    Unhappy How Long does it take for the pill to take affect???

    OK so today is my second day on the pills and I still feel hungry. I have begun calorie counting, which means barely eating so it seems, and yet I am still hungry even taking the pills. I have read alot of posts here and from everything I see they make you not want to eat right?? So why is it that it is not working that way? Does it take a few days to adjust? I also had to shots in the clinic if that helps any. I got the b12 combo and another shot that is supposed to help burn fat and lose inches. My husband keeps telling me I have to eat just watch what I am eating but I am afraid of the calories. Like today it is almost 1 oclock here and I have had a bagel and a yogurt and water and I am starving!! If anyone can help me I would GREATLY appreciate it. Thanks!!

    Hello-

    When I got my script filled the pharmacist told me not to eat the first 2 hours after I took the pill so it has time to start working. That has helped me. I take it around 6am and eat around 8am. The web said if you drink caffine it makes it more effective and sometimes I notice it does.

    When I first started going to my weight loss dr in Apr of last year. he told me to take
    my Phen right when I pop out of bed. Wait at least 1 hr before eating breakfast..Drink lots of water.. I took my Phen at the same time every day .. it was 37.5 mg a whole capsule a day. What time are u taking yours?

    Well yesterday I took it about 7:15 and ate breakfast about 8:45. I felt a little jittery so decided this morning maybe I should take it with some food, that is when I had the bagel. Today I dont really feel the affects like yesterday though. Maybe that is what I need to do is wait and eat later but yesterday I was still hungry also. I am taking 30mg's maybe I need a higher mg?     I have been on Phen for 1 week now. The first 3 days I didn't feel the affects - I was actually getting the opposite side effects (fatigue, hunger, etc.)! After about the 4th day, it started kicking in. Make sure you drink plenty of water, even when you think you're hungry because you may just be dehydrated!

    That is what i did every day. Take my phen at 9:30 am and wait at least one hr before eating. Wake up in the
    morning . take your phen and start the water. and drink it all day.. Try to drink at least half of your body weight. example= 145 lb woman would need to drink at least 72. 50 oz of water a day.
    Try to keep your calorie intake at 1200 a day. Get at least 30 mins of excerise a day . 4 times a week.
    Change everything in your fridge to fat free and sugar free.. i am in the chat room right now. if u wanna talk.

    Mizz don't worry this is me second week on phen.. and I just stared to feel the efects.. so i guess it takes more times for some people (like me) so don't worry! keep going! it will work!

    Starving yourself is not the answer. Neither is skipping meals. It isn't healthy and it slows your metabolism down. You should be eating 5 or 6 small meals a day. If you eat clean foods then you will be able to have more food that fits within your calorie range. Fibrous vegetables are great because they are usually very low in calories but are very filling.

    When my doctor started me on Phen he explained that I needed to eat 1200 calories and that I would feel hungry all the time. I block out pain pretty well. Deal with lots of pain most days. So I figured I could deal with hungry.

    The poor people around me....I'm hungry AND in pain every day, lol. It's a lethal combination.

    Just wanted to give u a little advice...If u mix caffiene with phen its not a good thing....U shouldnt have very much caffiene while on phen...Caffiene will also make u more hungry and make u crave foods........I havent had caffiene in soooo long and dont even miss it now...good luck on your weight loss......TAZ
