Default Phen. strength question
My pills came from a weight loss clinic, not pharmacy and they are split in half. The bottle states they are 18.75 mg. I am to take one of the 1/2 pills a day. I am very pleased with the results so far. I am into my 5th week and have lost 15 lbs. I expect the weight loss will slow down and am totally fine with that. I want this to be a permanent thing, not a fast loss and end up regaining it. I do wonder about the dosage. It seems like a low dose and I do still have to fight the cravings, just not as much as before. I really don't want to up the dosage because I feel like I am learning to just say no to my cravings but part of me really would love to take two of the 1/2 pills to see if it makes it easier. I wouldn't do that without my doctor saying it was okay but I do wonder how a higher dosage would change things.

I hope that being on a lower dose helps me be able to maintain my loss when the time comes that I am no longer taking them. Anybody have any thoughts, input or similar experience?

Oh and I should add my doctor put me on a 1000 cal. diet in addition to the pills.

It appears that they have you on the 37.5 pills split which is the 18.75, so I would just ask if you can take 1/2 in a.m. and then 1/2 later on in the day. I feel that works better than taking the whole 37.5 at once, but everyone is different. Speak to Dr about it the next time you go in, they shouldnt have a prob with you starting to take a whole 37.5 per day.

I take mine the way that julie godsey suggested. I take half in the morning and the other half in the after noon for fear that i may have late-night cravings. So far it's worked pretty well. I've lost 26 lbs since 9/25 yet, i have only lost a pound in 3 weeks... AARRRGGG!!!! I was actually thinking about taking the whole thing when i wake to see if something different happens. Anyways girly, stay strong and keep your focus on you goal!!!
