Default Not eating is making me sick!!!!
I posted on the How many calories are you eating a few minutes ago. Can anyone tell me when I will be able to eat more? I can hardly get 500 calories in. I love losing weight this fast, (10 pounds in 5 days) but I am light headed, and the thought of food is awful. It's like when you are just getting over the flu feeling. I'm hungry, but would rather drink water then eat. I started taking a multi vita today hoping it helps. I'm so scared that I will gain every bit back. And I feel guilty if I eat a string cheese!!!!!! Any thoughts?

You have to quit being afraid to eat! It will HELP you lose weight. It doesn't take long for your body to go into starvation mode (saw your other post). Try eating 6 small meals a day, count calories and carbs but DON'T OBSESS! String cheese is fine! Low carb, thats ok.

You can't obsess over EVERYTHING you put into your mouth, nor can you be afraid to eat or NOT EAT AT ALL. You have to swing things around. Find healthy options that you know are good for you and hopefully you won't be afraid of eating them. That's NOT a good thing, and will not help in your weight loss!

Wow! Your story sounds exactly like mine. I started phentermine on 8/22/08 , and am now down 8 lbs. I also can't seem to eat more than 500 calories. Are you working out?

I agree witht the PP about not being afraid to eat. I've had to force myself to eat several times because although I wasn't hungry in my mind, my body was telling me otherwise. You don't have to eat a huge amount. I ate 5 meatballs cooked in some sauce. lol
Starting weight (8-26-08): 222

I felt exactly the same way but as the other's said, you can't be afraid to eat. Your body WILL go into starve mode. Just start by eating fruits or small salads that will take the hunger edge off but not make you feel guilty. You don't have to eat a fried chicken dinner. Mmmmm that sounds good! But if you don't eat something your body will hold on to anything that you will eat later and thus stop your weight loss. Believe me, I found out the hard way!
