Wink <3 <3 <3 Hello Everyone!!! I'm Ash from Chicago

Hey everyone!

I am back.... I lost 48 lbs in 2.5 months so I would be skinny during my HS graduation in 2005. I did not realize what a blessing it was to be thin and gained weight back due to influences (friends always eating pizza and double cheeseburgers). Its now 2009 and it is time for a big change! I have not seen any of my HS friends since 2005 and would really love to reconnect, however the excess weight needs to go. I am confident but I just want to be as they remember me or even better =) I am in college. My major is accounting. I am not the typical accountant. I am loud, silly, funny, optimistic but most of all outgoing. I have a huuuge heart and am looking for friends or support buddies during this time as only my BF knows I am on the pill. I was prescribed 37.5 daily for 60 days. I do not want to tell my friends because they would attribute my weight loss solely to the pill and believe its the lazy way out.. however we all know when we hit that plateau.. ITS HARRRD WORK! So tell me about yourselves. i am glad to be back and hopefully be safe, fit, and healthy once and for all

Hi Ash from Chicago :-) I am Mel from Delaware. How did you lose 48 lbs in 2.5 months? I lost the same amount in the same amount of time but that was due to stress and the passing of my Dad 3 yrs ago. I gained it back when I was put on meds for my depression. I have been really struggling the last 6 months to lose the weight and my Dr decided that I needed the help with my appetite. I stood the same weight for the 6 months between Dr appt's because I love to work out and workout like an animal its the eating part because of the increase in appetite due to the pills that has me stumped. So, I am hoping to make it back down to my goal weight and then I know I can maintain. I am on the same dose and go back to him in a few weeks to check my progress. I think you are right to keep it to yourself...it is no ones business but your own..and people tend to get critical when they see you doing something great for yourself..and look fab! So, I look forward to taking this journey with you!

Hey thanks for the response. I will post pics later as I am at work on the computer =) =) I lost it by working out very hardcore. I think it was the determination and definitely the "walk away the pounds" video. I walked away my hips, things, rolls and more. I was only 18 and pressure was on to fit in the overly small dress I purchased for graduation. Bad part was the side effects: DRRRRY mouth, lightheadness, and most of all losing some of my hair.. because noone told me that I needed a certain amount of protein daily. Well life goes on and its time for a new me. I wish you luck too. I will chat more later but I gotta run and help some patients!
