Who drinks slim fast shakes on here?How many of them shakes do you drink a day?
How much weight have you lost in a week while drinking them everyday?

I drink the high protein shakes 2 times a day before a work out...i am not sure how much weight i've lost on them separately though. The chocolate tastes yummy!

Slimfast probably isn't the best choice out there for protein shakes... just look at the labels. There are better quality shakes out there... you just get too much crap in the slimfast. Plus, they are more expensive than many better quality brands. Slimfast had one thing going for them... marketing dollars, that's about it.

My doctor meantioned shakes in our first consultation he said his weren't low carb but nutritionally balanced 3.00 each.. How do you feel about them Cruise. I was thinking about the Atkins ones 5.00 for 4 at walmart, I figured they would be low carb. but I'm not much of a sweet eater and the Atkins bars are all sweet. any suggestions??? I will be on a 1000 calories a day which shouldn't be a problem for me...I need energy to excercise.

Taste-wise, Atkins shakes are the only ones I like. I drink one a day.

Thanks Aggie!! I wasn't sure I wanted to pay 3.00 each. Do you use any protein bars I like some granola bars but nothing too sweet. I can say no to chocolate or anything sweet...Just Please don't offer me chips LOL. Has anyone tried the baked ones how are they besides high sodium??

I'm the opposite. I can say not to chips no problem, but chocolate on the other hand is a different story. I like the atkins bars too when I'm having a chocolate craving. The chocolate coconut ones taste just like a mounds bar. So good. But you're right, they are pricy. I just started phentermine on Saturday so I haven't been snacking at all which has saved me some money in not having to buy the atkins bars.

i drink the low carb slim fasts..they only have 2g net carbs & they taste really good ! i drink them for breakfast b/c im definitely not a breakfast person but i have to have something in my stomach since i'm in class from 9-12:50 each day.

i have actually been snacking on the 100 calorie Mini Bites. They have Lays crisp and Cheeto puffs which are both pretty good. I was surprised. So you may want to try those?

I love the protein Detour Bars! They are like SNICKERS EXCEPT GOOD FOR YOU!!

Slimfast is too much sugar and carbs to really be good or effective. Try EAS. Their chocolate shakes are awesome! I make my own with their powder and love them. I also love Nectar's Lemonaide protein mix and their Fuzzy Navel-I add yogurt and I drink a low fat, high protein smoothie for breakfast!

i went and bought some slim fast shakes today at Walmart I got 6 or 7 for $5.90
I also got 5 slim fast bars. I didn't read everyones replys before I went to the store:*(
I guess I should try them since I bought them? How many calories does the Atkins shakes have in 1 can?

I actually like the Slim Fast Shakes. They taste good and have 180 calories, 5 grams of fiber and 10 grams of protein. I'm not much of a chocolate fan so I drink the strawberry kind. I get the Optima kind that's supposed to hold off the hunger for 4 hours. I'm taking a phen break this week and this kinda helps.

I also bought the Slim Fast shakes that hold off hunger for 4 hours.
I got the creamy milk chocolate kind but haven't try one yet.
