Starvation Mode - Phentermine.com

Does anyone know about how long it is before starvation mode kicks in?

the human body needs to get to 6 percent body fat to be considered "starving". Not many get that low. The whole "starvation mode" theory is a bunch of crap , no scientific evidence has proven that the metabolism slows down significantly enough when restricting calories to make a difference.

All I know is I've had these "great" ideas like 5 years ago when I would stop eating for as long as I could.. I would lose a few pounds, then 3 days later it would stop and I would stay or gain...

yes and if you continued to starve yourself you would have eventually continued to lose.....anorexics and POW's don't get close to death because they are eating....you don't eat you lose weight...it is basic science. If anyone has real scientific data to prove differently I'd be really interested....don't get me wrong, i'm not advocating starving to lose weight.

I just don't want her continuing on her poor diet because she's afraid to eat. There is truth to stalling/gaining when not eating, but I'm not talking about anorexia, but limiting calories so much you're basically barely eating at all.- and if she stops losing on this poor diet I don't want her to starve herself thinking if she eats at all she'll gain.

You can go 30 days without food as long as you're drinking enough water everyday. Yes I looked it up cause hubby gets mad at me when I go days without eating...had to prove to him that it wasn't hurting me.

Goth, people on hunger strikes live that long without food, you are right.....shoot , no way I could go that long without food.

I couldn't go that long, but a few days I can do with no problem. And don't talk about my relatives...hubby says my hometown is Area 51. LOL!

girl I can't even go a day without eating......although I have been known to skp meals which is probably what caused my demise with my bad gut now....

It's never dull. He's told people that I could kill him in a 101 different ways and he'd never be found. He also told one of his friends, who is really religious, not to talk about religion in front of me because I worship the devil.
