Keep up the good work. I know your pain, believe me. They need to come up with something other than steroid to inject! That's a death trap for weight, those steroids!

Today is one week I have been on the Diethylpropion.
I have lost 4 lbs.
My appetite is under control. I still get dry mouth but other than that, there are no side effects that I see.

hi everybody!
i just started taking this again this week as i want to lose my final stone - lost 1st 10lbs from oct 08 - dec 09 - on diethylpropion - havnt gained an ounce since i stopped taking them either - had to stop for financial reasons but now so depsperate to lose that last little bit for summer then i will be at my all time goal of 10 stone - im 5ft 5 so i think that will be ok.

I take Phen 37.5 and the Tenuate, I started the Tenuate last week but I haven't been consistent with it. My doctor prescribed it with the Phen because regardless when I took the Phen I was always hungry at night. So I take Phen in the morning or early afternoon and the Tenuate before dinner.

i still take tenuate i am still at 175lb i go up to 177lbs and i then i lose and gain so i am at a stalk plus i went back to my pcp and she adjust my thyriod meds so maybe i will see a difference ,when ever she lower the dosage of my thyriods meds i have the tendency to drop weight quickly plus i ask her for wellbutrin and she gave it to me i told her when i get depress i start eating maybe overeating. but she won't give me nothing for weight loss so that's why i went to a weight loss clinis and i started that last march 07 and i went from 225 down to 175lbs in a year so it been a year this months.and i have stop going to weight clinic because my husband and i is leaving virginia which he already left to go to florida were we be station at in mayport so i just trying to get this house sold before i leave here.. so i rather not start all over again here and then i have to leave and have to pay that money , but i do have alot of tenuate left .so i skips days from taken it . but when i do get to florida i will find a clinic there. so tenuate do work , adipex didn't work for me nor did fastin.

Phentermine is not for many of us at least for me! I had all of the ugly side effects! including chest pain and panic attack!
The insomnia was terrible, Constipation, confusion etc......
I gave up on phentermine, I felt terrible, I decided to go back to my doctor and he gave me DIethylpropion 75 mg once a day. No hungry at all!! I had a headache the first day, but that was about it!!!

This pill it is only by prescription.
I started july 7, i have not weight myself yet, but I know i have lost weight cuz my clothes is not to tight anymore!!!

talk to your dr. about this pill if you couldn't tolerate phentermine pill

I had to stop taking phentermine do to palpitations and am getting ready to head back to the docs office this afternoon. He's talking about me taking tenuate now.

My Dr. gave me 25mg Diethylprop to take in the evenings. I take this in addition to the 37.5mg of phen.
It seems to curb the munchies I get at night.
I was taking half my phen in the morning and half in the afternoon, but I just couldn't sleep. So my Dr. told me to take the entire phen pill in the A.M. and use the Diethylprop at night. The insomnia no longer bothers me.

I left the docs office and I was right.. I walked out with a script of tenuate. Well, the generic atleast.
I hope I can take it well w/o issues like I did on the phentermine. If I can't take this, then the doc said that was it. (bummer!)

I was wondering if this thread is still going. I went last Wed. March 31st to my weight loss doctor. She put me on Tenuate 75mg and a liquid diet of protein shakes every 3 hours 5 times a day. I am 27 years old and my starting weight on Wed was 233. When I saw that I could have had a heart attack! So far as of today April 6th I am down to 225! I have 4 children and my husband is a U.S Army Drill Sgt and is hardly ever home. Getting out to walk is somewhat hard for me because we have main roads and my 3 year old likes to run ahead. I did however buy the Wii Active and the first time I used it the thing kicked my butt! I got through maybe 4 of the exercises on low intensity and couldn't move! When I woke up yesterday morning after doing it my legs felt like rubber. Ok, enough of my jabbering haha. My name is Beth and I really hope this is still going because the support would be great!
