Oh yes, I'm a big fan of weight training and do it all the time but that's the muscle under the skin not the skin itself. It does improve the overall look in smoothing out the appearance, but for instance I have a big tummy when I lose weight in my tummy ther's no way it will ever go back to flat but I'd rather it not look like a deflated balloon. I'm pretty sure I'll need a tummy tuck. I resisted doing it the last time I lost weight, but I think not doing it actually made it easier for me to gain the weight back. Because your body will always replace the amount of fat cells you had in your body around the age of 20. Unfortunately for those of us that were heavy in our early adulthood it means we have more then the average person when it comes to fat cells.
So our struggle is worse than those that are thin as we age because we have to work on not filling up all those empty fat cells waiting to store our baggage for us. The only thing that will stop the regrowth of fat cells it to remove them from your body, ie, liposuction, but I had so much extra skin last time I hit 170 that I'm positive I'll need a tummy tuck.
