burn more calories basically, you're maintaining you weight, your calories out needs to be more than your calories in
Do what you feel, but whatever you do...dig it... - myself

This going to sound strange but whenever I've plateaued before I go eat chinese food. It seems to jump start my system (I did it last night as a matter of fact ) and it's tasty. I read about it somewhere and since I love chinese food, I tried it. Also switching up your routine ie foods, caloric intake, exercise work too :P happy losing

I plateaued for about 2 months and got it moving again by dropping my calories and upping my exercise. When you have lost weight your body gets used to what you have been doing so you need to change it up....dont drop your cals below 1000 a day though then you might keep it in stall mode. Good luck!

I busted my plateau by eating more calories for about 3 days straight. I didn't go over board like eating a whole pizza or anything. Although, I did add some extra carbs back in and things along those lines. At first, I gained 2 pounds back. Then, right after that, I lost 6.5lbs in a week. My first week on the program I lost 6 lbs and then I averaged a loss of 3 lbs a week. So adding in those few days of extra calories really helped my body to shed an above average amount of weight for me the next week.

If you look in the post archives you will notice that a lot of people say to up your calories for a few days then get back to your normal restricted calorie routine. It actually works, much to my surprise. And I didn't believe it until it actually happened to me.

Hope this helps.

I haven't yet experienced the plateau being that I am just on the phen a month come 9-7. But these sound like some great ideas to at least consider or try. This is a wonderful site for information, advice and support!!!!

Good luck!! Keep us posted as to how you broke your plateau!!!!!!

Change up your routine, add weights, incline or workout longer. If you are doing a strict diet have a cheat meal. Its all about tricking your body, once your body gets use to the everday routine you will hit a plateau. I had to learn the hard way also, I was doing the same workout everyday after losing 50lbs I couldnt get the scale to budge. Now I change my workout daily, just a small change here and there.
TRYING TO DO BIG THANGS NOW!
