It took you long enough! I was beginning to wonder whether you really had any! You have got a great looking bunch there I know how tall your older daughter is, but how tall are the other two? Is Kate taller than your son or is it just this pic?

What is with the word "rising"? Am I totally missing something??? Probably...

These are my boys. Not exactly kidlets anymore, though.

Daniel is on the left. He is my artist and musician. Extremely talented, if not the most organized or disciplined person in the world. He paints, sketches, writes songs and poetry and is an absolute wizard with both an electric guitar and an acoustic guitar. It's like he was just born knowing how to play. He can even play banjo a little. He will be 22 this month.

Seth is on the right. This photo was taken a few years ago. His hair is almost down to his waist now. But I don't argue with him about that because he is in college making straight As. He is a junior in a pre-med program and plans to be a psychiatrist after he goes to med school. With straight As his entire life, he can pretty much wear his hair any way he wants. Seth will be 20 this month.

This is Gypsy, me completely insane puppy. She has been trying to eat the house and everything in it ever since we brought her home from the shelter just before Christmas. I've gone through 6 pairs of flip flops already this summer due to her eating them, and she just ate the USB connector off the cord to my phone charger. Life was very simple and easy before Gypsy. Haha.

And this is my wonderful little doggie Sinner, with Gypsy right after we brought her home. Sinner is the best doggie ever! Gypsy? Not so much. Haha!

Kate is 6 feet tall (she won't admit it, she'll say she's 5'11") and is on her varsity crew team in college.
Ed is 6'2" and will either be the best salesman or politician in the world once he graduates from college next year.
Jennifer is my shrimp, only 5'8". Her ambition is to be a sorority president some day.

oh...and "rising" means where they'll be in the upcoming year. Maybe it's a southern thang...

Might just be a southern thang. I almost posted that my Seth is a rising junior, but I decided to leave it out. I knew what you meant.

Raina(7 yrs)-tender, sensitive, kind, compassionate, humble, loud, singer, friendly, happy, healthy, joyous, wise, intelligent, big hearted, honest. She is always willing to help, to serve, to work, to be humble, to pray, to share, to laugh, to read, to go to God. Sometimes she feels left out with other kids her age, when they are talking barbies and singing hanah montana-she is not, she really focuses on helping others and growing closer to Jesus. She loves sad songs and Go Tell It On The Mountain. She makes friends with everyone, she is miss social butterfly and gets her feelings hurt easily. Thinks and over thinks too much.

Irelyn(5 &1/2)-bold, charming, giggly, brave, fearless, takes chances, gives 1 million % all the time, fighter, strong, energetic, street smart, fast, sweet, playful, loyal. She cracks me up daily, she loves to dance and and keeps me on my toes. She moved the most in my belly and she moves the most still, even her birth was fast & furious. She likes to fit in yet goes against the grain most often. Doesnt slow down ever, wide open all the time, doesnt think before acting or speaking, lol. Loves all bugs, animals, creepy things, action, sports, rollercoasters, swimming, jumping, diving, the ocean, video games, food. She helps me to become more patient and slow to anger and slow to speak.

Sariah(4 yrs)-our pleasant surprise, silly, goofy, moody, cautious, reserved, stubborn, feisty, traveler, hard headed, gives the best hugs, naps well, good things come in "small" packages, loves chocolate, very expressionate, our first blue eyed girl, never gives up, likes to help. She loves music, sounds, books, dinosaurs, musical instruments, and always being on the go. Not a homebody. Just recently learning to not be so afraid of the water and is swimming all over and having a blast at the pool! Usually waits to see if her big sisters like someone or something before she tries it. Not one to give out affection often, much less to anyone other than those closest to her. Learns things quickly, especially songs.

Karys(2 & 1/2)-our caboose, so far she seems more like Irelyn if I had to choose, a daddy's girl all the way, not a leader but a follower, has those crazy blue eyes, speaks well and usually gives full details lol, typical 2 yr old, loves milk, getting more and more independent every day, adores swimming, sleeps with 5 books in her bed, out of diapers, likes monkeys, gives the best kisses, likes puzzles, says Appleduss instead of octupus, has the best laugh, says the funniest things, doesnt stay mad for long. Still young and still learning, getting better about obeying, loves adventure, loves trying new things, loves to be with her sisters, shy at first, takes her a minute to warm up and then is social, enjoys talking on the phone.

Just wanted to jot down a few things about each blessing, how they are right now. I know over time they will change and grow and develop and I pray I am a willing vessel unto the Lord to train them, to love them with his love, they are my ministry. To have the seeds planted, to care for their tender hearts, to inspire that love of serving. To focus on family, each child, prayer, love of learning, humility, plant His words into their hearts and minds. I love each of my girls and how God has used them to change me, to highlight my sins, to force me to be better, they remind me constantly to be thankful and praise the Lord. To hear them in the car about the wonderful sunset God made or how much they love being in God's house, about how they can help someone else, their sweet spoken prayers on their soft knees with hands together while their sweet heads are down and kind eyes closed....

Irelyn. How neat. My brother and sister in law just had their first baby last July. They wracked their brains to decide on a name for her. They almost named her Ireland, but literally at the last minute, they decided to make it a little more feminine. The named her Irelyn.

This is their little Irelyn. She has big blue eyes like your babies.
