Will start taking Phentermine, taking Xenical now

I am taking Xenical for about 1 week, but haven't seen much change. I just ordered Phentermine, and I can't wait to start. Everyone says that they lose weight, but I can't imagine myself losing anything. I feel a little negative about this, because I keep thinking how hard it'll be to stop eating all the sweets that I like so much. Did anyone have to give up all snacks on this medicine??

You don't HAVE to give it up, but when I take the phen I don't have the WANT for snacks. If I go way to long without eating.....like skip breakfast and then run late for lunch I do get hungry, but after a light meal I am good to go again.

The doctor gave me Xenical too, but I've been too chicken to try it. I read about all the messy side effects and haven't even opened the bottle, even though it cost quite a bit more than the phen did.

You can actually take the 2 meds together. Xenical only works on the GI tract....keeps about 1/3 of the fat you eat from foods from digesting...

My doctor gave me a prescription for Xenical, Phen and a water pill. I only take the Phen and water pill daily. The Xenical causes you to go to the bathroom and other messy things like stomach aches when you frist try it. I take it maybe once a week. It is suppose to be used only if you eat a meal that is heavy in fat.

I think the OTC Xenical looks more promising than the ** because of the side effects. I have read that the GI issues are worse if you eat unhealthily, which might be a good behavior modification trick. Heavy fat/carb meal = lots of time in the bathroom.

All I ever hear are the bad side effect things for Xenical. It would be interesting to hear from those who have used it successfully. But it's so expensive...

I hated it...I tried it..for two months..I did lose 8 pounds...but the mess that comes with it was horrible...
I tell you, I wore a pair of Khaki pants to woek one day and got up to go to the rest room and honey, when I came back, the grease, oil that immits from the xenical came through on my pants...its not like you can feel it..it oozes...It list that as a side effect..
and let me just tell you, my tail was not too big to where I couldn't clean up myself....
It's just there...gross..
sorry for being so blunt..I had to make it clear...
I wouldn't pay 149.00 a month to do it again.
So, I'm in love with Phen..and HCG..and the water pill...having great success.
