Hey sexy people.

I had an appointment with my GP yesterday. I had been prescribed Tentuate Dospan by my physician at a diet clinic I visit and basically by GP was horrified this had been given to me.

I have a lot of ongoing health issues, including some servere respiratory disorders (all of which were made clear to my slimming physician) and as a result it's apparently really dangerous for me to be on Tenuate/Phen etc.

I was offered Xenical but as I already am eating low fat don't see the point of these so for my health I'm now off the Tenuate as of this morning and going it alone.

I've lost 10lbs so far in 2 weeks and I hope I can stick to the 1200 diet on my own and keep losing. I'll still post here etc if no-one minds though as I find this a great support and motivator.

One good thing though is that I was measured at the Drs and not only did my weight come it at about 196lbs (though I'll stick to what mine at home say) but I am also an inch taller than i thought so my BMI is a lot better than I thought. xx

haha they sort of did the same thing after my first month, they told me I was acctually an inch taller than I thought. I am sorry you can no longer take anything to help with the loss, but you can do it without help, you just have to help yourself, why dont you join the 4 week challenge to keep you motivated? That might help set your goals and try and work hard to achieve them. You can still post on here of course! We are here to support weight loss with or without phen, good luck

I'm sorry to hear you had to give up the phen...but we are all here for support if you need us. You could also join the after phen divas. Scat is awesome with the advise and support!!! Please keep posting i enjoy reading them. Especially you being a world away. Unfortunately I was told on my first Dr appt I am shorter than I originally thought. It was only 3/4 of an inch but that put me sooo close to 5'2". LOL But I can handle the 5'1" I guess Short is Short!! LMAO. Keep in touch Kitty I will call you out on the board if I don't keep seeing your posts!!! Take care hon and stay positive!!!

I'm in ONEDERLAND Height - 5'6" SW - 217lbs (22/09/08) CW - 196lbs - (15/11/08) CW - 194lbs - (19/11/08) - Surprising as Tom arrived yesterday GW - 140lbs - 147lbs LIFE AFTER PHEN DIVA. Thanksgiving challenge. I want to be 188lbs by Thanksgiving.
