Careful! Phentermine makes you angry!! and rude! because of the type Phentermine your taking

This is what I learned over the years

There is couple type of phentermine that cause...certain behavior changes

The big blue and white football painted blue spec MP 273 phentermine etc

The Good :

1. Lose alot weight
2. Ton of energy (maybe to much)

The Bad

1. You turn rude and mean

Now

The a-159 phentermine

The Good

1. Lose weight
2. Your friends are not mad at you

The bad

1. Not as much energy

My advice is stick with the A-159...your life will be much happier..even if your less energetic

I think everybody reacts differently. I had tons of energy on A159's and would swing into phen rage in a heartbeat. Now if you're telling me I'm going to be WORSE on the MP273, which I should be getting next week. well watch for me on the 11 o'clock news folks! lol

I agree everybody probably reacts differently to the phentermine types

From what I experienced

The A-159 I get good amount energy..but alot different style of energy..Then the dr. b phentermine from the pharmacy or these mp 273..its like super evergy...and you cannot be social with it really..also you get super focused..whatever your doing
the a-159..you can be social with it..everyone around you is much more happier....that you dont turn evil...lol mp-273 you especially turn evil..is when the phentermine wears off...you can get snappy and turn into mr.hyde..

my suggestion..stick with the a-159..

I didn't care for the a-159 and i think my moods were worse...the manufacturer Qualitest was the best for me as far as mood goes on generic. Now I'm on Adipex and my mood is no worse than usual and they are by far the best for ME as far as appetite control, but everyone is different.

I was wondering the same thing I looked at my pills and they say a-160 on the yellow capsule I get them from walgreens made by actavis. I asked for non generic and they laughed at me and said do you know how much the non generic are? no one carries them, everyone has the generic form.

Just ask at the pharmacy, they can tell you which brand they carry and who the manufacturer is. Not every pharmacy carries the same manufacturer...it depends on who they have their contract with.

Actually, most places can and will perscribe Adipex which is the non generic. You may have to get it ordered though (takes 1-2 days). If you have insurance the cost would be around $30 compared to $10 for Phen. If I took it and found it to work much better then heck yeah I'd pay the extra $20!

Thanks Goth for the info! I will have to interrogate my pharmacist soon!

Also, if you prefer a certain manufacturer...ask if it's on the list that your pharmacy can order. We had a huge book of stuff we could order but didn't normally carry....I was the lucky one that had to always look through it.

I don't see any difference between the 2 pills other than one is generic and one isn't. I am grumpy either way, and I find myself mad at the silliest things. The thing is that the MP-273 and the A - 159 are only applicable to the 37.5 mg. Phen. Any other phen mg is going to have a different number on the pill itself.

I agree with craftymomma....the same people who ticked me off before are still doing it. They just don't get away with as much before I tell them off. lol I think it has made me better because I don't put up with thier crap. lol
