Default Good idea orrrr Not such a good idea

    Hey again!!
So my weightloss goal is to weigh 200 lbs by September... Because of my shape that'll most likely put me in a 14/16 somewhere in there but my ultimate goal is to wear a 10/12 by December (approx. 175 lbs.)... Here's the deal, idk if anyone has ever heard of the store Forever21 but... I FRICKIN LOVE THEIR CLOTHES, lol lol... I also want to be able to shop there and ACTUALLY BUY SOMETHING, lol they only go up to a large , so I was thinking, should I purchase an "inspiration dress", it'll probably be a Large (since I wanna be a 10/12 by December)... and for those of u who dont know, an "inspiration dress" is a dress you buy with hopes of fitting into it by the end of your weightloss journey.... YES, NO, MAYBE, NOT A GOOD IDEA????? idk, you guys tell me... Thanx!

I love forever21, my daughter is starting to shop there, i could never even dream of fitting in their clothes. I have lots of friends that purchase "inspiration clothes" and it has worked well for them. I guess it depends on what motivates you. I usually don't go out and do this because i worry that even if i get into the size, the cut won't be flattering to my figure (even when i was a 10/12 i could never find anything that hid my problem areas)

I think that if you know that you really want that dress, and it may not be there in september...go for it!! this way you will never feel like you missed out on a specific outfit or style because of your weight.

congrats on your 10lbs, you can get to 175..just stay motivated

I say, go for it. Today, I went into American Eagle thinking I may find something in the size I thought I was. Turns out, I actually fit into their stuff now! Didn't even know my body was changing that much since I see myself everyday!

I have a whole closet full of 'inspiration jeans' all the way down to size 9. For some stupid reason i got rid of all my 5's and 7's thinking I would never be that small again but now i know i can do it!
Right now i just would like to fit into the 13's though because thats what i was wearing before i got preggo but i just can't get the darn things buttoned. So those are my inspiration clothes! (by the way yes i wear junior sizes because anything even sized just does not fit my body, i have no hips and no butt so all even sized stuff just gaps or falls off of my butt and looks awful)

But if i saw a hot dress in a small size that was priced really good then i would most definitely buy it because you can always take it to a Taylor and get it taken IN if you get smaller because you KNOW you will lose that much weight!

I' ve never heard of Forever 21. They sound like they have some really cute and inexpensive things. I say go for it! Right now, I have a size 16 pants hanging on the back of my door. Every morning I wake up and think to myself, " I am going to wear those pants. " lol. After, I get into the 16's, I'll probably buy a size 12. Good luck girlie!

It depends on the top, for me I always check the length, they show length online then I measure some of my favorite tops in my closet and compare length with that. The sizes run true to size but I don't like my muffin top or whale tale hanging out so I like longer tops.

Serious??? Cause I weigh like 200 and can't really fit in their stuff...I love their clothes and can't wait to be able to shop there and get clothes that fit comfortably, not squeeze into them tight...I might need to go check them out again...maybe they aren't making their clothes quite as teeny tiny anymore~that would be nice~

Forever 21 is awesome! OH and FYI they just came out with a plus-size line called FAITH 21!!! It goes up to 2x... it is only available in select stores and online, BUT it seems to be a big hit so i'm sure it will expand soon!! Also, when i'm at 200 i'm normally around 14/16 as well.

GO FOR IT! I love Forever 21 too! I went shopping there when I was in CO. Every time I see that store I gotta go in! It was great feeling when the clothes actually fit! inspiration clothes are huge motivators. I buy an inspiration outfit like once a month.

Thanks every1 for the comments... thaey are greatly appreciated- I was asking because I was reading somewhere on the internet that if you buy clothes that are sizes to small for inspiration that there is a 'great' possibility that you may become discouraged when week after week you are in the same predicament of not being able to fit into the clothes... so, i might go ahead and go through with getting the dress... actually, I was on ebay yesterday and I saw a bebe dress I wanted sooooo bad, but it was kind of expensive to say I can't wear it yet.... but hopefully something will work out- Thanx every1 for your support and encouragement!! WEIGH IN TOMMORROW!! I'm sooooo nervous!
