Well, I'm not to the hundred pound weight loss anymore but I still have like 75 pounds to go or so. I lost 34 pounds so far. I weigh 200 pounds now. I have a long way to go before I reach my goal weight but since I weighed 250 before phen (weighed 244 when they put me on phen) I have come a heck of a distance. Just keep with it. You'll get there. I weighed 275 before I was preggo with my daughter and managed to get down to 233 all through pregnancy and much after until my gallbladder surgery and then I went back up to around 250 (I wouldn't be surprised if it was more) then lost to 244 when they put me on phen. So I lost 6 pounds without phen during that time. The hundreds are knocking at my door though. I don't remember what it's like being under 200.
Just remember baby steps, my phrend!That's been the hard part for me... being okay with the fact that even small numbers contribute to the overall loss. I still have about 70 to lose, and I'm hanging in there! Good luck to all of you!
Hi Belle, I started out wanting to lose 100 pounds this year. I've lost 49 so far. Next year I want to lose an additional 30 pounds. Good luck to you!
I am also one of those that wants to lose 100+ plus pounds. I started out at 318..and now down to 287. My goal is 180 ish. I might be happy at 200 I dunno. It's been too long since I've been that and I don't remember what it's like. I've never in my teenage or adult life been skinny....so I just have to take it as it comes!!
although i don't have 100 lbs. or more to lose i think everyone here can relate to each other big-time when it comes to weight loss! we're all going through the same struggles, so this is a great place for support regardless of the number. some people's journey will be longer than others, but our day to day struggles are the same. i know what you mean though.....it's nice to find someone who is going through it alongside you, but like i said....everyone here knows how tough it is and will support you through it all! i never thought this forum would be such a big part of my weight loss. i really don't think i would've lasted as long as i have without it. you will love it! welcome....

You are deffinetely not alone. I started at 250 and thanks to my family history, found myself preggo with Reactive Hypoglycemia. Because I was preggo I didn't have a problem eating healthier but after the baby came it was game time on the take out. That's when I decided I wasn't going to look like that anymore. I started eating better (cut carbs) Then i started working out. I bought the Jillian Michael's set and core secrets. I worked my *** of for 3 mths and managed to lose 25 lbs. I was thrilled. I kept working and working and watching what I would eat and even cut my total fat intake with cutting carbs (that's not easy). But a month went by and the scale didn't move and the clothes weren't getting better. I watched the scale for 3 mths before I decided I needed help. I started my phen on Tuesday, July 1 and by Christmas I want to lose a minimum of 50 lbs. I lost 25 the first 3 so it seems doable to me. I even took up the 10 by August 1 challenge. When I started on this forum there were only a few of us here in the 300's but now there are so many! Very comforting to be with people your own size! I started at 347 and went down to 319 with diet and exercise. I started Phen on March 30 and today I weigh 271. I hav elost 76 ponds to date and I am in AWE! My goal is 200 so I still have 71 to lose but I am half way there. Just 3 months ago I thought this would be impossible but I can see light now. The support here has been imense and I owe a large portion of this success to that. It's hard work every day. Every day I face struggles. But when those numbers move on th scale I remember that it is all worth it!
