I went to try on wedding dresses and OMG the only dresses that would fit were size 14!!!!! What the hell? Here I am doing to skinny dance cuz my size 12 pants are fitting baggy, and then BOOM!! Size 12 wedding dresses would not fit. Please tell me that these darn dresses run a size or two small ????

Yes very frustrating, hopefully once I hit my goal weight it won't matter because no matter what size fits I know it will be in the single digits

Women don't even think about it. I was 140 when I bought my wedding dress size 8 pants M/L top and had to buy size 16 wedding dress!!!! Kid you not it flipped me out. I was bigger on top than bottom and you have to fit it to the largest part of the body. Like someone else said those dresses run small

I am SO glad to hear that I was not the only one!!!!!! I got married almost 10 years ago and was always skinny , I wore like a size 8 in regular clothes ( was like a size 5 a year or so before the wedding) and then my wedding dress was a size 16!!!!

Girl, it is true....when igot married I was teeeeeeeeny......(back in the Jurassaic Period) and my wedding gown was a ten......and it didnt have to be taken in at all...so girl don't even FRET it...cause wedding dresses don't go by the sizes of regular clothes... AT ALL! They make those gowns in third world sweat shops and they slap on any old sizing...for real yo' cause my aunt worked in one of them.........just go by how you look in it, not by the size....I'm sure you look BEAUTIFUL!

Yeah, certain outfits/clothes/dresses fit differently. I have some shorts that are an 8, and size 12 jeans fit me snug. I don't think anything of it anymore. I think those designers just do it to get a good laugh sometimes.

I wore a size 16 wedding dress and wore a size 10 normally.
