Hi,I just thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jessica,and I am a SAHM of 3, 4 and under. I took Phentermine 6 years ago and lost 80lbs in 8 months. Hitmy goal, went off phentermine, kept it off for three months before we got pregnant with our first child. Now 4 and a half years later and three kids later I am back up to where I started. I lost 13lbs my first month this time around,and am very excited! I started June 3 and did two weeks on phen and two weeks off. I am excited to get to share this exciting time with all of you!Good Luck to us all!!!

Hey Fluff! I know what you mean! I ate chicken and salads at both places. We'll see how I am tomorrow morning. I'm really dreading going to the 4th of July party on Sat. I think I'll be ok for the mere fact I'm not really hungry, but there's so many temptations...ya know!! UGH Tomorrow, we're supposed to be going swimming. Not sure, tho. My sister likes to change her mind! I REALLY want to, if nothing else to get my baby in the pool! I think she'll have a ball!! I got her a floaty to be in and everything! Should be a lot of fun! She always makes a flippin list when she comes up here! UGH!!! Always have to change "the plan" to do what she wants to. Drives me batty!!!! Anyway, I'm heading to bed. Ok, today is day three. I did get on the scale this morning, and I don't see much of a difference.
I have been keeping my daily intake to about 1100 cals. I walked 3.5 miles both mornings and went to the gym and ran and did weights with my arms. This working out isn't new for me, I had been losing weight before the Phen. I decided to try the Phen because I wanted to jumpstart my weight loss again. The fact that I hadn't really lost anything scared me. I know people lose weight at different speeds. But when I diet well, i tend to lose weight pretty quickly. I'm hoping that I'm not doing all this in vain. I know it's only been two full days, but I pray this works. I'm going to try to stay off the scale, and just wait til then end of week 1 and see how I did. Keeping my fingers crossed. Oh yeah, as far as side effects go, i do have a bit of dry mouth, and last night I had a horrible headache, but that could have been due to the stressful day I had. I do feel an increase in energy, and I have been waking up at 6 these past few days, and I'm NOT a morning person. I usually have to force myself out of bed to go for my walk. Amd usually at the end of that walk, i'm ready to quit. But, both of theses days on the Phen, i actually wanted to keep going, and felt like i could do a lot more.

Good morning, June and July Phensters!
I'm having a weird day. A few days ago, I realized that I will run out of Phen before my next doctor appointment. NoOoooOO! So I called my doctor's office yesterday afternoon and left a message with the receptionist asking her to call in a refill so that I don't run out. She told me, "If she has any problems with refilling it, she'll call you." I left her my work number and my cell, and I didn't get a call by 5:30 p.m. They close at 5:00. So I went to the pharmacy after work at about 6:00 and there was no refill called in for me. Crap. Now, I am wondering if she won't refill it at all, or if she won't refill it until my appointment in about 1 1/2 weeks. I have three pills left. *gulp!* Now I am also wondering what I will do if she won't refill it at all. Can I do this without Phentermine? I am bouncing up and down between 170 and 172. That's fine, and I don't think I am gaining. It's normal to fluctuate, so I think I am really still at 170. I only have ten pounds to get to my intermediate goal. I'm really worried that once the Phen is out of my system, I won't have the drive to continue. I haven't taken a pill today. I decided to not take one and see how it goes without it.

Hi. I started on 6/26 and today I weighed in with a loss of about 8 pounds and 4 inches off my waist! I am working out some, and eating almost 1200 calories a day. I am drinking TONS of water. I was worried that it would keep me up at night, but I already suffer with insomnia. I actually get very sleepy at night and sleep better. I also wake up earlier, and I have never been a morning person. I used to drag myself out of bed, but now, I can't even sleep in. It is strange, but nice! I keep thinking I'm dreaming!!

I don't understand that either..My first week I lost 8 pounds..my second week 3 pounds..so far I have lost 1 pounds this week..my 3rd...maybe because of my TOM?

So today I weighed myself and I have lost a total of 6 pounds in a week, that is great for me!! My husband and family say that they can see a difference already in my sides, my mom says I am starting to get my hourglass figure back! Whoo-hoo!! I am finding it really hard to stay away from all the bad food that everyone else is eating during this 3 day holiday weekend.
I hope I don't gain the weight back that I have lost, I also havent worked out for 2 days. I am still getting headaches and sometimes get a little cranky, I am on the edge and seem to get upset about things that wouldn't normaly get to me. I am about 5 days away from TOM so I don't know if its that or Phen. I am trying to stay positive and relax but when things don't go smooth I get really stressed out. I have my doctors appt on July 21st so I hope I am doing better by then so I can give my doctor a good report in hopes that he will keep my on them and give me another 30 day fill of Phen.

Ok, now i'm getting scared. This is day 4, I got on the scale this morning, and ... NOTHING.
I can't figure it out. I lost more by doing the healthy diet that I was doing before the Phen. I keep reading about how you guys are just dropping weight all over the place, and here I am with a big fat nothing.Well, I'm gonna try to stay positive, and keep hoping for the best. But I must admit, if I don't lose anything by my week 1 weigh in, I'm gonna let the Phen go. If it's not gonna help me lose, I'll just go back to the phen - free diet. |

Ok, this probably sounds strange, but....
At one point I was 233 pounds and a size 20/22....ok, so I have dropped some pounds and am down to 179 and a size 12.....anyway, I swear I don't look much different than I did at 233!!! I still feel fat and hate shopping because everything looks terrible! I really don't think I look any different in clothes than I did before! Ugghhh, frustrating! I guess I don't really have any specific weight number I am aiming for...like 130lbs ect, nor any size goal......just to feel not fat, whatever weight/size that may be. |

I think I sort of do the WW....I do allow myself a "treat" if it fits into the caloric intake. LOL, well I make sure it fits in by choosing lower calorie foods so I can eat the treat. I buy the "Skinny Cow" brand ice cream sandwiches and fudge bars. It gives me enough of a treat so I don't go nuts, while still being lower calorie. I also do Alli with meals. Don't know if it really helps, but I think it does so that's all I need...lol |

You hit the nail on the head, I may feel decent for the day, then as soon as I try to find something that looks good, It all goes downhill. It's amazing how much our perception of what we look like affects our mood. And that's just the thing. It's our PERCEPTION of what we look like. Because we have body issues, we have a skewed reality when it comes to ourselves. We can appreciate weight loss in others, and congratulate them on what they have clearly accomplished, but we can't accept it in ourselves. Also, I am doing a modified version of WW. I still track my food on their website, and keep up with the number of points i eat. But I have reduced the number of points i take in. They allow me 29 i think, and I try to come in at about 22. Which works out to be about 1100-1200 calories. |

Hey everyone!
I have had trouble with my pc and none of your posts were coming up i only saw older ones and then i deleted the cookies/temp internet files on my pc and now its working again(i had thought no one was posting,except for me lol) Anyway i see that some of you guys are having trouble with shopping. I think that when we lose weight we expect for our bodies to look totally different in the beggining. It takes time and more weight loss for me to feel like clothes look amazing on me. A few years back when i was 14 i went on the atkins diet and lost 65 lbs! I went from 192 to the 120s. I remember that when i lost the first 20lbs/30 i still didnt feel like clothes looked good on me. It took more time and weight loss for me to feel wonderful. Maybey this is your case. Keep up the hard work ...... visual results will come and before you know it you will lose more weight and LOVE shopping!

Good Afternoon all!!!
How's everyone doing today?? Well...I'm not reporting my weightloss till Monday! I can't stay off the scale, but still...lol. I just made my chicken for the next couple meals. I HAVE to start planning dinners or something. I can't keep throwing meals together at the last minute or I'm not gonna be able to stick with it! Last night, my sister and neice were here. She wanted hamburger helper. I told her I couldn't have that. I looked in our pantry and we had chicken fried rice helper. I looked at the side. Not great, but not bad if I only ate a cup! So I made both for all of us here. My husband and neice ate the one and my sister and I ate part of the other. I did only have my cup and then I made one of those steam in a bag brocc/calif/carrots. I think I did really well! Then later one in the evening when they were eating ice cream, I ate a Crystal Light popcycle!!! I was really proud of myself. I didn't expect any loss today, but I didn't gain back anything, either! So we'll see!! Went to Sams Club yesterday and got a big bag of chicken, some laughing cow cheese Lite, and mutigrain Wheat Thins. They didn't seem to bad as long as I followed what it says to eat! They are really good, too!!! Anyway, just wanted to post what I've done past two days! Keeps me accountable! Makes me feel better... I hope you all are doing great! Have a good day!!!! |

So Iv been reading everyones posts and was getting anxious because Iv only been on phen for 4 days. I was 236 at the DR on the 30 of June. I heard about phen from a friend who found me on facebook and just recently had a baby like I did. She had her child in DEC and had pictures up of herself in June in HI looking great and about 30 pounds lighter!! I asked her what she did and she said phen and VIT b 12,b6, and whole lotta other b's shot once a week. She gave me the name of the DR and I started July 1. I have not dared weigh myself since it has only been 4 days. Reading what you guys were saying made me think maybe it couldnt hurt to just peek at the scale, perhaps I lost a pound or two and that would be some motivation since today im feeling a little sluggish. I think im getting a small tolerance to the phen but have read drinking lemon juice helps you to avoid tolerance to the drug, anyone interested in this Dr's article on phen let me know and ill send it along. SOOOOOOOOOOO, I just weighed myself. Iv LOST FREAKING 11 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IN 4 DAYS!!! WHAT?????? I am freaking out,I know some of it is water of course, but holy heck people!! I am shocked. I was 225. I went and grabbed my mother and made her look at the scale too. I am not going to get into the habit of weighing myself every day, but will deff weigh every week and keep you guys posted. I am taking 37.5 a day, plus the shot of B's complex and amino acids, also known as the ''Lipo shot''. That is the only thing im doing different than some of you. The DR said it jumps starts the metabolism and is great for people who have yo-yo dieted. Which is so me. I wish everyone the best of luck and please everyone dont forget to post, you have no idea what a inspiration you all are to me. Everyone hang in there and drink your water and get you 20 min of exercise a day! Good luck!

I came home last night at 12:30 am from work. My oldest was still up and was eating chips. I shared some with her, thinking "oh no!" But got on the scale today and down another 2 pounds!! Total of 10!!
Had a cookout today with family and could hardly swallow a hamburger! Had leftovers at dinner, but was glad I didn't eat like I would without phen! I didn't overdo it! Love this medicine!! Happy 4th!!

hey all!!
Well, tomorrow will be my one week down! Today I have a cookout with the family and I'm kinda worried! I'm sure I'll be fine! I'm taking chicken to be cooked on the grill instead of eating hamburgers or hot dogs! I'm sure there will be some veggies and fruit I can eat! Just still worries me! First pitch in. We shall see! Lol My daughter loves Yo Gabba Gabba (for those who know this kid show) and we don't have it on our cable, but do on the On Demand! I just found it and now my one year old is glued!!! It's her favorite show! It's really the only show she'll actually watch! It's an annoying show, but really repetitive, so good for her! Lol just had to share! It's so cute! So I have found a way to get my 20 min of cardio everyday, I choose a room and vacuum behind everything, pull out furniture and get underneath things and take out the attachments and get along the side of all the walls in the crack and creaks of everything. I try to make it last at least 20 min....but man does it get me working so its just another way to sneak in exercise. Hope everyone is doing well today....

Hey Everyone. I started Phentermine 5 days ago. Ive lost 7 pounds so far. I try to eat 1200 calories but with my busy schedule I dont get that many. Ive noticed the shakes after taking the pill..My Dr tells me to take it 30 mins before I eat in the morning. But I never have meals in the morning. Im trying to eat even though Im not hungry. My friends and family are constantly asking me what is wrong with me because Im usually cracking jokes and laughing but when the medicine is in my system Im quiet and dont say too much. I work for the Doctor who prescribed me Phentermine so Ill be checking in with him today for some tips

Good Morning All -
So today is one week on Phen.....I weighed myself this morning and am down a total of 6lbs. That is pretty good for me! I am totally excited and can't wait to see the dr. next week. With the holiday weekend I was a bit nervous as we were going to a couple BBQ's. I wanted to have fun and enjoy with everyone else so I spent some time at the store looking at all the hot dogs. While I know none are good for you, I was able to find a all beef dog that is no fat and was only 50 calories! WOW! I was even able to get my husband to eat those instead of the regular ones. Anyway better get back to work. Have a great week!

I'm chiming in! I started 7/1. I haven't been dieting really. I don't eat bad, I just eat ALOT! My DH is an avid runner and our 2 boys are involved in athletics. All 3 of them are very lean. We don't eat anything that is fried and may eat out once a month. I was eating plates the same size as theirs! We eat a lot of chicken and fish. Grilled or baked.
I had LapBand about 4 1/2 years ago and lost about 80 pounds. I gained back 40 and lost 10 before starting Phen. I'm having a hard time getting my band adjusted just right. I am either eating too much or can't even swallow water! I've done really well this week. I have had some issues with nausea late in the evening and dry mouth terrible! It feels like I have a wool sweater in my mouth! I'm living on water with lemon and chap stick! I'll post my weight on Wednesday! I love this thread! -K

GOOD MORNING EVERYONE!!!!
I'm so happy this morning! I'm down 7 pounds last week!!! I was really scared this morning to see what it was going to say because I did eat a few bad things yesterday, but the kicker was how much I ate of those bad things! I was VERY surprised because when I finished going through the line, my plate was half EMPTY!!!! I've never had that happen before!!! Usually, I'm looking to where I can put MORE STUFF!!! I ate half a piece of chicken, little spoon of green bean casserole, little spoon of corn casserole, a few small spoons of desserts! I figued I'd gain at least a couple pounds, but I didn't!!! And I was full after eating that!!! I'm so excited!!! How did everyone else do?? Today's weigh in day (for some)!! ![]() Talk to you later!!!! |

Well, this morning on our way into town to go to work, we stopped at a gas station for our morning stuff--coffee for me, Red Bull for him, cigarettes, etc. I had on a black pencil skirt with a pink sweater. I went into the store while hubby stayed in the truck. The gas station is usually full of men on their way to work, and this morning was no exception. First, this really cute guy stopped and held the door for me and just grinned so cute. When I couldn't find the drink my hubby wanted, the guy behind the counter came over to help me, and he was all-smiles, too. At the register, guys got out of the way to let me go first. It was neat. Back in the truck, my hubby said, "Well, I think you made quite an impression on everyone at the Shell station this morning! You were the center of attention!" And he just grinned, too. It was neat. It's fun to finally not feel like a pork chop and actually start feeling like a chick again!
