BIRTHDAY BLUES & NEW PHOTO
Ok, finally I have a photo added of me ... so you can put a face with a name... lol Survived my birthday and it was not the best day to say the least... nothing major went wrong, but all kinds of little things.... just irritating... anyhow... made my own cake.. had one little slice of it... and a dipper of ice cream... and that was that.... then I just got up and kept myself busy while everyone else finished. I planned for it thought and ate light the rest of the day... so hopefully it won't be too bad... on me.. Anyhow... looking forward to getting directly back on track tomorrow... no more cake and ice cream for me...

ok, i did the uplaod to profile and upload to signature... how do I get a photo on if that isn't it ? lol
HELP???? I see my great b'day luck continues, I can't even get the photo on here now. lol GEESH... I'm ready for tomorrow to hurry up and get here.... BTW.. thanks for the b'day wishes....

The avatar pic was really what I was trying to do... I have a new computer and have not downloaded any photos onto it yet.... I have to get with the program. lol Everyone else is showing off hubbies and kids... HOT BODS.... Happy Birthday Angie!!! Sorry it wasn't the best day for you, sadly your Birthday is like mine too close to a big Holiday weekend. My Birthday is May 24th always falls right at memorial weekend, my whole life my friends hardly ever made it to my Birthday because there parents were usually always taking them out of town for the weekend. So you can do what I do and force everyone to celebrate it for the Whole Month.

Happy Birthday!!! I can relate to the birthday blues, its not the same as when you were 18, but look at it this way... Next year on your birthday maybe you will be out shopping for all those awesome new clothes you will be able to wear or hanging out at the pool in your new svelte bod!!!!

Just as an FYI, if you change your avatar and it looks like nothing happened (blank or old avatar still there), simply press CTRL and then F5 to reload all the graphics on a site (it may take a minute, because it has to go out and fetch everyone's photos on a page).

Thanks again to everyone for the b'day wishes.... It was by far not the best or worst birthday I have ever had. Let's just say when I went to bake my own cake ( grrr ) the oven wouldn't heat.... finally got it going about 4 hrs. later so was a rush to get everything in , baked , and out before everyone got here..... The toilet overflowed... Subway was out of black olives... lol... my mom forgot to call me that morning to tell me happy bday.... Just little things... and well, it just didn't seem like my birthday to me at all.... Anyhow... it's done, it's over... onto the 4th of July... lol I did actually get b'day clothes that were already a size smaller than what I was wearing... so that was a plus, by next birthday I am hoping to have long surpassed my goal weight. We shall see. Week one was awesome... week two I've not lost much... at all... but to drop 11 lbs. in two weeks ( will be 2 tomorrow morning ) is not bad at all. Even if it is water weight it is poundage off my scale. It's been too cool to go swimming so I've been walking about an hour to an hour and a half at night and enjoying the nice temps... I noticed my water drinking had slowed down though, so I picked that back up yesterday and I'm having a horrible time eating breakfast.. but after reading so many posts, I guess I need to force myself to eat something.. to help jump start that darn metabolism... so, Im going to look forward to week three and hopefully I can get to the 170's... only a lb away... On another note.. BOB... I probably won't change my pic for a long time so don't be surprised if you see me ask exactly that question in a few months. lol To those of you who have pics of your chldren on here... I love them... great photos... and beautiful kids. I have to get off my duff and get some of my own on here... Anyhow.. have a great and safe 4th of July weekend however you plan to spend it.... For me... parade in morning.... some activities are taking place up town... swimming in the afternoon, then picnic with daddy ( he's umpiring tomorrow ) and going to see the fireworks.... Off to do something constructive.... or in my case maybe destructive... have a great day!
