Default THE GREAT DEBATE...ADIPEX VS GENERIC

Just wanted to say that from my personal experience...the adipex is working much better for me...I had to refill my script and asked for the adipex just to see if there would be any difference...and there has been a substancial difference...yes there was a cost difference...but it has been worth it....thats all...hope ya'll are having a great day!

Funny right before I came on I was thinking the same thing. What a difference. I was just thinking how I was wasting my time and money on the generic crap and with adipex-p I am finally seeing results. I have not changed anything so I know it is that the generic just **** or atleast the Caraco brand. I will pay the extra for the brand name, to me it's just worth it to get to my goal weight.

I paid 72$ on friday for it. This is day 3 and I really dont know if it is working or not. I feel a bit hazy but then again I havent been feeling the greatest. I do feel a bit of cotton mouth with the adipex. I am hoping my body is just adjusting to the adipex and I will see any difference here in the next week.

Now I am totally confused...when you all talk about the generic what is that name of it? What do you mean? I get so confused between Apidex and Phentermine. My bottle says Phentermine and it cost me $30.00 . It is 37.5 MG? Am I on the real stuff or the Generic.....Qualitest is my manufactoror!!!

you are on generic, the brand name is called adipex and costs more - made by gate pharm. You are on my old phen, It didn't work as well for some, It wore off after 2 weeks and our weight came off very slow.

That isn't the case for me. the generic - phen works great! I think that they both work actually, the variance comes in place when with our bodies. This is why one person can use something or use a particular method and get results and someone else can do that same thing and nothing happens. I think you have to try it and see if it works for you and if not move on to something else. There are testimonies on here with results (fast and slow) and there are some that aren't so good...but they do vary (you have to remember that). It's all about what YOU put into it

I agree that each brand might work different for each person, alot of people complain about the same manufactors.
As for the "It's all about what YOU put into it" comment I don't know if it's Phen rage or what but my first initial reaction was that seemed alittle judgemental, like just because someone isn't losing weight they're not doing what someone like "you" are doing who has lost weight.
I eat very healthy and exercise through out the day and with the generic brand I would go back and forth the same 9 pounds and now that I am on phen-p I actually see my hard work is paying off. It becomes very frustrating for someone when they know they are working so hard and not seeing results, and then someone who just might have a different lifestyle, metabolism, blood type, ect take the same pill maybe even do less activity and possibly even eat different and still lose and point fingers, once again this might possibly be Phen rage, because I never said anything mean to peoples option here, but it really did hit a nerve.
Since I am confessing what else hits a nerve is when newbies come on giving advice, and being so positive. Then all of a sudden you don't see them, it makes me wonder if they platued too. Uh didn't think it would happen to them and wham. The fact of the matter is ofcourse your going to lose a decent amount in the beginning and then it just doesn't work the same anymore. This is not derected at you at all it's just my observation. Ok I think I got some serious PMS, ESP and phen rage which makes me a B I T C H who knows it all. LOL sorry for the post

I know in my case, I'm on the generic Phen 37.5 mg by Qualitest & I've only lost 7 lbs in 6 weeks. And that was during the very first week. Now THAT is frustrating, especially when I know my Phen is working fine for me, I'm watching everything I eat & jounalizing to keep things around 1200 calories (my husband is about to kick me out the house for being so picky- LOL!), working out 6 days a weeks, & drinking 8-10 glasses of water a day, yet the scale doesn't move. The ONLY consolation is I'm feeling better & stronger & knowing my clothes are looser.

Unfortunately, I'm one of those newbies that came here all gung-ho in the beginning, although I never gave advice about using Phen, but lately have not been posting much. It's not anything to do because I didn't think I'd plateau (how can I plateau if I didn't loose much to begin with?). It's because I have nothing to really contribute. I DO read all the posts everyday & I'm totally thrilled for all of everyone's accomplishments, but it does get rather dishearting when all I can do is congratulate everyone but have no such results for myself that I can share. I sometimes feel like a fifth wheel here. So.. I stay quiet unless I feel I have something to say that may be helpful.

Bottom line is... I'm still here, I'm still working hard at what I'm doing, regardless of the results, & I'm not giving up. And I'm keeping my mouth shut (for the most part).

Btw, not sure if everyone is aware of the reason I dropped out of the Christmas Challenge. It's not because I didn't want to be a part of it, it was because I did not want to hinder my team in anyway, knowing what was happening with my scale not moving, week after week. I figured it best for them & myself to just personally continue doing what I had to do. I can handle myself being disappointed but it would hurt me even more knowing I was making my team loose out. Just won't do that. So, I stepped down. Hope you all understand.

And while I AM here, being chatty...

Congrats to all!I see all the great accomplishments & strides ya'll are making. And ladies, you're lookin GOOD!
