Default exercise bike question
I'm a very busy mom of four. My oldest is autistic and I really don't have much time to exercise. So I went out and got an exercise bike so I can get in a workout. My question is how long each day should I be on the bike to see results? I did 30 min this morning and felt great! Would doing two 30min workouts a day be enough?

Well, I'm not the best person to give advice about exercise, but I would imagine that anything you do that you don't normally do, would be good for you. Two 30 mins a days sounds like it would be beneficial to me.

If you are just starting to exercise, I'd say take it 30 mins at a time. Your body still needs time to recoupe! But if you are used to exercising, then try it. Personally, i would do 30 mins one day and the 45 the next, 30 again... then an hour the next...etc.
Keep your body guessing!!!
Height= 5'8"

CW 4/18/08 = 221 toal 33 lbs *reached mini goal
CW 6/9/08 = TOM & Vacation.... 231 dang it- But it was fun
CW 7/1/08 = 222

Thanks..... I think I might have started out to much. My left leg is so sore! I think I'll just stick to once a day and gradually increase my time! Thanks again for the great advice!

I LOVE LOVE my exercise bike!!! My bike has trainner programs on it, so I switch it up every other day. I am a pear shape so I have HUGE HIPS, butt, and thighs and they had alot of chubby lines and my butt had alot of cellulite. I started riding my bike daily about two months ago and yesterday I was looking at my self naked in the mirror(checking myself out!!) and I turned around and looked and I was SHOCKED, I had hardly NO cellulite on my butt!!!! It was gone!!! And the backs of my legs no more chubby lines!!!!! I can definetly feel my muscles in my thighs now......I haven't lost alot of weight but I guess I am losing inches and building muscles.
