STOP AND THINK!!!!!

IF I WERE THE DEVIL

If I were the devil, I would gain control of the
most powerful nation in the world;

I would delude their minds into thinking that they had
come from man's effort, instead of God's blessings;

I would promote an attitude of loving things and
using people, instead of the other way around;

I would dupe entire states into relying on gambling
for their state revenue;

I would convince people that character is not an
issue when it comes to leadership;

I would make it legal to kill unborn babies;

I would make it socially acceptable to take one's own
life, and invent machines to make it convenient;

I would cheapen human life as much as possible so that
the life of animals is valued more than human beings;

I would take God out of the schools, where even the
mention of His name was grounds for a lawsuit;

I would come up with drugs that sedate the mind and
target the young, and I would get sports heroes to
advertise them;

I would get control of the media, so that every night I could pollute the mind of every family member with my agenda;

I would attack the family, the backbone of any nation;

I would make divorce acceptable and easy, even
fashionable. If the family crumbles, so does the nation;

I would compel people to express their most depraved
fantasies on canvas and movie screens, and call it art;

I would convince the people that right and wrong are
determined by a few who call themselves authorities
and refer to their agenda as politically correct;

I would persuade people that the church is irrelevant
and out of date, and the Bible is for the naive;

I would dull the minds of Christians, and make them
believe that prayer is not important, and that faithful-
ness and obedience are optional;

Hmmm ... Come to think of it, I guess if I were the devil,
I'd leave things pretty much the way they are.

First off let me say I am new to this forum. The first thing I see is this. Correct me if I am wrong and I will never post again but I thought this was a forum for people using or wanting to try this diet drug. If I wanted a speech on what you think is right and wrong I would look up your blog and read it. It seems like you are trying to convert people or start a fight. Well I guess I fell for it. I do not have to believe what you believe. And nothing I say will change you and nothing you will say will change me. I AM A CHRISTIAN AND I THINK PEOPLE LIKE YOU GIVE THE REST OF US A BAD NAME!!!!! I will not go back and forth with you on this subject again I just wanted to put in my 2 cents since yours seems to be all over the place.

I totally agree 100% it is so sad and people are so very blinded as to what our nation has become.........thank you for your thought provoking post........ it.reminds me to pray for our leaders, whether good or bad.....this is the nation and world we will leave our children, hopefully we are instilling our faith and trust in God to our little ones to survive this mess.. thanks

I am amazed at the statistics given once prayer & God was removed from the school system. Also.... here's another thought.... they implemented "Sex Education" in the school system when I was 10, "TO HELP EDUCATE THE TEENS" LOL... and in the words of my teacher "If you need a condom, tell us, we will give you one. NO QUESTIONS ASKED!! AND WE WON'T TELL YOUR PARENTS!".... hmmmm and what happened??? AH yes, teenage pregnancy has gone up again! Hmmm oh the irony!!!

well, i for one am a strong believer in separation of church and state. if i want to learn, i'll go to school. if i want to be preached to, i'll go to church. euthanasia is also nobody's business except the person considering it.......same for abortion. i'm just saying.......u asked for our thoughts.

We are here to support eachother and a part of that is discussing other things to keep our minds off of the stress! Our weight batlle is extremley stressful and I appreciate your input!

There is a lot more to this forum than phentermine. We talk about everything and anything....and everyone is entitled to post whatever they want and hopefully not get criticiized for it.

I also feel like I was being preached to. There are some things that are funny and some things that people have very strong feelings about. I can see the humor in this but there are a few items in there that are so highly volatile that they should have been left out due to conflicting peoples beliefs. Some things that are said in "jest" are things that should never be said in this way. Just my 2 cents worth.
