Default I ALMOST WANT TO GIVE UP!!
I don't feel like I'm losing like I should. I have been on the 37.5 mg since 5-18-08 and I have noticed that my weight goes back and fourth, I gain 2lbs and then I lost them back in a couple of days but I haven't lost any more weight in a week!! I think I would do better if I could prepare my meals in advance. I have 4 children and after I cook for them , I either don't have time to cook for me or I'm just too tired, or I just simply can't afford to buy stuff I need AND things they like. I don't eat a lot and I walk for any hour everyday and I drink more than enough water but I'm starting to lose motivation. Any suggestions??

I felt the same way. I have 3 little girls, and I understand the can't afford what you need or what you like. I have been trying to stick to baby carrots, cut up green peppers, I usually try to eat half of what they eat, so I control my portion, or get a bag of salad mix and keep in the fridge. I have not seen a lot of success on the scale, but I am losing inches because my clothes are fitting looser..

Keep reading the board you will stay motivated.

But fresh veggies, or yogurts are good to have on hand. The kids will love them too.

Nope,no giving up it's not an option,I am curious about your daily intake,you said you dont eat much,that could be the problem,I take one whole day and pre-cook all my meals for the month lunch and dinners,that way all I have to do is microwave it when I want it.

I don't really have any suggestions other than you have been in the race to long to even consider giving up, like Rick said it is not an option!!! Stay strong, Get you a dress, shirt, or any item of clothes you would like to see yourself in at your goal weight. Hang it in a place where you can see it!!! As the weight continues to fall off try it on for motivation and as a visual that each time you get closer and closer to the weight to wear it.....I have a skirt that I look at size 16 and I am just waiting for the day!!!

I've been on/off phen since 2004 and it's always been a struggle. As long as you're losing, you should be happy. It maybe not as fast as you'd like but Phen is not a 'miracle' pill...I'm proof of that. I can totally understand the back-n-forth with the same 2lbs, I've been doing that for the last 2 months but I'm still not giving up cause I want this 'extra' person I carry around gone for good.

I'll find my thread about my weight loss struggle and bump it so you can read it. Weight loss is the hardest thing we'll do so you have to stick with it if you really want it.

[i]Thanks guys!! I needed that kick in the A_ _!!! I am going to take the advice that all of you have gave and Thanks Rick.. I am going to try cooking my meals way in advance, maybe a week or two ahead to see if that helps. Oh and Rick you ask about my intake....well, a normal day for me includes: I get to work at 7am. I will get about 3 slices of bacon and a boiled egg, after i eat, I take my mulit-vitamin. I wait until 10 am to take my phen, and then I wait another hour to have my lunch, ( a few slices of turkey or a slimfast or a salad..about two hours after that I may eat a bag of 100 calories wheat thin crackers and may not eat again till dinner between 7 or 8pm where I may have a smart one dinner.....every now and then, in between meals I may grab a apple or banana or some peanuts for a snack...and of course I am drinking water all day long..../I]

dont give up you just have to find what works for you. here are a few things that work for me.set your calorie intake for the day, i am 1200
preplan all your meals, if you are eating healthy why not get your kids on the right track of healthy eating, remember you need to be burning as many calories that you are taking in stop eating after seven becaue yoiur motabolisim slows down.. so try that and water water water water.
If you want to impress anyone, you must FIRST be impressed with yourself.

Your intake sounds pretty good, maybe you need to up the physical activity? How brisk is your walk? Maybe start trying a little jogging with a walk? Any sodas? How's your sodium intake? High salt intake can make you retain fluid...especially in kid foods there is a lot of hidden sodium (kid foods and preserved foods)... good luck with everything.

Thanks. My walks are very brisk..I am a speed walker with weights so i work up a really good sweat. Maybe I will try the routine where you sprint for a full minute and then walk a while and then sprint for another minute...( I think that's how it works, I'm gonna have to look that up) but Thanks again....

Did you find a diet yet that you can incorporate into your family? That is the hardest and easiest thing you can do. You want to the lose the weight and have the fam healthy too. You should really read up on diets to see which one would fit into your daily grind and once you slowly implement that you can start cutting the bad things from the kids and they wont notice... as long as you do it slow.

In my opinion your not eating halfway near what you should in a day. Breakfast should be your largest meal and alternate that with your lunch. Big breakfast a few days in a row and a medium sized lunch, then switch it for a few days.

Dinner should be protein and veggies - Heavy foods that won't stick to your booty at night. Try and avoid pasta's/starchy items at dinner.

YOUR CARBS should always be eaten before 5pm when your body starts to slow.

Kick some more food into your day and you should start losing. Also, that hour walk isn't going to do you any good if you dont have the basics in your stomach before you do it... Protein or Carbs in small amounts.

Hey Nikkifinn..THanks..Tell me what your idea of a big breakfast is? Also what kind of foods are Heavy but won't stick to my booty?( even though I don't mind it sticking to my booty, it's everywhere else I want it gone)
Carbs before 5??? SO what do you recommend I eat after 5pm?? WOW..so much to remember.....but I want to know..(please)
