Hello All:

Day 5 is progressing nicely-I feel so much better today than I have for the past couple of days-thank goodness! And, when I weighed myself yesterday morning I was at 248!! Wow!! And I took two days off from the medication because I felt so crappy!

So, as a result of this unintended experiment, I am going to take the pill every other day. It took a day and a half for the effects of the pill to completely wear off. I think maybe 37.5 mg is a little strong for me but I have a feeling that later on, my body will adapt to the pill and I will have to take it every day. Just like everything else, it is the law of diminishing returns.

Just curious though, how many of you out there skip days or take only half a pill each day? The instructions on the packaging that came with my pills said not to cut them in half because it diminishes their time-release effect.

I have been on for a week now! I also get weird side effects like sweating, cold all the time goosebumps and it feels like spiders are crawling on me! My friend has the capsule form...Has anyone heard of Phentermine capsule?? Just a thought....

6 pounds in one week! That's so amazing. Good work and nice to meet you. You're about two days ahead of me in terms of newbie-ness.

I also get those cold spells but then I get hot and sweaty for no apparent reason..I think this is what a hot flash feels like from talking with my mother-in-law, the symptoms she described fit how I feel.

Congrats on the loss!!!! I can't help you with the other... I intend to take mine every darn day except for vacation times... I need all the help I can get LOL!!! Keep up the great work!
