    Question BMR....alot of calories

I just did my BMR and it says Im supposed to eat 1824 to reach my goal weight of losing 2 lbs a week...so if I dont eat this much..Ive been averaging 900-1200 a day will I stilll lose weight? how does this work? I dont want to start into a starvation mode or burning muscle...I also walk for 20 minutes most every day, plus general house cleaning and playing with the kids......any ideas for me?

    thank you

One of the girls on here said to figure out how many calories you should have in a day do your BMR figures to the weight you want to be not the actual weight you are. Hope that helps.

I take the weight I want to be and times that by ten. for example I want to be 144 so I eat 1440 calories a day. This seems to be working pretty good for me
