you might be able to save $$ on gas!

okay, so i've been paying $4 a gallon FOREVER (i have to fill up every 2 days) ..... so the other day i was just lolligaggin' around at the gas pump and looked down on the gas cap. there was a sticker that said, "this vehicle can operate on ethanol E85..." or something like that! my husband was with me and i was like, "what's that?" he looked at it and was like too bad we didn't see that before....it's about 50 cents cheaper per gallon. i drive a dodge minivan so i'd say a lot of "bigger" vehicles probably take it. you guys should check your gas cap for a sticker!....or the owner's manual will tell you, too. i put some E85 in today and i could tell a big difference in my gas gauge!

Thanks for the info. I'll have to look next time I'm getting gas. Oh and I thought I was the only one who said "lolligaggin' " I haven't heard that term in ages. It always makes me smile.

You have to fill up every 2 days?!?!?!?! Insane! So this Ethanol stuff, is it at the same gas stations? lol I am a bit confused... and .50 cents is a HUGE savings when it comes to gas. That's freakin awesome!

P.S. Lolligaggin is something I do frequently! LOL It's better than daydreaming (cause you actually learn something)

I clean out my vehicle when I'm pumping gas. (I multi-task, lol) I'm going to lolligag and look at the gas cap next time.
