OT-Spanx!!! - Phentermine.com

This might be a little OT but my transition with weight loss would not be complete without a pair of Spanx.

Not sure if anyone on here also uses them but they smooth away areas of your tummy and thighs when you are in that weird awkward stage with a clothing size that you know you will just be passing through.

They are worth every penny and Target carries a less expensive style from the makers of Spanx called Assets.

Thanks for the info. I have thought about trying spanx but they seemed kinda expensive, I will definately check out assets at target.

Yeah they are only $20.00 for Assets Sensational Shaper and they work just as good. They are in the panyhose aisle.
All you need is one pair and because they just go from under the bust to the thigh you don't have to worry about tossing them because of a runner, etc.

They are my favorite! I live in Atlanta, which is where the creator lives and is from. They are awesome and I have worn them for some years now. At first they were really good at hiding the weight gain but then it got a little out of control for me anyway so I am now here, trying to lose some so that I can maybe let go of the spanx! LOL I bought another one just last week from QVC. They had them on there at a good price and payment plan.

I love love love Spanx. I think I am the only person in the world that actually got a RUN in my Spanx. I still have no idea how I did it. I remember before Spanx came out and lycra dresses that clinged to you and showed off everything were popular-we used to cut the bottom of the tightest best support hose off and wear those freakin things under our dresses. We were some stupid bimbos but, it was the 80s and hey, we had fun.

My girlfriend turned my on to their BRAS. NO BACK BACK WITH A BRAELLA. You can get them and spanx on ebay for less.

OMG, I swear by these! They are pricey, but worth every penny! I have the ones that are like biker shorts and they come up right below the boobs. It is the only girdle I have tried that can really elimate the stomach bulge. Also they don't roll down like a lot of other brands do.

I have tried girdles in the past that give you no shape. Almost like it you put it on and it makes your stomach somewhat flatter but then makes you look like you have no waist? Anyway, Spanxx are not like this. They flatten your stomach, give you a waist and you can't tell you are wearing them underneath pants (like some other biker short girdles that show the tale tale sign in the thigh area where the girdle ends and is cinching the fat out the end of it).

If you read a lot of gossip magazines like I do, all the stars wear these under their dress at big events. There was even a photo a few years ago of Katie Holmes where she was getting out the car and her Spanxx were showing.

If you have a dress or something that is a little tight, slap a pair of these on and your clothes will fit comfortably with a little room to give.

I LOOOOVE Spanx! Accept no imitations

I have tried alternatives, nothing compares... Now, as you lose weight they do stretch out and there are only so many washes you can do before you just need the smaller size, especially the cami (which is fine!!! LOL!) I have to get a smaller cami now, but I swear by it! I can go braless with it as well... I no longer wear the mid thigh bodysuit but it got me through a many special occasion! I LOVE the fishnet stockings too!! I have tried so many others and these are worth every penny!!!!!

Hello...I was just wondering if you ever have an issue with them rolling on you...other ones I have tried roll and I spend so much dang time adjusting them...then it just gets really irritating...hahahaha...and I dont need another reason to exhibit my "phen rage"...hahaha....

No rolling or sliding down like other brands - that is why they are so great!! And they really do minimize the stomach and shape all over.

I buy the generic Wal-mart ones. I call them spanky pants. They work great for me. If I wear two pairs I can actually wear my "skinny" jeans!

Yeah, sometimes if I really need some extra slim, I'll wear the spanx and another girdle on top - one of the ones that just goes around your waist. It fits from under the boobs to right under the stomach. Not sure what that type of girdle is called. Anyway, it makes my stomach look flat as a board.
