Default Oh no winters coming
So I have been on phen for over a month now and I feel like crap! It seems somehow that the weight is just going away so slow. I hate feeling jealous of others and How they lose at least 20 lbs in a month. I exercise everyday and eat right.. No more than 1000 calories, a lot of water, and i have to force myself to eat. I dont get the B12 or anything else beside the 37 mg of phen everday. Now that school started it seems like i will never have time to exercise or do more activities. Not to mention winters coming up oh no! Thats my fat season. my boyfriend and I will go skiing occasionally but i'm more of a summer person, i can swim, go to the beach..just so many activities. what am i going to do once it gets cold????..I want to lose 16 more pounds by my birthday october 16...What can i do to kick my body into gear again?.it seems out of reach...its probably just stress from money problems and school but oh well i felt like i needed to vent...

It was funny because during the winter I couldn't wait for summer and realized I didn't do too much more this summer than in the winter. It was so dang hot I didn't want to be outside. It's a double-edged sword. I'm in Colorado so it doesn't get as cold here as in Maryland, but all I can say is DON'T GIVE UP! Be positive!

I completely understand how you feel. I seem to be averaging about 1.5lb per week. I've been on since July 9 and if I really think how much total I have lost I am happy, but have the other part wishing it was faster like some people. I know I don't mind fall because it gives more chances for me to take kids for walks without it being to hot. Winter, I worry what kind it will be, the year before last it was still so nice through December. Here in MD you never know what to expect. Maybe try to find some videos you like that you can use during winter to keep you exercising. Just remember each pound you lose is gone and if you wanted have started would you have still been gaining?. Good luck Stay positive.

i understand how u feel, but winter months ahve alot of activities taht u may enjoy- take skiing for example that burns cal. Oh swimming indoor burn cal....

i love summer and wish it stay but i drink too much in the summer- always an excuse to drink something cold cause its too hot,

Winter for me is generally a more slow paced time. . although I've recently put a treadmill down in my basement and a weight bench. . . and a tv. . . so I'm working on creating a high energy atmosphere I can utilize over the winter to stay on track with excercise since I won't be able to go outside and walk anymore and such. If that's an option for you. . . you can find a treadmill fairly cheap. Otherwise just hang in there girl, YOU CAN DO IT!!! =)

I have an exercise room in my basement (hubby built it for me). It has a treadmill with iPod hookup and I also have a Bowflex, an AbLounger, Steps, and DVDs.

You're fairly close to me and I could use a work-out buddy to keep ME motivated! Feel free to let me know if you want to join my gym!

Hello my fellow Marylander well as we both know here in Maryland our winters are so darn unpredictable. You said your in school and well your 19 so I'm assuming its college. Do you know if your schools campus has a gym or a weight room? If so try to go there after classes or see when they have open gym hours. Also maybe buy some quick but possibly more intense workout videos for home. They may not be as long of a workout that we are supposed to do but its better than doing nothing and it also will keep you in shape. I hope I helped even if just a little. Good Luck

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I dont have a basement or very much room period. I exercise on my stationary bike everyday but its up in a corner ( in my Roomates room!) and gets quite boring.. but I make it through it anyways. I am doing online college which allows me to be home because working 10 hours a day 5 times a week wont allow me to acctually physically go to college full time also. The gym is out of the question because i dont have the time. billy the bear - i do have a tendancy to hybernate in the winter . I do like to ski but thats 1 or two times in the winter since skiing is at least an hour or two away, now that school has started and I had to take out loans to pay for it I doubt i will have the time or money unfortunately . Also in maryland there is NOTHING to do!! Well maybe not nothing just few things that are usually expensive and boring after you do them regularly. The main things to do here is Shop, Go to the movies, bowling, or ice skating. We went ice skating on friday and hated the snotty teenagers there! I swear I could have punched a teenager in her face and gone to jail...not to mention it cost 12$ a person. geez....Maryland weather does fluctuate so it might be warm but forecasters are saying its going to be a cold winter and its going to be wet! I stop phen after october since its my 3 month mark so i dont know if i will have phen through the holidays eeeghad! I wont let myself make the holidays an excuse to eat either like i usually do.
