Well, I went for my appointment this evening with the doctor that originally prescribed my phen. I told him that I realized I was a "bored" eater and that I didn't think Meridia would help me. I asked if I could give phen another chance. He prescribed the 37.5 again, but told me to take a whole one when I wake up and a half later in the day when or if I started feeling hungry again. He also gave me another prescription for the fluid pills. I tend to retain a lot of fluid, so those really help me. It doesn't help that TOM came to visit me today. I got brave enough to weigh today for the first time in a couple of weeks and I have gained back 8 of the original 23 I had lost. I guess it could have been worse. Wish me luck everyone. I'm making a fresh start and hopefully I can get a lot more of this weight off by the end of the Summer. It's going to be really tough next week on vacation, but I think I will do alright.

Nursy, I'm sending you alot of positive vibes and a big hug...I know that you can do this....you gained back 8, you did not gain back the full 23 that you lost...that is a big deal girl because it means you are nipping it in the bud before it gets too out of control....i'm glad that the doctor gave you the phen again.....not sure what fluid pills are, do you mean diuretics (water pills?)....I tend to gain alot of water weight too but never took a water pill...they must offer relief....

Anyway you are going to do fine girl, we all have our ups and downs on the way to goal. I already gained back a bunch since last week....i've been out of control the past couple of days..i feel disgusting..so I am rededicating myself and not using my father's illness as an excuse to feed my face fritos, hot dogs, pizza, ziti. etc...we are going to a party on July 6 and I don't want to feel like a bloated blow fish.....

so lets do this together....but for God's sake take those gorgeous hooters OUT of the birthday cake!! Very distracting!!!!!! I'm sure your husband sang Happy Birthday to the midgets instead of looking at your face...LOLOL..you are gorgeous girl!

Yes, the fluid pills are Maxzide. It's a potassium sparing diuretic. I took them before when I was on phen. I believe that's how I lost 11 pounds in the first week.......pure dang fluid.

I'll update the picture and get the "hooters" one off of here.....LOL. My hubby is such a nut. He was the one taking the pictures of me on my birthday and when I went through all the pics on my camera, there were a couple that were just of my cleavage. He's such a perv, but I love him......LOL.

Thanks so much again for your encouragement and support. I love every one of you guys here. I will be motivated again.

If you are anything like I am, then the 8lbs is probably due to TOM showing up. I am always wayyyyyyyy heavier during TOM. I am sure you will find once you start taking the fluid pills, you really haven't gained at all. Stick with it. I KNOW YOU CAN DO THIS!!

You can do this! 8lbs isn't bad considering you have been off of Phen for a long time. Good luck this time around! I think you made a good decision about the Meridia. It is way too expensive and doesn't work very well.

Personally, I like the hooters pic. The flame on the 3 is right in her cleavage, giving it a nice glow.

Well, I told y'all most of it was probably fluid. I weighed this morning out of curiosity after peeing myself almost to death yesterday and I've already lost 6 1/2 pounds in the first day. Dang, that's a lot of pee......LOL.
