I have been reading a lot about state mandated phen breaks on here today.. I think fla is the only state in the US that dosent have a perscription tracking system. The gov says it delves into peoples private lives..lol We are called the Pill Mill state.. I do think some people should take a break from it though. i havea girlfriend who has been on "P" sor no lie...9months strait!!! She dosent realize it, but she is a bit..um, shall I say...strange now! She was very overweight as a kid up till her senior year .. then she became obsessed w being skinny... She suffers from depression and bi-polar..(im not a star speller..lol) And if you read the side effects..thats not a good mixture. Anyways, I do hope everyone is safe about this stuff.. lol I know I sound corny.. but, being thin in a coffin isnt as attractive as a few curves on a dancefloor!... lmfo

Well this morning, I was down 12pounds! I'm sure I'll be up a little when I go home sat night! We're going to kings island tomor and I'm going to my hometown fair on sat! I'm gonna do my best to eat as well as I can! Should be interesting! I can already feel my pants getting looser!!! So we shall see! Anyway, I'm at my dads and need to go to bed! Have a good night all and try to check in tomor! Prob be about this time!

I tried the link, but it didn't work for me. However, I can tell you it is illegal to buy prescription meds online w/o a valid Dr.s prescription. Most, if not all of these sites do not sell the real phentermine w/o a script. I know there is a few sites where one used to be able to have an "online consult" and get a script and pills from there, but that has been made illegal as well. Also, it was pretty expensive.
I got a script from my Dr. during a visit for something else (ins. won't pay for anything weight loss related) and filled the sdcript at Wal Mart....100 - 37.5 caplets cost me $66.00.
When the doctor prescribed me Phen he told me to fill it at Costco because its suppose to be way cheaper. It was already late in the day and I didn't feel like driving across town so I just filled mine at Rite-Aid and paid $40. I am going to try Costco next time to see how much it is, that is if he fills it again. My next doctors appt. is on the 21st (1st weight loss check-up) so I need to drop some pounds before then.
Today I decided to take my pill a lil later in the day because I kept getting really hungry at night. I get up about 6 every morning (if I don't workout) and usually would take my pill around 8 so instead I drank a slimfast at this time and waited to take my pill till like 11:30. I grabbed two tacos from taco bell because i was in a hurry this morning and didn't pack a lunch. For dinner I had some chicken and fruit...all this and my total calorie intake for the day was only 761. I drank a lot more water today and didn't get a headache so I am going to try and stick to this routine. Taking the pill later def. worked better for me because it is almost 9 and I am not hungry at all...just wanting to drink more water. Today was a very long and stressful day though...got to work 8 this morning and didn't get home from work until 7, I have been so swamped! I am really looking forward to the weekend all except for the food I will be eating, I seem to always do worse on the weekends.

Hey guys! i havnt been around for a few days. I went to go visit my father at the beach. Today I had my second doc appointment and i have lost 8lbs in 13 days!! WOOO HOO! If i keep this up i can lose 16 lbs by the end of the month! I AM SO EXCITED! The doc said that only 2 of the 8lbs were water weight and he said that was great! He also increased by dosage. I was only on 15mg per day and i began to get hungry the second week so he increased my dosage to 30mg. I am going back to see him in 3 weeks. Hopefully i will be down to 188 or so !

I would love to join. I'm on my 4th day of PHEN and so far so good. I'm trying to loose at least 12lbs by my 31st birthday 7/28/09.
I got home from work yesterday and my boyfried had the pair jeans that I had on the day I met him which was 40lbs ago and he hung them on my bedroom door. He taped 4 pics of me on the pant legs of my skinnier days and made a note that said GET LIKE THIS. I thought it was funny and he wasn't doing it to be mean, he was just trying to motivated me. He actually thinks I look fine the way I am and he gets so mad when I complain about my weight. He tells me everyday that I'm beautiful and he sees nothing wrong with my body but I must say he is being really supportive in this challenge.
I agree, I would get one of my guys shirts and stick a pic of brad pitt on it with the same note lol j/k. Its is good we all have people supporting us. I am the only person in my house on phen and people are constantly trying to give me food, or ask if im hungry, what did I eat, I need to eat more, blah blah. It is hard to explain to them eating is the last thing I want to do right now.I simply dont have the urge, at all.
Today was the end of my second week and my weigh in day. I didn't drop anything.I didn't gain either. But TOM is here!! My test for phen was to get me through TOM. I would diet, do well, but the week TOM was coming my appetitie would get out of control!! I would eat all day everyday for a week!! Phen passed the test, b/c I have not had any food cravings or binges! I couldn't if I wanted to. No appetite! I think in a few days, the scale will show some pounds lost. Women do retain excess water weight during this time anyway, so I wasn't surprised! Hope week 3 looks awesome!!! Keep up the great work everyone!

Hi! I have been following this forum for about a week, and thought it was time I took part. I have struggled with my weight for 14 years, since I was pregnant with first child. I have PCOS which makes it extremely difficult to lost weight.
I have been on phen for 2 weeks now. I was amazed at how much I lost the first week (5lb) then only 1 lb this week. It has been disappointing. I have been eating 1200 cal a day and walking or swimming 3 times a week. My doctor said to expect to lost 10 lbs per month. She will only let me stay on it for 3 months. We are going on a cruise the end of Sept. and would love to be around 160 by then.

Hey guys and Dolls I know that the official weigh day is Monday but I had to share. I started Phen on June 3 and weighed an annoying 285 on the doctors unfriendly scale. Today i went in and weighed 269 .. down 16lbs woohooo. I take one pill cut in half twice a day with the second pill being as late as reasonably possible. I am a night eater and since I started a little over a month ago I have no once snacked on anything but water or crystal lite past dinner time. This for me was huge.
I have the lap band and stalled out in a big way. For the last few years my over eating (band over eating) cause me to vomit all the time. I used to joke that I could puke in a cup while, driving 70 on the highway and not even blink. I was a pro at puking and yes I know that is a horrible thing to say.
Since i started phen I haven't gotten sick one time. IN OVER 4 WEEKS not once. That compared to several times a week if not more is such an awesome thing.
Anyways I hope i didn't offend or gross you out, it is just the way it was and I am honest.

Goodmorning Everyone, my name is Trudi and i have been visiting for a few weeks and decided its time to join. A little about me, i am a 28 years old mom of two boys (6 and 2). Before i got pregnant with my first son i weighed in at 145lbs. With that pregnancy i gained 50lbs. I guess because i was only 21 when i had him i was back to pre-pregnancy weight in no time. Has the years went on i slowly started to gain and by the time i got pregnant when our second i was 171. Well the baby is 2 now and i am tired of feeling the way i do about my body. I dont like to buy clothes because i hate the way they look on me and i avoid going out with friends because of the way i look so i just go to work, school and home. I heard about Phen from another site i visit and decided to give it a try. My first appt. was June 19 when i got the B12 shot , the 30mg dose of Phen and a starting weight of 168. I weighed myself sometime last week at the scale said 160! Well today is my second appt. so i will see what the their scale say. I look forward to chatting with everyone because it great to have people who are going through the same thing around!!
l started phen on June 6th and l have lost 20 lbs so far but now l hate to weigh myself in because l alredy hit the plateu and it seems l can't get through it ,the scale isn't moving so forget about getting on that stupid scale.

It has been close to two weeks for me on phen as well and have not lost anything the last few days and in fact gained back a pound!! GGGrrrrr! I truly understand your disappointment. I too have been eating 1200 calories a day, BUT I do not drink much water (detest it) and honestly have not been exercising. (detest that too!)
It doesn't make a lot of sense, but I have a Curves yearly membership and went everyday back in May...for about 2 1/2 weeks. Hit a speedy bump in life and couldn't go for a few days and now I have fallen back into making excuses to not go. I also have a bow flex type machine and tredmill, along with a tanning bed that I never use, in my basement....do I use them?? Heck NO!
Ugghh! Although I have lost a bunch of weight in the last two years, I feel fatter than ever! Was in a size 20/22 but now I am wearing a size 12 pants/shorts & still XL tops (38D...explains that huh? lol which is fine as I had a breast reduction a few years ago and don't really want to reduce them further) I digress....I am having problems with the phen not helping with cravings....maybe not cravings, but I have read a lot of people feel full and the last thing they want to do is eat...NOT ME....crave carbs big time! I even gave in and ate some chips and dip yesterday! Ugghhh!!!! After eating 2 Skinny Cow ice cream sandwiches! The only way I can do this at all is by eating Lean Cuisine's or the like. I think it is because I feel I am getting "real" food as opposed to salads and skinless chicken breast (again, detest them). Also makes it easier to count the calories too.
Has anyone else gotten phen made by Qualitest? I swear, even though they are 37.5 mg (supposedly) they sure do far less than the 15 mg made by Eon labs that I had left over from two years ago. There was no expiration date on the bottle, so I figured what was the worst that can happen?......The old ** gives me a boost of energy and does work a bit better than the new one!! Anyone else experienced something like this?
Went to my 2nd appt. this morning and iam 158.2! I am so excited, if i can keep this up ill be at my goal in no time. One thing i really need to do is workout harder, i really want to get rid of my mommy apron
You should try Costco for sure. I got my r x filled at Target and they will price match Costco or Sams Club on meds. They called both of them for me and only charged me $12 for my phen. Plus since I work at Target I got 10% off AND a free $10 gift card with a coupon. So my first months supply was only $2! LOL WooHoo! Hopefully you can find it cheaper next time, $40 is crazy!
Hi everyone...I am new to this thread! i started in June about 2 weeks and 2 days ago. I started at 264(yikes!) and weighed myself this morning and weigh 252. Yay....12 pounds!! I'm a little surprised although I have cut out all of the stuff that made me fat to begin with. I have gone out to eat except on the 4th and I just cut my meal in half, I haven't drank any soda, no white anything, lots of fruits and veggies. My main problems are that I just don't have ANY desire to eat, constipated, don't want to do anything at all. Just want to stay home!! I am trying to force myself to eat..I think I probably need more protein in my day!! I don't know!! I haven't been exercising either! Can't get motivated at all. I am gonna try this week to get some in though...at least the Wii!

Ok...so I started at 140...well like 139....anyway...I posted a thread about my bad start..uti,antibiotic..munchkin on bad food.....so I weigh myself today and said 134.5...hmmm...I guess that's something....because I haven't been takin phen in days...I just took it a week straight and went off due to my ugly uti...I'm really really hoping to loose at least 10 pounds by the end of the month...my target is 120...but I need to loose it!...I started yesterday again....also, I get too much headaches..I drink water..eat a small snack but won't go away.. I don't want to weigh myself until next Friday...I don't think I'm going to wait that long though!
Hey everyone, I have been reading everyone's post and I cannot tell you enough that water is must. It and phen works miracles, phen is causing us to lose fat, which the kidneys can only do so much before it throws that extra work on the liver do to LACK of water, guess what the liver does? Thats right, controls fat distribution, so if our livers are doing more work than they should because our kidneys are getting their *****es kicked, dont plan on seeing a dramatic change in your weight loss, not exercising is not the end all of not losing weight, even getting up and vacuuming your house or rearranging a room on phen gets your heart going a million miles a min, but not drinking your water and worse drinking soda packed full of sodium, you are going to retain what water you do drink and those fat cells are not getting expelled. Just drink it, stop talking about it, go get some, and drink it. Even if you hate it!! Personally, I HATE being fat more than I hate just drinking it and getting it over with, I gulp mine until I feel sick and do that every hour on the hour and lost 11 pounds in 4 days. Regardless of all 11 pounds was water or fat or sodium or whatever, it was out of my body and i felt thinner and felt better about myself. I am rooting for all of us, we CAN do this guys, this is our time to take our lives back, phen is just helping us get there, we can all do it!! I wish everyone the best.![]()
Today's my 30th day and I have lost 7 pounds as of my last dr appointment on 7/2. I know 7 pounds is pretty good for 3 weeks, but not so much for 4. I am hoping this is just because of tom and not a plateau. I have been drinking tons of water, exercising 30-45minutes daily, and am consuming around 1700 calories a day. I will wait a week after tom to see if this is just water retention. If I don't lose more weight after then, I'll drop my calories to 1500. I just don't want to drop too quickly and leave myself no options whenever I plateau again. And, realistically, I don't think I can live on a 1000-1200 calorie a day diet for the rest of my life!

I know water is soooo important...the only problem is I am so busy at work that I forget to drink it! Its not that I hate it because it doesn't bother me all that much. I don't drink sodas or anything else, its just the lack of drinking I guess. I try to get as much in as I can when I get home but I really need to remember. I think I am going to set a reminder on my outlook email calendar at work every hour to DRINK my water!!
Oh and to top it off I started TOM on Friday!Weigh in on Monday is going to **** for me! Dang it! I am still only at a 7lb loss in 2 weeks!

The water is a must for this weight loss--I drink two 1.5 liter bottles daily. I constantly have this huge bottle of water with me and I refill it often. This is especially helpful at work because I'm constantly running and like to have that with me when I can stop for a second to drink water and keep moving.
For those that detest water, how about you buy those no calorie crystal light packets for water bottles? They have many flavors and are made by lots of different companies so they're pretty cheap . Gets your water in you and you have a bit of flavor without the calories.
You can swim against the waves or you can learn to surf.

I started TOM on friday too! Ugh, I feel so horrible! I am cramping more than usual, and I am miserable! lol I am so tired, not even a whole bottle of phen could get me going! I got up yesterday and cleaned my house for 4 hours, I had to get moving, I hate when my TOM takes over and im sitting around just cramping, id rather be moving and cramping to get my mind off it. I know what you mean about water and work. I keep a huge bottle of smart water which comes in a liter bottle at my desk and honestly once you start drinking it, you crave it. Phen keeps me so parched, soda makes my mouth feel slimey and the sweetness of diet soda makes me gag, bring on the h2o please!
I am not weighing myself until its over lol Phen is deff helping me not over eat though, I am still staying under 1200 calroies, around 600 a day, rarely over 800. I might not forever stay on a 1200 calorie diet, but right now I have enough stored fat to last me a year lol When I get to my goal weight I will gradually increase my caloric intake to match my energy output. Self control will still have to be what I depend on from there on out.![]()
