Default I'm so lost.... OT
Ok, I know some of you lovelies will roll your eyes and tell me to grow up and get over it...

But DH left for dallas yesterday and he'll be gone til Friday this is the first time we've ever been apart
This is training for his new job, and it's a good thing for our family, potentially a VERY good thing!!!!!

But my goodness, I am SO LOST without him!!!! He left around noon yesterday and I bawled like a baby kissing him goodbye and after he left... then I just sat my sulky self down on the couch and watched movies all day and ate!!! I wouldn't say the day was a total waste, I did let the dog out some, and did laundry, but that was about the extent of what my energy would allow...
I did not workout yesterday, or this morning... And i've been eating some chocolate...

So, i'll be pouting for a week, just consider yourself forewarned....

That's a good thing....shows how much you love him. We've been married 15yrs and are still like that when we're apart. Well, except for the crying thing...LOL.

I so feel for you. I hate being w/out my husband or kids! Matter of fact the only time I've really been w/out the kids was to deliver them a sibling! And I came home the next day, and I had a c-section! I would have tried to find a way to go with him. My husband can't leave me no matter how much he wants to! Pout and whine all you want.. It's one of my favorite past times! (((((HUGS)))))

I thought about you yesterday I know this is tough, but a little absence is a good thing... hang in there, do some girlie things... relax, enjoy yourself... as much as you miss him, a little time away really is a good thing... it will bring you closer. Hang in there girl!!!

well what's really jacked up, is that I bawled yesterday, and I mean BAWLED, especially once I walked back into the house and he was down the road, I REALLY let it go!!! Yet, get me to a funeral, and it's like i'm inhuman!!! I have been to a couple funerals these past few years, one family, one not, and not a single tear was shed!!!
I actually felt BAD that I couldn't cry!!! I TRIED, HARD, and NOTHING!!!!
UGH, what's up with that!?!?

Damn, and here I am wishing mine would go out of town for a while.......LOL. I love him, but he's been PMS-ing or something the past couple of weeks and it's irritating the poop out of me. Although about a year or so ago he had to drive his mom to Missouri for her brother-in-law's funeral and they stayed for almost a week and I did miss him after he was gone for a couple of days. I even cried one time because it was lonesome without him. It is nice to have time apart every now and then, though. Get some of your girlfriends together and go out with them to take your mind off of him being gone. You'll be fine.

oh trust me, as I helped him pack, I was steadily thinking of a way to go with him!!! But I have my son this week, so that will definitely keep me occupied in the evenings, plus, I DO have to work, ugh... plus, we barely had the money to get him there & keep him fed, let alone me too!
Thank you sweetie!!! I just hate that i'm not only missing him, but i've also lost my motivation...

are you a newly wed? You need to freaking get over it. are you going to sit and eat and gain weight every time you're without him? because girl that is just pathetic. I think that is called being a codependent. My husband goes to 10 day long conferences all over the world and I tdo what I have to do until he gets back. Do I miss him? hell yeah, but I am not going to fall apart because he's not here...dang...what would you do if you had a husband that travelled for his job? I think part of the reason he digs me so much is that from day one I was intent on being in a marriage but also independent, he has enough stressors without me falling apart when he walks out the door...and if God forbid lightening struck him I'd mourn but i'd also put on a pair of spanx and get on with my life....I have kids to raise and there are things that just need to get done.

I know that isn't what you wanted to hear, but this is who I am....I tell it like i see it and if you don't like it i'm sorry......I won't sit there and coddle you though, ain't my style......please still be my friend?

Yea, going out is SOOO not an option!!! I have my son this week, not to mention we're FLAT broke....
So, it'll just be my lil man, me and whatever fun we can cook up for the next 5 days...

There is a plus side to this, my son will have me ALL to himself this week, which he'll LOVE!!!!!

I'm with you on this one, Scat. I guess I'm a semi-newlywed (married less than 5 years), but I am also fairly independent. I don't tell him what he can and can't do and vice versa. We do lots of thing together, but we also have our separate time to do things with friends. I go out to the club a lot with my friends and he doesn't tell me that I can't and he has his things he does that I don't care to do with him and that's fine with me. We love and trust each other, but we do fine without each other from time to time. I do believe that time away from each other occasionally is good. I don't like being around anyone everyday all the time, so a break now and then does me good. Everyone is different, I guess.
