I have been on phen for a week and i have really bad dry mouth. does anyone know how to make the dry mouth better,

Make sure you are drinking lots of water!

Also sugar-free gum helps.

Give it some time and it will lessen up some, it will not go away completely, it is just one of those side effects you have to deal with. Mommy2cody is right, WATER and GUM, you wouldn't find me without one or the other or both.....

I try to look at it as a way that I make sure I drink plenty of water. In fact yesterday was my first day & that's all I drank all day.

I also look at it as a positive, because if I didn't have it, I don't know that I would be drinking as much water. It does become cumbersome, because I simply cannot quinch my thirst, but the sugarfree gum does help.

Water is key to both dry mouth and weight loss. I really don't like water and don't drink enough so the dry mouth is helping me in that regard.

Congrats Kasey on losing the 5 pounds!

I will tell you a funny story about the dry mouth, I had been on Phen about 2 weeks and I had to go to traffic court, well, while I was talking to the judge, my mouth got so dry I thought I was going to die! My tongue felt like it was 3 inches thick, I was almost slurring! The judge finally looks at me and asks me what is my problem! I was to embarrased to say, well sir I am taking diet pills! So I said, I had taken an allergy pill and asked if I could get a drink of water and he said NO! Jerk!
Anyway, every since I don't go anywhere without a water bottle in hand!

that story is to funny I bring water ever place i go are buy to all the time. I hope me 2 months is as good as yours.
