Northern Michigan??

Anyone here from Northern Michigan? When I went in to see my physician and I told her I gained 20 pounds in 3 months without changing my eating habits, she didn't seem too concerned. She ordered a thyroid test and gave me some Wellbutrin to get my anxiety and stress undercontrol, but she didn't seem concerned with my weight. I am at 160 and am only 5'2" (hardly!!) That is considered obese. I've been getting cravings really bad the last couple of weeks. I was hoping she'd get me some phentermine before this gets out of control. So, anyway, does anyone live around here and know a doctor that would give me some? I tried searching for weight loss clinics around here, but couldn't find anything! Plus I don't have any health insurance.

Hi, Emma, I'm in Northern Michigan. My doctor is very conservative and I'm sure would have never recommended "diet pills" had he not been to a conference in Las Vegas this spring. While there, he heard a well known bariatric surgeon speak about weight loss. My doctor told me what this surgeon said was that not enough doctors were trying medications before they would refer patients for bariatric surgery. And so, I walked out with a script for Phen.

I have lost that crazy overeating urge. It's liberating...and I can eat like a "normal" person. Amazing!

Yeah, unfortunately those places are at least 3 hours away. It mute be okay if they don't do monthly weigh ins

Hi emma
There's a lady that comes to my weight loss clinic that's over 7 hours away...I wouldn't drive that far
but apparently she thinks it's worth it...lol
Check out all the bariatric doctors in your area..you might could call and ask them on the phone
if they perscribe phen...I don't know it they would divulge that over the phone or not but might be
worth a shot..
