    I am 1 month in to phentermine I have lost at last weigh in 6 lbs (last week) But I have turned into Super B****!!!!! I heard that Prozac or something like that will help, is this true? I need some help Quick.

    Not sure about prozac, but I had the same problem, after researching it, I started taking 5-htp and for the last 2 weeks my moods have improved greatly.

    Try a nice soothing hot bubble bath, with a frozen margarita, sip, relax, light a candle, hope that helps.

    LOL - I know what you mean too - I thought I was neurotic BEFORE phen - and now - I could write for Seinfeld!!!
    Seriously though - I haven't tried the 5-htp... yet, but I found that exercising actually helps take the edge off - and now that I'm in my 9th week - it's gotten better. Everyone is different, but for sure I'm not as moody. I just have to watch out for the TOM - cause that is definately still a mine field.

    My poor BF huh?
    I hope you start feeling better though - I think this was the worst part of starting phen for me, so I know what you mean.

    Since I started Phen I have been in a great mood and was so glad I didn't understand what people talked about regarding the bad moods. I was even on zoloft and weaned myself off before starting Phen. So I was dealing with some depression but once I started Phen it was gone and I felt great!

    Well yesterday my kids were sick and I didn't have a chance to move around at all really. It was just a lazy day of laying around watching movies with them. I started feeling somewhat depressed and it got worse. Then by dinner time I had this unbelievable RAGE inside of me for no reason. I felt like I just wanted to tear things down off the walls and throw things around the room. I even gave myself a timeout and went in the bedroom by myself for awhile to get away from the kids (how horrible ).

    Finally after the kids were in bed I was still so mad (for no reason) and I decided to try to use some of that energy for good and exercised. I just did the WATP 2 mile walk (30 minutes) and afterwards I felt great! I was like a different person.

    So I don't know if my original bad mood was from the Phen and not having a chance to use up that energy it gives you, or from lack of sleep the night before being up with the kids, a combination or what. But all I know is that exercising turned me into a different person so now I know that I really need to do some type of movement right away when I get up each day. Even stuff like doing the laundry or dishes, general cleaning or anything will help.

    Oh, and I usually take the 5-HTP but I didn't yesterday. LOL so maybe that is the simple answer right there.

    Good luck finding something that helps with that mood! I hated feeling like that. It reminded me of what "roid rage" would probably feel like.

    OMG I was beyond b*tchy when I first started Phen...I couldn't stand myself. Much less understand why anyone would want to be around me.

    I was like a different person. My poor boyfriend...

    Thank goodness it went away after the first month or so. I noticed a huge difference in my temperment when I changed from taking the 30mg capsule to taking 1/2 a 37.5mg in the morning and the other half later in the day. I got back to my usual bubbly, kind, caring self.
