tell you I looked through your photos and your family is absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!!

    Aww... Thank you!! My wine therapy never happened. I got home and sat and chatted with FI for 3 hours! I didn't tell him it was the Phen that had me going nonstop. He just looked at me a little funny and laughed. I don't know why I haven't told him about it...well, yes I do. I haven't told him because I don't want him to look at me funny if I come up short. I may tell him...someday. We'll see. LOL!!!

    Have you tried the ChaLean yet? I'm so anxious to hear how it goes for you!! I need an alternative workout. Something new and challenging!!! I know you're going to do an awesome job and give me even more motivation!!!!

    To answer your question... I am 5'10.

    Val - I'm sorry to hear that you're having a hard time with the weight loss right now. I know how difficult it is when you stall. Are you particularly stressed? Maybe what you need is a little break from Phen, restricting calories, and excessive exercising. Maybe that will help you to relax a little bit. Then you can start back on track and jump start your loss again. (((hugs)))

    I think an inch loss is AMAZING!!!! I agree with your doctor! Sometimes you won't see a change on the scale but your clothes will begin to fit better. Keep your head up, honey!! And yes... We are here to support you! (((hugs)))

    Well, nothing much is going on here. I slacked a little bit the last few days. We went to The Taste of Atlanta and today I had the most amazing Caribbean food but now...it's back to eating better and trying to get some exercise in. PLEASE...wish me luck! I'm finally at 197.8 and I do NOT want to go back up! I really want to be in a 10 by Christmas!!!!!!

    Hi Ladies....

    I've been lurking on this thread and forum for a little bit and I would like to join your challenge. I've TRIED just about any and every weight lost program...and I know the only way I will conquer this battle is with support and accountability. You ladies seem like you have fun and are very supportive!!!!

    I think you all are doing the Halloween challenge...
    So..if you have anymore openings.. I'd like to join.
    (This is my first post in this forum...so excuse me if I don't have the lingo correct...lol)

    Stats
    -28 years old, Dallas Texas
    -I'm started phen like 4 months ago, but I've only taken about 60 of the pills. (I'm really bad with pills)
    -My starting weight was 204 and then I went up to 209. This weight was taken about a month or two before Phen.
    -My current weight is 190.5
    -I try to work out 3-4 times a week (I have a personal trainer)
    I know for sure my workout is not a problem...so I know that my eating is the problem.
    -I eat really good from Monday til Thursday..and then the social gatherings start Thursday night for happy hour and end Sunday with the after churchmbrunch. (Did I mention that I am single..with no kids) And Monday is usually the starting over day but because I hung out all weekend.. I usually am not prepared and don't have the right foods.
    -I'm not a big drinker...but I do find myself drinking more esp...when I'm at social events.

    Ok...now for my goals.

    -I would like to be 175 by Christmas (185 by Halloween)
    -Continue my workouts...and push it up to 5 times per week
    -Stay under 1500 calories per day
    - But that will of course require me to keep track of my food (This is prolly the HARDEST thing to do)
    I have a Body Bug that records calories expended..so I just need to log unto the system and track the calories that I eat.
    -Drink waaay more water
    -Eat more veggies, fresh fruit and protein (I am a carb addict and queen of the low calorie package food..partly because I am always on the go...and I prefer the convenience), I am going to figure out the exact amounts I need shortly.
    -Take my pills everyday (I take Phen 37.5, Magnesium Gluconate, Chromium Picolinate 5-htp given by the weight loss dr)..I have a multi-vitamin and Fish Oils..that I need to add. Did I tell you that I hate taking pills!

    You ladies have any advice for me??? I know I read something about the microwave egg white omelet... Thats a really good idea, because I am looking for a way to add more protein into my b-fast. Im going to try it.



    I'm finally tired of the yo-yo'ing and the starting again on Monday “of course”. I just want to be FREE of this addiction and make lifestyle changes.
    April 2009: Starting Weight 204
    May 2009: 209
    June: 204 (started PHEN...but sporadic use)
    Oct 2009: 190: (using PHEN regularly)

    Goal:
    Short Term: 175 by Christmas. (Me and the girls are having our annual party... I will NOT be fat for this)

    Hey, Jams! Welcome to our little circle! We're so glad to have you!!!

    The ladies here ARE very supportive! They help keep me motivated and when I fall off...help me get back on track. We share all our ups and downs, pitfalls and accomplishments. I think you'll like it here.

    Yes, the eggwhites in the morning! I LOVE them! You can also add salsa to them or fresh cut-up veggies. The salsa adds minimal calories and it's delicious!

    It sounds like you have the exercise part down. Trial and error, research, conscientious decisions will help make the "diet" part easier for you. It will take some time to figure out what works for you, but don't feel like a failure if you slip-up sometimes. We ALL do!!!! And we have lots of great suggestions between us so please ask away!

    Good Morning! Can you tell I was up to no good? I havent posted in a few days! Not because I didnt think of you all..I just was soooo guilty. I succumbed to the damn PMS and had apple pie ala mode..omg..it was delish...and I ate crappy..yesterday I felt back to normal and PMS is officially behind me. =)

    So, I am going to face the scale tomorrow...and wont disappear like that again...lol

    Val - a break may be just what you need. Just dont forget about us.

    Jams - Welcome! You are going to love it here...I do!

    Suburban - Thank you so much! My family is my world. I am just trying to learn to take care of myself too, without feeling guilty.

    How was everyone's weekend?

    SuiteLady, dont beat yourself us about the weekend, the most important part is that you refocus. Im sure you will be just fine, good luck with your workouts

    I wanted to report my official weigh in at the Dr on Saturday 10/10

    I started Phen on 9/26 at 244 lbs
    official weigh in on 10/10 232 lbs so that is 12lbs gone in 14 days, WOOHOO!! (there seems to be a 5lb difference between my scale and the dr scale)
    I got my first b12 shot and no difference to report, no big energy boost for me, but i am MOST energetic in the morning time anyway.

    Gym Schedule as follows:
    Monday - Interval training
    Tuesday - Kickboxing/Abs
    Wednesday - Mega Mix workout
    Thursday - Triple Fat Burner
    Friday - Body Bar Mega Mix

    I stay between 900-1000 cals a day (no cheating)
    I have oatmeal for breakfast or special k (1% milk, cant do skim.)
    lunch - salad w/ salmon, tuna or fresh turkey, or soup, or lean cuisine meals
    dinner - salad, fish or baked chicken, brown rice, and veggies
    water, water, and more water

    Im still focused and really happy to see the inital water weight come off so quickly, I know it will get a bit tougher in the next coming weeks.

    I hope everyone is doing well!!!

    My Halloween challenge is to be 220 LBS (huge challenge I know, but I have to try)

    I'm here I'm here. I don't have access at home and only able to log on durring the week (love my job) so sorry if I seemed MIA.

    JUST CALL ME DROOPY DRAWERS! I haven't had a chance to weigh myself but what I really need to do is measure! All my pants fit loose in the rear end! My "fat" jeans don't fit at all anymore and (I'm kind of reluctant to get rid of them yet) and my once known as "tighter" pants fit perfect (a little loose in the rear though). I look a little droopy but I'm sporting them anyway with a big ole smile. THAT'S MOTIVIATION, INSPIRATION, ALL THE ATIONS! I must be building muscle with all that resistance training I was doing because I'm going down in sizes but not much in weight.

    My car broke down and I wasn't able to get to the gym. That's 2 weeks and no gym but I feel more energetic than I did 2 months and my diet has changed for the better. Phen has really helped me re-focus on my health and get back into the mind-set I was in 4 years ago. I still have a long way to go but at least I'm on the right road!

    Thanks SUITE for calling me out, I appreciate that! I'm still hanging in there girlie. Talk about PMS, have you seen the movie "Fried Green Tomatoes"? The scene in the parking lot where the young girl took the parking spot Kathy Bates was waiting for. That happened to me at the gas station last month and I went CRAZY on the poor girl. She was young with her BF and had a jaw dropping "OMG, WHat did I just do" kind of look on her face. She took my spot while I was waiting for a gas pump and wasn't trying to move. I don't think she'll ever do it again. I was really really loud, she looked embarrased and moved. It was a bad phen/PMS rage, the worst I've had.

    Suburban: i just about spit water out of my mouth when I read your post. You crack me up! Glad to see your posts about dropping sizes. I just did too! Yeah us!

    Val - My cycles have been crazy since I started Phen. 2 TOM's the first month, 3 TOM's the second month! I took a 2 week phen break. So far, my cycle this month came early (after the 2 week break). My doctor couldn't find anything about their association. My ultrasound came back normal. She said it was my decision if I wanted to stop Phen. Glad to hear about you dropping an inch, that's wonderful!

    hey ladies, how is everyone ? thanks for the encouragement everyone , You guy's are so awesome!

    Surburbmom, your right stress is my thing right now and im slowly dealing with it by excercise. Don't worry ladies i'm not going anywhere , i'll be here daily checking in with everyone and hoping to overcome the mountain that's in may way.

    Also dealing with jealous boyfriend issues, Why can't men see your weight loss like everyone else? My boyfriend is a total jerk and i really need to move on but the comments that he makes are not encourageing to me at all. He keeps trying to hint around to weight loss surgery and im no fool , he thinks i can't do this on my on. But i'll show him that i can . I never mentioned anything about trying to lose weight until i dropped 20 pounds , then he noticed me getting thinner and asked what's diffrent. I never told him about the Phen but i told him that im on my journey to lose weight. Oh he made the worst comment ever " If you lose alot of weight , i'll marry you then" What a jerk , i looked at him and even though i didnt say anything it really hurt my feelings,
    Since then he's just made other little comments to me and i dont know what to think of him now.

    My girlfriend said that he's getting jealous because im losing and he's afraid of losing me of course. Ive been with him for tooooooo long i'm not even gonna tell you guy's but anyway just wanted to vent .

    Morning Ladies!! 1 lb gone! Surprising with the damage that I thought I did. So, I will take it. I think I am really starting to like ChaLEAN..I think its a KEEPER!!

    Val - I think that I would be so hurt to hear my man tell me something like that. My husband has always been supportive either way. He loves me either way. Even though in my mind I was so self-conscious and SWORE he was judging me he wasnt. Lately, he is noticing the differences and has even been complimenting me. Coming from him that is heavy - because it is just not in his nature to voice his feelings. lol
    But as for your boyfriend - you seriously do not need someone with those types of issues. Call it jealousy - but I say its deeper than that - it has to be - someone who loves you should want you to do it if anything for your health and not just your appearance. You are a very pretty woman (with the cutest toes lol) and I wouldnt wait..I think its time to move on. Please dont get me wrong I am all for couples working it out..but that just isnt nice..and surgery surely isnt a walk in the park..my best friend had it..and the way she has to eat...well, its tough and I dont know if I can live like that. Good for you for working on yourself....this journey for weight loss is so much more about ourselves inside than our appearance...I am learning so much more this time around. Thanks for starting this group. (((hugs)))

    Tequila - lol..yes...that is pretty funny PMS/Phen rage is pretty darn scary...I have had an episode or two recently. lol Sorry about your car..maybe you can get some exercise DVD's and get your workouts in at home - I swear by them. Try eBay or Amazon you can get em used...and cheap..or even the library to try em out first..netlix and blockbuster has them too. Okay..so now I know why I dont see you on here too often..just know that you are thought of so make sure you keep coming back.

    Brooklyn - we have a tough goal to reach us both..but with hard work we can do it or get really darn close. We will be starting a new challenge right after..for the month of November - until Turkey Day! =) Thanks for the kind words..yea..I am working on not being so hard on myself - its just tough when my weight loss has slowed and was even stalled for a while. Its frustrating..but I am in it for the long haul.

    VAL - sista gurl (LOL) if I can lend my opinion on your current situation. YOU are/should be the the most important person in YOUR life. NO one, and I will repeat NO ONE should ever make you feel less than the QUEEN that you are. Im serious. I have a best friend who's husband sounds a lot like your boyfriend, and it really pisses me off when men say hurtful things like that. Whether it was intentional or not, its sooo not cool. Dont let sooo many years with him make up for the fact that he HAS to support you 100% in all that you do. Thats what any partner should do. I hope you are strong enough to keep you eye on you goal and block all that negativity out. YOU ARE SOOO WORTH IT!!!!!! Like SuiteLady said, Im all for couples working out their differences and not just give up at the first sight of trouble, but YOU DESERVE BETTER!. Have a great day and keep up the good work.

    Tequila - sorry to hear about your car - i know that ****s big time. If you ever want an at home program, I have
    the P90X files at home, i can send them to you in an email. That program by Tony Horton is amazing, I did 9 out of the 12 weeks and lost 25 lbs on my own last summer. It is HARD but the results are really dramatic.

    Val - I couldn't say it any better than Brooklyn or Suite! I was married to someone similar. Makes me want to flick'em in the forehead! There was a time when I was about a 70lbs heavier than I am now. After 8 years into our relationship (4 years married), I noticed the jealousy and insecurity intensify after I shed the first 35 pounds. As the pounds poured down the drain, so did his attitude. Making the decision to send him packing was the hardest choice I made in my life at that time. Most of my closest family weren't much for support or encouragement at first. NOW, my family is releived and very supportive because they saw what he's become after our relationship ended, his true self (and it was ugly). Its time to do what's right for you and your family. I agree with Suite "Im all for couples working out their differences and not just give up at the first sight of trouble". We're here to support you the best we can. This too shall pass, God bless and take care of you.

    Brooklyn - Thanks! My boyfriend and I have been talking about that P90X. I'd love to try it! I'll pm you with my email addy. BTW - those babies are adorable!

    Suite - Thank you for your kind words. Like I said before, you ladies are like my concious. Keep up the good work.

    Suburban - that upgraded prescription must have you buzzing around like a busy little bee. I too get chatty - so much that I get dry mouth from just talking. No amount of water will quench that thirst.

    So another day and no gym but that's ok (for now anyway). I have a cheap elipticle at home that I use and some resistance exersizes I printed out last week.

    I'm Mexican and my biggest hurdle at the moment (other than my car not working up to par and other life "stuff") is trying to "lighten' up the old family recipes. I tried making a healthier version of Green Chili Enchiladas over the weekend and decided to make the sauce myself (control the salt). WOW, it was easy and delish! Green chilis, onions lightly sauteed in "I can't believe it's not butter", garlic, a little cumin, some chicken broth (from my slow cooked chicken) and viola, you have green enchilada sauce. I used low-fat cheese and corn tortillas, made a fresh pico de gallo salsa and OH MY GOSH. No side dish necessary. I had 2 enchiladas (light on the cheese) with a healthy scoop of my salsa and spinach salad. My man was loving it!

    Val - My heart BROKE when I read your post! WT* does he mean that he will marry you if you lose "a lot" of weight?! Who does he think he is?! What kind of man who LOVES his woman would say that??? The ONLY thing that makes any sense to me is that he believes negative reinforcement will make you push harder. My best friend's (soon-to-be) ex-husband would do that to her thinking it helped her. All it did was make her feel alienated and hurt. I don't think he EVER got it. She finally joined a boot camp because SHE finally decided to make the change. She fell in love with working out and eating better and then she kicked his @$$ to the curb! LOL!!!! I can't say what you should do or what I would do, but know that a man who truly loves you, will truly support you as well. I'm sure you already know that and a few of the ladies have already spoken to this point, but it bears repeating for emphasis. (((hugs))) Sounds to me like you got an awesome workout in this morning before hitting the office! I know you need it to deal with doctors, crazy patients, billing issues, insurance claims, eligibility verifications, vendors, sales reps, software issues, etc. LOL!!!! I hope that made you laugh, honey!!!!

    Suite - When I read that you had apple pie a la mode, my mouth watered. LOL! Glad you enjoyed it. Even happier you still lost! Yay, girl!!!! It sounds like ChaLean might be worth trying out (for me too). Maybe not? LOL!!! Ha! I may need to live vicariously through you until I build up the nerve.

    Brooklyn - CONGRATS on the 12 pound weight loss! That is absolutely awesome, girl!!! Isn't that a wonderful feeling?! And with your dedication to exercise and such a clean eating plan, you will be at your goals in NO time!!!! This next 12 pounds is going to melt, girl!!!!

    Tequila - Keep it up and you're going to have to dip into your savings to buy all new clothes. But heck...I can't think of too many more reasons to do it HAPPILY!! LOL! I love it! Is it okay if I call you "Droopy?" LOL! Of course that's in a loving way...total term of endearment!!!

    I feel your "pain" in trying to find healthier ways to prepare all your favorite foods. I'm a Southern girl so I have to fight with the family about how to prepare foods so they aren't so hard on the arteries or the hips and butt! LOL! My mom is easy although it did take about 2 years to convince her to STOP cooking all my veggies with pork! LOL!!! Now she does it gladly and they taste as good (and probably better) as/than ever!!!

    I'm sorry to hear about the car woes. If you start P90X, please tell me about it. I'm so intimidated of trying it out but FI uses it so it's one more thing we can do together. Again... I'll get back to y'all on that one too! LOL!

    I have been HORRIBLE the past few days. I mean...horrible!!!! However, I got home today and FI had prepared baked fish for dinner! Yay!!! We had green beans and black eyes peas. But since I don't eat pork (and they were already prepared with it) I nixed the peas and added collard greens. YUMMY!!!! Of course I had to go to CVS for batteries and ended up getting TWIZZLERS! Argh!!! So... I have to get back in the game again!!!! I refuse to even LOOK at a scale for 2 weeks! Right now, all I want to do is get back in the game and get my habits back on track. That's it. I go back to the doctor in 30 days and my birthday is in 38 days. I have some serious work to do before then. So tomorrow...I'm back on it!

    Okay... I have GOT to get to bed. I just hope I can stay up long enough to watch the weigh-in for Biggest Loser. It's one of my absolute FAVORITE shows!!! I'd love to be at 175 by the time they air the season finale.

    Okay... Buzz, buzz, buzz!!! I'm out! LMAO!!!!

    Hello Ladies just checking in for a quick update. I hope everyone is well. I first want to say thanks again for the prayers for my girlfriend she is coming along slowly. I am sorry i have been missing. I have been at the hospital and rotating shifts between my other friends taking care of her husband ( cooking, cleaning,,talking and praying) he is a mess since she in the hospital, but he is a little better now and has went back to work. They really are a cute couple they do everything together, dancing, go to the games, shows, travel and they travel everywhere. I am getting ready to fix dinner for him and his sisters so they wont have to eat the Hospital food and send it over with my girlfriend.

    Hello Ladies I am back and I read all the post and Laugh so hard.Surburbanmom is Buzzing all around the place and the poor FI doesnt know what is going on Lol Tequila Fried green tomatoe moment was freaking hilarous.

    First let me just give you a quick update on my weekend and week so far. I must start by saying last week must have been the week for butt hole boyfriends. So a quick update my boyfriend who is a very slim and tall and tone man, who never works out just has a quick metabolism and a six pack with the lowest body fat. His whole family is thin so he just doesnt get the concept of losing weight,diet,exercise you get the picture.
    Anyhoo all last week while I am struggling to not cheat. He comes up to bed every night around ten oclock eating. what the HELL. He just brings the food right in my face and says do you mind. Uh Yeahhhhhhhhh then he says he is sorry and forgot. Every night for a week. So Last Friday night I Finally say you are Banned from the bedroom until I lose this weight and that could be months. You see my girlfriend is in the Hospital with a stoke. I dont want that to happen to me. I am fighting for my Health and you just dont seem to care. So his little Butt was laying on that couch for 2 nights lol and then he said he was so sorry and wont bring anything upstairs pass 7. Why do we woman have to go thru so many extremes for these men sometimes to get it. I must admit I stretched out in that big bed laughing the whole 2 nights. I must say He doesnt mind my weight gain at all, so he really doesnt understand he just says babe its all good to me. MEN

    SuiteLady- You are such a sweetheart thanks for looking out for me and the other ladies to make sure we are still here. Girl I am not going anywhere you guys are my new rock and comedy show. I was also thinking about the P90x maybe we all can start on it together. Great job on the 1 pound lost you are at 186 now. It seems like it was just yesterday you was trying to break that plateau of 190 go girl.

    Surbanmom- I understand about not telling nobody about the pills. nobody wants those funny looks, and great job on getting to 197 pounds you will be in those special jeans for your birthday and look greatttttttt.

    Brooklymom - I am going to get a plate because I am going to eat those cute babies up. Great job on the 12lbs lost and I took the b12 shot once didnt do nothing for me either. but it seems like you are losing the pounds regardless keep up the great work. you have a great plan it looks a little like mine. We will all be at goal soon

    Tequila- Droopy draws is to Funny. I have the same story .this monday I found a new pack of underwear I bought the beginning of the summer. I tried on one pair back then and they almost cut off my circulation so I threw them in the dresser draws, So monday I try a pair on again, and they fit, not tight at all. I was so Happy. I danced around in those undies the whole evening. cooking and cleaning you would have thought I bought a Paris Couture Gown honey.

    Once again welcome to all the new ladies.

    Last but not least. I am now down to 193 pounds. Here I come 180's

    Hey Ladies! What a hectic day I had...and had a lil Phen rage too!! I think it is funny after the fact how I go from 0 to 60 so fast...its comical. This time Comcast was on the receiving end. AND I am NOT sorry..I had no internet since yesterday morning..so you KNOW I was tight.

    SUBURBANMOM - you are a trip. I love reading your posts... =) You can so do ChaLEAN - I think I love it!! and so can your honey...its for guys too..he would just go with heavier weights..I just feel so great after...

    Tequila - as for the dry mouth..that is hysterical..cause I went through that in the beginning..but unfortunately I live in the middle of nowhere with no family or friends nearby...hubby and my daughter are gone most the day and my son goes to pre-school..so I am alone most of the time with no one to yap with...so I get a whole lot of nothing done on here. lol

    Newbie - We are quite a bunch, huh?! lol Glad that we mean so much to you. Soooo glad that the feelings around here are mutual. I am actually 187 now..I was 188..so lets see how this Tuesday goes...maybe 185?!!? maybe maybe?!?

    Suite - I'm so jealous of you!!!! I wish I had a story to tell about a great workout. I've had a horrible week. *sigh* But it really is my own doing. Anyway... Where did you get your ChaLean? I will have to check it out on You Tube!

    And girl... I had to go off Comcast last week!!!! They turned off our cable, internet, and phone service because...get this...I paid the freakin' bill! Yes... ZERO balance due and they turned it off. THEN... Told me it would take 2-24 hours to store! WT*?! No way! So yes... That was me last week. FI works from home so that was a TOTAL inconvenience!!!

    OK... So I got a compliment today from a dear friend at work. She said, "If you're not careful, your drawers are gonna fall off you!" LOL! She's from Savannah! Can't you just hear her saying it with that sweet, syrupy Southern drawl? I LOVE her!!!!

    In other news... I've eaten like a freakin' cow for the last 7 days!! Seriously!!! If I keep going like this... I will NOT hit my next goal. But how do I restart???? Just do it, huh? Argh!!! I know. I know. Tomorrow is a new day. So... I'm going to get to sleep now and try to get 7 1/2 hours of sleep. I know it's supposed to help. *sigh* We're going to Orlando this weekend so I PRAY our hotel has a weight room or something. Wish me luck!!!

    Hola ladies! I was busy yesterday between work and trying to get my car fixed - I didn't get to have lunch and was barely able to log into this site. Thank goodness for the healthy snacks stashed in my desk, our office only supplies delicious junk food (and none of it was worth the calories). I'm hoping my good friend is able to put those p90x files onto a DVD disc for me. I'll be in business baby!! I made a huge dinner last night and was

    Suburban - No, I don't mind the term of endearment, lol. In fact, I'm staying droopy until I drop one more size (keeping fingers crossed for 2 weeks).

    Ok girl - you called it. It's time to tighten up and focus on your birthday goal. Ask yourself, "is it worth it?" before you eat it. You are a beautiful, strong, independant, intelligent woman and you WILL do this! We're here for you.

    Suite - Lucky you to have a validated reason to let that Phen rage out of the cage! About the dry mouth - I was so dry at one time that my lip stuck to my upper gums. My friend and I laughed for about 10 minutes - that was a good ab work out. Cheers to your workout last night!

    Newbie - glad to hear things are looking on the bright side for your friend. Your underwear story was too cute for words! I was so happy to throw out the undies that just don't fit right anymore.

I know when I first started on the 37.5 my appetite was zip zero...I am going to be on your case now! You have already come too far to give up. So, as for your question about how to restart..you will restart with my foot us your ***** lol...(((hugs))) its all love. But serious... =)

    As for me I havent even worked out yet today. I hate Thursdays for that reason...my son is home so I cant work out until my husband or daughter get home.     Okay, okay, okay....

    Since I DON'T want any feet in my behind.... LOL!!! You know, it's HARD to walk around like that! Sheesh! That's just WRONG!!! LOL!!! But fine!!!!!

    Kudos to you for the healthy snacks, girl!!! I used to have a bunch of healthy "stuff" in my desk until I depleted everything. Now I need to stock up again this weekend.

    Suite - Did you get your workout in this today? You know I'm looking to you for some motivation, girl. I mean... after all you DO have your foot in my rear end! LOL!!!! Love it!!!!

    Today was better. I had my scrambled egg whites and turkey bacon for breakfast. I remembered to take my yogurt to the office (although I discovered I already had a cup in there ---LOL!!!), I had tea w/Splenda instead of my creamy coffee, my Lean Cuisine lunch (no salad though ), and a somewhat sensible dinner. At last count, I was a little over 1200 calories for the day. And now that it's after 11:00... I'm definitely done.

    My little one is sick with a cough and fever so that changes my plans for the weekend. He started running a temp of 101.5 and is hovering right above 100 even with Motrin so... I don't think he needs to be traveling this weekend. Maybe next weekend??? We'll see how I feel...next weekend. LOL!

    Okay... FI has just pissed me off. I feel myself turning into an EVIL beeotch! Ugh!!! He'd better SOOOO not touch me when he comes to bed tonight! Ugh!

    Suburban - girl you are toooooo funny, since Suite already told you what she will do if you dont get yourself on track (tough love) I will say, just think about your new body at you goal weight, what is the one thing that you will want to wear? keep that image in your mind and that will deter you from making not so healthy choices.. And to get motivated to Exercise, honey be like NIKE and JUST DO IT!!!, easier said than done I know, but even when you dont feel like it, JUST DO IT!!!!you will feel soooo much better. Sorry to hear about your little one being sick. I do hate that the most, and there is not much you can do to take away thier pain. Hope he is better real soon.

    Suite - congratulations on your EASY day, when all went well!!!! wish we all had more days like that I hope you had the chance to get some good exercise in since then. Work on that SEXY girl!!!

    Tequila - girl i just about fell out of my chair here at work reading about your gums getting stuck!!!! that was hilarious.... I can totally relate, especially when im working out, I really get it so bad, I feel like my i cant even speak my tongue feels stuck...lol drinking alot of water is not enough sometimes, i need tictacs or something to keep my mouth hydrated...lol tooo funny.     The last couple of days Ive been feeling a bit under the weather, not full blown cold/flu, just like its starting to BREW!!! Im hardly ever sick, maybe once ever 4 years or so Ill get a mild cold, but other than that im usually healthy. Now with this SWINE flu crap going around, NYC is aweful, these subways are just like incubators, no one knows how to cover their mouths, they sneeze in thier hands then hold the poles...UUGGHHH!!!, im going to have the start driving to work because I refuse to catch these peoples germs. Anywhoo Ive been feeling a bit sick, so my energy level is way down, i didnt feel like going to the gym, but I forced myself to go during lunch and was happy i did, maybe its helping me fight off this bug.

    The weather is supossed to be horrible here in NY, so it will be a fun filled weekend full of packing and we will probably take the kids to see Where the Wild Things Are.

    Another week has passed and 4 more lbs gone.. I must be doing something right ladies and it feels good!!

    Hello Ladies ,

    Im here missed talking to everyone , trying to deal with the work week and by the time im home it's always late as ever but i am keeping my head up and pushing on. My daughter is coming down with something , runny nose , fever so ive been taking care of her and battleing my own cold.
    Thanks for the comments ladies on the man situation, I just have so many mixed emotions right now i dont know what to do..

    Ive been eating good but the scale hasnt moved an once yet , missed my workout yeaterday and today but im pushing for a better week next week. Its TGIF and im off of work at home with the kids today and boy oh boy is it cold here.. 39 degress (WOW) Im not ready for the winter yet.

    I hate to bother you all with my many problems and when i first started my WL journey i promised myself that i wouldnt let my personal life interfere but its impossible to focus and that's what threw me off in the first place.
    I have another situation i wanted some opinions on if ya'll don't mind , well you see you 've all heard that when a woman is in love with a man but she's the last to realize that he is no good for her , right? Thats me , and i couldnt see it til..... My son's father took us on vacation for labor day to a resort . Me and my son's father have been together for quite some time and we've had our breakup's anyway... My daughter isnt his biological child even though he says he wants to be in her life and has been since the day she was born. And i know everyone knows about Facebook ? I have a facebook page and so does he. He also has another child while we were in our relationship this child was conceived by another woman and i accepted because i dont have anything against the baby. But they are all a year apart and the kids play together very well.
    Anyway , he posted some pictures from our trip on his facebook and none of the pictures include me or my daughter! I asked him ? Why no pictures of me and her and he said some lame excuse that he only wanted to post the boys , oh whatever!

    Im sooooo sorry ladies for all of these problems im asking you about and i feel sooooo bad that i have these issues with men in my life. This will be my last post about any more of my problems but im just so overwhelmed with everything right now.
    I keep telling myself stay focused on you and only you..

    Hi Val,
    sorry to hear you are "going through" right now. I am a firm believer in whatever dont kill us, only makes us stronger. I hope you feel you can talk to any of us here, we are here for you, personal issues, weight issues, LIFE issues, I dont mind lending an ear or two.

    From experience, I know its better to talk about these things and get them off of your chest, then to hold it all in. Sometime we need to just VENT, not necessarily looking for an answer or advise, but just to let it all out. Then you can sort through your thoughts and emotions to figure out your next step.

    So if you were just venting, I hear you girl, and I am truly sorry for your situation and the way it is making you feel right now.

    Now if you want my advise:
    Do you feel like he was trying to hide you and your daughter? or you just feel upset that he didnt acknowledge you by just posting the picks of him and the boys? either way, I think is was insensitive on his part, but If I can tell you - dont sweat that. Im saying that if you know your place with him and in his heart, it dont matter if he never posts a pic of you on his page, you are SECURE enough not to let that get to you. Now playing devils advocate here, if he was trying to hide you and your daughter, then open a can of whup-*** on him and start packing his stuff... seriously, girl only you know how much you can take and if its a big enough issue, maybe you need to really evaluate if you are getting everything you need from this relationship.

    I hope you and your little one is feeling better soon.

    Val - You are not bothering us!!! This journey is more about how much weight we lost..it involves everything else that we are going through..and thats what we are here for. To support and motivate each other. I have some issues myself..which I will get to in a minute. I think that once you even start feeling doubt like that..something is up..something is telling you something. LISTEN to your gut! It is powerful and has never steered me wrong. I send you (((hugs))) and strength. I suggest you take a little break and focus on yourself. Just focus. I know it is easier said than done..but try...try HARD! It will get easier.

    Brooklyn - Congratulations on 4 lbs lost. Work that scale girl! You are my inspiration. High Five! I am still smiling as I type. You have a Spiderman running around your house too? My 3 yr old runs around dressed as Spiderman too..how funny! not to mention my 13 yr old who thinks she is damn Princess - did I mention she is really a Drama Queen?!?! I love my kiddies sooo much and was feeling sad yesterday getting my lil man ready for school..thinking - wow it seems like not that long ago I was doing this with Britt and now she is in High School. How time flies. My husband is on board with the healthy eats..but then when I am in the bed..I hear him going through the pantry and snacking...and wake up in the morning to evidence...lol. He doesnt have any weight to lose I just want him to seriously eat better and not so much junk. He is the type that will get up in the middle of the night, eat a Snickers bar and go back to bed...lol

    Tequila - What is going on with the car? I feel you on that because we are not right when our cars arent. At least I know I am not. I just had to buy a new tire..because who knows what I went over ..but before that..I almost got stuck with a flat and NO JACK! How are you doing staying on track?

    Suburban - I hope your son gets better fast! I totally dread my lil ones getting sick. It's tougher and more exhausting on us because we worry so much. Give him lots of fluids and love...I will be thinking of you two. Keep us posted. I think that I stuck my foot too far up your behind and fell off balance. Because - I ate junk yesterday! Not food just junk. To be honest I didnt even enjoy it. I didnt go way off..just didnt eat any meals..I ate graham cookies for Breakfast lunch was some cheese puffs..dinner was Kettlecorn popcorn and french fries!! WTF?!?!?! So, now that you are back on the wagon..can you reach out your hand to me? Pretty please!!!

    Okay - now I gotta get mushy - I thank my lucky stars for you ladies EVERY DAY!! Even when I dont check in...you are all right here with me...except when I am bad..then I try tuning you out..lol..but seriously..I could not be any happier about having you ladies in my life. It is a shame that we are all so spread out and cant get together for a Girls Night Out.

    I have to work on some homework so I will check back in a little.

    Hi Ladies ,

    Hi everyone. Good and very bad news.

    Bad first - I was working away from the office Thurs afternoon and Friday so today is going to be really busy. A good friend and co-worker died yesterday of a heart attack. I'm still in shock to learn of his death just this morning. He was only 41, very fit and active. Really makes you think.

    Good - my Expedition is finally fixed and boy did it cost some $$. I'll never buy another vehicle with airbag suspension!

    Bad news - now my alignment needs to be done and I have to buy 4 tires.

    Good - I maintained my weight and got some exercize by taking my dog for longer and faster walks, kind of watched what I ate (I did splurge a bit). I didn't realize how little I ate last week while stressing over my car, work and budget.

    I hope everone is doing well and had a pleasant weekend. I'll have to catch up later today. TTYL!

    Hey Ladies! Checking in late today..I have been non-stop...still havent been able to relax..so in between loads and cooking I wanted to check in and see how everyone is doing.

    Had a great workout..got my bands today...I ordered resistance bands since the weights take up so much space and I like them better. Also, went and bought some new sneakers. I was over due.

    Tequila - if its not one thing its another. Sorry - but your baby will be cruising happily soon enough. Sorry for your loss. It hurts when family that is older passes but for some reason whenever I have lost someone my age or that I knew on a friendly level..it hits me in a much different way..and is REALLY hard to understand. I have lost 2 friends in the last few years. People that I hung out with and spent time with..one got hit by a car and the other had just learned that he had heart trouble and died the night before his wedding. So that was really hard to digest. We must take care of ourselves as best as we can. When it is our time it is just that. I try to make the best of my days - seriously...I really do..because you just never know.

    Okay - I will check back in this evening!! (((Hugs)))
