Stoped Taking Phentermine

I stoped taking Phentermine after being on it for 2 weeks because I kept getting hungry all the time & since I have stoped it I havent been hungry all the time so I do know that it was the medince that made me hungry all the time.I didn't tell my doctor that I stoped taking it because I haven't talked to her for awhile I need to make a doctors appointment & ask her if I can have a higher dose or something,
My friend Brandi read somewhere that if a low dose makes you hungry all the time than u should try a higher dose. Is it really bad that I stoped taking Phentermine without telling my doctor?
It always says on medinces not to stop taking them without telling your doctor 1st.
Why is this?
What should I do?
How long does Phentermine stay in your system for when you stop taking it?
I'm waiting for my sister to tell me when she can take me back to the doctor because I hate driving.
