Question
Hey everyone! I will be on Phen one month on the 29th and I'm doing great!! I was just wondering if everyone is getting a big energy kick from these pills, because I'm getting none... Is this normal?... I mean engergy wise I feel as if I have the same amount I had before I even started them... ---Good Luck to All---

I've been wondering the same thing, I'd also like to know what the effects actually feel like for others. I barely notice anything and could definately take a nap on any given day. There are lots of 'energy' products out there. Some people here take green tea, Ashley, you may want to look into that. I think it's energizing but I can't remember exactly.

I really think Phen, like so many things, varies wildly from person to person. You can get feedback from 3 people, and the 4th might give you a completely dif answer!!! Some get juiced, some don't. Some shed the weight, others seem much slower. Some have insomnia, some don't. I found the 2nd-3rd time I used phen, the side effects were negligible
Weightloss success depends on changing eating habits (most regain the weight if we return to our previous lifestyle). Eat like the food pyramid. Lots of dark/colorful veggies & fruits; lean proteins (chicken, skim milk, fish); modest amounts of seeds/nuts & whole grains; start walking and do some resistance exercises to build muscle. Good luck!

We have to keep in mind when asking questions like this that everyone is different, but it would be helpful to get some feedback on whether people feel an 'energy boost' & how strong it feels, especially when you hear how common that is and you don't experience it. If people could also let us know what kind they're on that would be great because I think that may be a factor - I'm thinking that time release capsules don't give the kick that immediate release tablets do, and there are many different types/doses.

I take half of a 37.5 time release and it does just fine. ONCE in a great while I get a little... hot I guess you could say, from the blood flow, which if I had taken a whole pill rather than half I'm sure that would be when I had the "energy boost".. so I guess to straight up answer the question it's no lol

Somebody help me run from that burger!!!!

I get an energy boost. Not at huge boost but enough to be very happy with the results. Other medications similiar to phen are used for other disorders that if you symptoms of,phen may help you out more. Adderall is similiar to phen and used for ADD, which can result in more energy for many ADD persons because of how it works with their brain. Sorry if it sounds confusing. When Phen helps out a patient more that most and in other ways other the appetite and weight loss, some doctors recgonize this and will often say you might be add and did not no it.

I don't get an energy boost. If you want a kick of energy, I suggest doing at least 30 minutes of cardio every morning! I am energetic the rest of the day.

I don't do well with those "energy" drinks, they make me really sick :/
Start date October 6, 2006
Weight - 169.6
BF - 38.4%

If it doesn't keep you awake even in the beginning you're very lucky. It did me for the 1st week but not anymore. Sometimes I am able to take it and go back to bed for an hour, somtimes I feel like cleaning! You never knwo for sure.

Someome mentioned adderall. I have a friend who can't take phen but she take adderall and her weight falls off!!

Since someone already mentioned exercise, I believe the best energy source comes from eating properly.

Throw away the sugar pops, the diet chocolate bars, and the other high sugar, high fat. Heavy eaters of man-made foods tend to be ROBBED of energy. The medical industry is constantly telling us that many Americans are not getting enough of just the daily required vitamins, minerals (and CERTAINLY not the phytochemicals and antioxidants.)

Get out your food pyramid, and eat the veggies, the fruits, the lean dairy, the lean proteins, the whole grains. There is very likely a lot the nutritionists still don't understand. But they definitely say that getting vitamins, minerals phytochemicals and antioxidants from your food works a lot better than from pills...
I tried phen, it was good for about 4 days then it wore off, in the 4 days i lost 4 pounds but after that i would take a whole 37.5 in the morning and one around 1pm and nothing, I would be very hungry, so i switched to adderall, it gives you so much energy it really is the best. I am 5'6 134 pounds now but need to get to 120 pounds. But even when i get to my goal weight i will stay take adderall for the energy and the motivation.
