Red face NOT LOSING/NOT HAPPY
CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT TYPE OF DIET THEY ARE ON WHILE TAKING PHENTERMINE. I'M NOT LOSING AND I'M NOT HAPPY ABOUT IT, I HAVE TO FORCE MYSELF TO EAT 3 MEALS AND I'VE BEEN GAINING WEIGHT.
I'VE BEEN ON PHEN SINCE 8/18/08. THANKS

Well firstly, what type of diet are you on? A lot of us aren't really on "diets" so to speak. . . but rather just eating healthier and changing our eating habits. Phentermine shouldn't be a diet supplement. . . it should help you to control portions and make better decisions about what you eat, so you can have long term success with your weight loss. Personally I am doing a low carb / low calorie lifestyle at the moment, and I eat 3 times a day, 7am, 12pm, and 5pm. . . with very little snacking in between. I've lost 12.2 pounds in a week.

First of all thanks for the reply, I'm still trying to figure this entire website out and how to utilize it.
I thought I was eating healthier, 3 meals a day, starting with oatmeal. I have quit drinking my red wine for 3 weeks now, I have joined OA and and now I'm frustrated. Perhaps I'll try the protein shakes. Do I need to be concerned about the sugar contents in them?

Well naturally you should try your best to limit sugars as much as possible. .especially those in drinks and such, although a fruit a day is okay, as it has other nutrients that are healthy for you, rather than just added sugar. The protein shakes are great for a morning boost and to keep you satisfied til lunch time. Also drink tons and tons of water . I always have a water with me. . and drink 100oz+ per day.

How much weight have you gained since you started taking it? As far as shakes, some have high sugar amounts. Go for something like Atkins shakes.
Starting weight (8-26-08): 222

Indeed, I do the atkins advantage shakes with 1g sugar, 1g net carb.

No problem. Thank you =) I've been down this weight loss path before. . . but this time it's more of a lifestyle change. . . this way I can stick with it. Phentermine is a great aid to be able to allow me to change the way I eat. . . without having to use it forever.

Hmmm...just hang in there. It stinks that some people have a harder time losing than others. Like Billy said, try to limit sugars. Cut down on processed carbs. Complex carbs are best but don't overdo those either. It's all about balance. Start an exercise routine as well if you haven't already. Even if its just a small stroll around your neighborhood. Baby steps! Don't overwhelm yourself. You can do it!
